Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Holmestrand Municipality

We felt totally at home in the house. It is beautiful. The location by the lake is fantastic. It is very quiet. For the children, the trampoline, the kayaks and the SUP board were great. Everything we needed was available in the house. A highlight was the barbecue with a pizza stone and the private beach. The surrounding area is unique with great hiking opportunities. Ida was a perfect hostess. Always available and very friendly. We would be happy to come back again.

I would love to give more stars possible on the Airbnb platform to this location. 😊 The family of my husband stayed at the house during our wedding celebration. My father-in-law needs a quiet and spacious place because he has very delicate health and uses a walker to move around. The house was perfect. Here are the points that I think are important to tell; 1) Mobility friendly. Have a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor with a lot of space for those who use a walker. 2)View. For people that want to rest and need some quiet. The view above the city and overwhelming in a good way. 3) Parking. Easy to walk from the parking area to the balcony and inside the house. My father-in-law was very pleased with such a facility. 4) The kitchen and living room share a view of the city. 5) Garden. I really want you to know that very well take care. Just amazing. We went to Nicolas' house with 11 people and a baby to vacation there. We felt right at home and there was enough room and space for everyone. We would come back. The large garden with terrace was great for barbecuing, a swing trampoline and other play options were also available in addition to all the fruit and vegetables. An absolute recommendation for a stay with children!

This is a very nice place to relax and take a break from a busy life. We were a small family with two kids and we really enjoyed our stay. It’s located by the beautiful and breath taking Drammen’s fjord. Gunvor who is the landlord is a lovely and kind person and she makes sure every thing is ready when you arrive. The house is fully equipped with all the necessary household stuff. We recommend the place for every one, whether you are family or a couple or have pets, this will be an ideal place to live.

Very beautiful apartment, very well located in relation to Oslo, only 20 min by car. Store just at the foot of the apartment. The apartment is very modern, very clean, and very well equipped. The bedding is also very comfortable, we slept very well. Linn is welcoming and available to help when needed. We highly recommend it! Thank you:)

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

The host provided us with all the information we needed. Super location and nice apartment. Clean, all the kitchenware you need and enough towels and soaps, etc. Great!

I had a very pleasant short stay at Halvard’s place. Although I was only there for one night, the experience was excellent. The rental unit is comfortable, well-kept, and situated in a peaceful setting. Halvard was a welcoming and thoughtful host, and I truly appreciated our conversation. I will definitely return in the future and highly recommend his place to others.:)

Stay was very nice. A train stop with direct connection to Oslo was easily accessible on foot. Accommodation was very cozy and the host very friendly.

Charming apartment in a lovely location in walking distance to the center of Son. Clean and tidy with all the equipment you need. Secluded balcony with good sun conditions, and sea view. Cheerful host who responded quickly to all inquiries. Recommended 😊

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

What an amazing Cabin! We absolutely loved the place! The views are absolutely spectacular! We are family of 5 and we felt very comfortable in the cabin. It could be comfortably shared between more people. We loved eating meals or enjoying a morning coffee on terraces. We visited in August but during colder evenings cabin has underfloor heating downstairs that made a massive difference! Could stay there in winter with no issues! Especially with the fire place upstairs. Loads of room for kids to play around. We haven’t used all the games Lena is providing but there is loads! Easy and short access to the fiords and a paddle board available to be use! We loved the character of the place and it felt very warm and welcoming. Lena is an amazing host! She is responding very fast to any queries and is very informative about everything that’s around and worth to visit! She was even helping us with matter that wasn’t about the house and she was an absolute Star from the beginning to the end!

Nice and cozy place!

The Cottage is well located, in a quite place less than 40 minutes from Oslo. The view on the Fjords is great. The Cottage is well equipped and warmless. We have the feeling to be at home! Best location for few days with family, equipment available for kids!

Petters place was fantastic - beautiful views ,lots of space and felt so homely .Perfect for a larger family or a group of friends.Location is great next to the beach and ferry .A great host and a house that we would thoroughly recommend 👍

A very nice cabin with amazing views and location. We were a group of 8 adults, who really enjoyed a pre-summer weekend here. Very nice hosting, quick and easy communication. We would gladly came back!

Lars is an excellent host, friendly, proactive and always trying to make the guest comfortable. highly recommend his place for a quiet and peaceful stay in Oslo suburbs. Five stars.

Really an idyllic place to be. We cuddled from morning to night with morning sun and evening sun. Fantastic grill hut and all the huts were so cozy. Great space if you have children who can run freely to play and jump on the trampoline.
