Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Holmenkollen

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

Spacious and delicious "hotel room" in a quiet, charming neighborhood. Short distance to tram directly to Oslo city center. Easy check-in, good description and good communication.

Kjell and Merete's micro-home is a little gem. The decoration is very nice, and everything has been thought of to make the guests' stay comfortable and easy. In a small volume, there is absolutely everything, and the small attentions of Kjell and Merete give the impression of being more than welcome: soft bathrobes, directions in Norwegian and English to find restaurants in the neighborhood, shower gel and soaps that smell good... We felt at home, and we will be happy to come back! We highly recommend this oasis of calm in the greenery.

Extremely nice house near Oslo. Free parking is just outside and charging station is nearby. Rooms are clean and house feels warm in winter.

Great, very clean and nicely furnished accommodation. Public transport is about 6 minutes' walk away. We had a few nice days in Oslo. I highly recommend this place.

I felt very comfortable in Marie's accommodation. I had plenty of space, everything was nicely decorated and clean. Marie always answered my questions promptly and also gave me very valuable tips. Nice place to stay. Everything what you need is there. Neighbours are very friendly too aswell as the neighbourhood. The bed good. the check in is easy and got some help with the kitchen equipment. The garden gave enough privacy. 😊.Maybe little small for two, but for solo travelers definitely a safe and good place to rent. recommended.

I was a guest at Sigbjørn's apartment for two days. The value for money for a city like Oslo was excellent: the area is very beautiful, halfway between the center and the Ullevaal stadium, with trams 17 and 18 that take you quickly to the center (I suggest the day ticket) The atmosphere of the neighborhood was not at all ultra-touristy, but very genuine. Characteristic apartment, furnished with excellent taste and very clean. Spacious bathroom. Quick and effective communication. I absolutely recommend this place if you pass through Oslo 😊

The location was perfect as we could easily walk to shops and restaurants and the Opera House. Public transport was also within walking distance and the canal was a lovely outlook.

Very nice villa inside the room is cozy and has all the amenities you need!The homeowner even thoughtfully prepared items like candy, cotton swabs, hand cream, etc., the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and always everything was perfect!!It is worth mentioning that the homeowner's garden has been meticulously taken care of with lots of nice flowers and fruit trees to add to our trip in Oslo👍

We love Ole and his wife's place! After I was there once in October last year, I really wanted to come back this year, this time together with my partner. We felt very comfortable in the accommodation again! It is extremely stylishly furnished, very clean and very well equipped. We also like the location very much - you have a wonderful view of a lot of nature and at the same time you can get to the city quite quickly. Ole and his wife are also very, very friendly hosts! This was a great apartment with fabulous views. A brillant location. A short walk to the opera house, the Munch gallery, great restaurants and to Oslo central train station. It was close to city central and all the major attractions. We loved it. Highly recommend staying

Our stay with Martin was pleasant. The bed might have been a little firmer, but that's also the only thing that wasn't optimal. :) We'd love to come back next time we're in Oslo.

We enjoyed our stay at Russell's place. It is a clean apartment with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment has a lovely patio that faces a forest where we found some nice hiking trails in "green space." We took about a 20 minute Uber ride from the train station (probably much cheaper than a taxi) and used Bus 46 for excursions into Oslo (about 30 minutes or so). We cooked several meals "at home," and Russel's kitchen is very well equipped to do so. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet space, that is affordable and clean, this is the place for you. Russel is also very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thanks Russel!

Such a great host and condo. The location couldn’t have been better! Everything we needed was within asking distance. Beautiful surroundings. Always responsive and helpful. On my next trip back, will definitely stay again.
