Around the property is a small forest that borders the Tyrifjord. A cozy older house located separately in the forest, with a large living room with fireplace, four spacious bedrooms, and lots of patio. Historical buzz: On the neighboring plot lived artist Anders Svarstad (1869-1943), who was married to Nobel laureate Sigrid Undset, and they were regularly on the farm.

Log Cabin with exceptional views 40 mins from Oslo

The Cabin is at the top of the hill so you will experience amazing views and extraordinary sunsets. View over Tyrifjorden. It has steep edges around the hut so small children will need to be supervised. The Cabin was built in the 1940's. The livingroom boasts enormous windows so the view is equally breathtaking both indoors and outdoors. 4x4 is recommended but you can also walk up the steep road roughly 15/20 minutes.
