Cabin holiday rentals in Homewood

The property was exactly what we were looking for. It fit our group perfectly. Kitchen was very spacious and usable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot tub was also an excellent addition. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Wonderful location and the best view! Cabin was very cozy and the decks + hot tub views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals. Host was very proactive about home updates and responded quickly to questions!

We were in David's house for a ski trip to Palisades Tahoe. The place was great value, in a great location (very close to Palisades), and had everything we needed. Even though David was traveling at the time, he stayed in touch and had clear instructions for checking in and out. Would visit again!

We had a great stay at Shannon & Quentin’s property, wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house/property is very clean, nicely decorated/appointed, and a really good location. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Sarah's house for 3 nights and we really enjoyed everything! the location was great, the clean air, the nature and the magnificent Lake Tahoe! The loma had everything you needed for living, lots of bedrooms and sleeping places, a terrace for relaxing, a grill and a Jacuzzi in the backyard! We will definitely come back!

This cabin is fabulous! It had all the comforts of home (like throw blankets, extra pillows, kitchen with everything cooking item you can think of). The location was perfect. You can walk just a few minutes to get to the lakefront, and so many close by conveniences like grocery store and lots of restaurants. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic little place! Conveniently located and within walking distance to restaurants and the lake. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we enjoyed the soothing sound of water behind the house. While the house is small, the space is well-designed and perfect for two. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our kid had the best time running around and playing freely, and the creek out back is serene and beautiful—a perfect spot to unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. You can tell the host put real care into every corner of the home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish getaway

Very cozy and quaint place. There’s a lake just at a walking distance from the house. Robert is an extremely polite and friendly host and very responsive to all questions. We have 2 dogs and Robert was so thoughtful to provide toys, poop bags and even fur combs! There’s fun board games as well. A very nice stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Tahoe (30 mins only) or just chilling.

Perfect place for 2! Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Were there to rest after 2 weeks exploring national parks and found the deck conducive to relax, walkable distance to town and beach. Some traffic noise but the view trumps that. Host responds when needed yet honors privacy. Would stay again.

It’s a nice cozy cabin that’s so close to the beach! As advertised, the cabin can be less roomy in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom, but overall it’s a great cabin at a great location allowing you to explore Kings beach and North Lake Tahoe with ease!

Loved our stay here. Pros: Beds were clean and comfy. Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. Washer and Dryer. Bathrooms with the necessities. Hot tub. WiFi. Nice TV in the living room. Less popular area of the lake, less touristy-Tahoma. Quiet neighborhood. Access to hiking close by. Market close by is a great gem with great breakfast sandwiches, subs, and pizza. Order ahead! Cons: Little bit of a drive to restaurants and activities (20-45m) depending on where you want to go. Uber would be quite expensive. Not a lot of seating space in the living room.

Absolutely Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! My fiancé and I recently stayed here with our two dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the home felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The house itself was spotless and impressively well-stocked, far beyond what you’d typically expect from an Airbnb. Everything we needed was readily available, from kitchen supplies to cozy blankets, making our stay effortless and relaxing. Our dogs had an amazing time exploring the fully fenced backyard while we enjoyed unwinding in the private hot tub — the perfect way to relax after a day of adventures. The location is fantastic: quiet, peaceful, and just minutes away from Lake Tahoe, scenic hiking trails, and Tahoe City. The provided bikes added an extra layer of fun and made exploring the area even more enjoyable. John's home exceeded our expectations in every way and is an ideal spot to make new memories. We will definitely be back.

All the information provided prior to arrival was complete. The cabin is perfectly appointed with everything one might need for a delightful stay in Tahoma, with access to restaurants and markets and a pier onto Lake Tahoe. A note to interested guests: Tim had warned us about the bears, but one evening we left food in the car and forgot to lock it. The bears did indeed break in—no damage but they did take much of our food (and the dogs’!).
