Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Holmenkollen

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We had a really nice stay at Kaja's place in the Holmenkollen area. The house is large and has a very beautiful kitchen and great upper floor with lots of amenities for kids. The bathroom is fantastic and bedding is great. There is lots to do in the area especially if you are into nature. Also the railway to the city centre is relatively close and there is also a direct bus to the city center super close by. We would come back for sure!

Spacious and delicious "hotel room" in a quiet, charming neighborhood. Short distance to tram directly to Oslo city center. Easy check-in, good description and good communication.

Highly recommended for a larger group. We gathered 8 people from different parts of the country for a wedding and were able to stay together as a whole family. Very pleasant and elegant accommodation. Perfectly functioning contact with the hosts.

Great, very clean and nicely furnished accommodation. Public transport is about 6 minutes' walk away. We had a few nice days in Oslo. I highly recommend this place.

We visited for 3 nights and we enjoyed it very much. It was a nice place with great access to the city and the apartment was great. We recommend it!

Nikolai was proactive in getting in touch with us regarding our arrival time in Oslo, met us at the door of the building, and helped take one of our suitcases upstairs. He provided a great recommendation for dinner nearby (Michael’s), where we had a lovely meal. The apartment itself was beautiful. Immaculately clean and with a very thoughtful supply of amenities/appliances: washing machine, clothes rack, nespresso machine, kettle, oven/microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, cutlery, knives and chopping board, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, scented candles — the only thing to be mindful of is that the bed folds down from the wall, the apartment is small but there is a clever use of space and it’s perfect for 2 people especially if traveling light. 3 min walk to no.19 tram line (Bogstadveien) which is an excellent link to Oslo central station and harbour area. Lots of shops, cafes and beautiful parks within easy walking distance. Would gladly stay here in future.

We had a great stay ! Everything was extremely clean and well appointed. Preben kindly provided a kettle which was much appreciated. Any question we had was answers immediately. We look forward to visiting again!

Very nice villa inside the room is cozy and has all the amenities you need!The homeowner even thoughtfully prepared items like candy, cotton swabs, hand cream, etc., the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and always everything was perfect!!It is worth mentioning that the homeowner's garden has been meticulously taken care of with lots of nice flowers and fruit trees to add to our trip in Oslo👍

Wonderful and comfortable place to stay. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. Located close to grocery, bakery, and train lines. Very easy to get around and explore. Highly recommend.

We love Ole and his wife's place! After I was there once in October last year, I really wanted to come back this year, this time together with my partner. We felt very comfortable in the accommodation again! It is extremely stylishly furnished, very clean and very well equipped. We also like the location very much - you have a wonderful view of a lot of nature and at the same time you can get to the city quite quickly. Ole and his wife are also very, very friendly hosts! This was a great apartment with fabulous views. A brillant location. A short walk to the opera house, the Munch gallery, great restaurants and to Oslo central train station. It was close to city central and all the major attractions. We loved it. Highly recommend staying

We had a lovely stay at Morten and Patrick’s apartment. The apartment was spotless, modern and had lots of great amenities which we really appreciated. Morten and Patrick are great host, very friendly and responsive. The location is great with an amazing view over Oslo and easy to walk or get the tram into town. Thank you, we would definitely recommend to others!

Our stay with Martin was pleasant. The bed might have been a little firmer, but that's also the only thing that wasn't optimal. :) We'd love to come back next time we're in Oslo.

We really enjoyed the studio apartment of Kristian and not least up on the roof terrace with lots of stuff 🌞 The apartment is nicely located in a quiet area but you do not have to walk far if you want more speed and excitement.

We enjoyed our stay at Russell's place. It is a clean apartment with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment has a lovely patio that faces a forest where we found some nice hiking trails in "green space." We took about a 20 minute Uber ride from the train station (probably much cheaper than a taxi) and used Bus 46 for excursions into Oslo (about 30 minutes or so). We cooked several meals "at home," and Russel's kitchen is very well equipped to do so. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet space, that is affordable and clean, this is the place for you. Russel is also very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thanks Russel!
