Beach house holiday rentals in Holden Beach

What a wonderful place. It's everything it's billed to be. Very comfortable, peaceful. The kitchen is well appointed. I also really appreciated the personal touches -- books, historical newspapers -- a truly homey feel. Daytime temperatures were mostly in the high 50s but it was very pleasant out on the deck -- nice warm sunshine. And what a treat to get both a sunrise and sunset over the ocean (south-facing beach). Very pleasant strolls to be had on both the beach and streetside. This place is great. I look forward to returning.

This was our third time being hosted by Lily and Daniel. As always immaculate accommodations and I love seeing the improvements made year by year at this fabulous accommodation. Literally only feet from the sand. Centrally located on Holden Beach Island. could not ask for more. Hope to stay again next year if schedules permit.

The 5 of us old high school pals had a stupendous time. Tons of laughter on the deck overlooking the water. Great views! The cottage had everything we needed!

I came with my cousins for a bachelorette trip and we had a great time! It was our first time at Holden Beach. The location was perfect and the house was wonderful. It had everything that we could possibly need. Will definitely book again!

We had an amazing stay! The home was new, clean and beautiful! There was plenty of room, especially with the decks! It met our needs perfectly! We loved all of the activities in the fun yard! It was the best one in the area! We also enjoyed how close we were to the beach! Drew responded quickly to my questions before our stay, which I really appreciated. He was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, if we vacation in Oak Island in the future.

This place is the epitome of peace. Highly recommend this property for so many reasons - great location right off main highway, beautiful view with steps to the beach, nice accomodations with thoughtful touches and best of all, very sweet and helpful hosts, Robert and Emeric. Would love to return and stay longer.

Had a great time and appreciated that the kitchen was truly supplied as a full kitchen so we could cook like we were at home. Chad was very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Low key and a great place to go if the beach is what you’re after. Location is an easy walk to the beach even with 4 kids. The house had plenty of toys for the kids for inside and the beach. The pool has a great shallow area and I really preferred the decking over the concrete. Plenty of room to relax once the day is winding down too. Kids could stay upstairs with us or just hangout in their own rooms. If you like the night life or going out to eat locally, this is not the best place as options are limited. Food lion is just off the island along with some other chains. As well as a seafood market locally about once a week.

10/10 experience. Host was very accommodating, professional, and very personable. We enjoyed our stay and would 110% recommend to anyone!!! Will definitely be back!!

We went on a mini family vacation for my moms birthday and had a beautiful peaceful stay. Each room had a bathroom. Each floor was spotless clean. Had no prom legs with anything. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We absolutely loved our stay at POSH! Location is incredible and the easiest quick walk to the beach (just across the street is the beach access). House is exactly as described and perfect for family gatherings - multiple fridges and dishwashers. The home was clean and well equipped. The private pool was great as well. Kerry was so responsive and kind. We will absolutely be rebooking this property again!

This is our second visit in this beautiful house. Everything you need for small kids and the island is one of our favorite places! Great hosts! Great house! We will be back.

Our family of twelve rented this property the first week in June with high expectations - all of which were met. The hosts responded immediately to a couple of questions and minor requests, and made sure we knew they were available should we need anything. The house was equipped with everything and more than you would need for a comfortable stay. The pool area was fantastic! The decks were a great place to hang out with comfortable seating and wonderful ocean views. Most importantly, the water pressure was great, the AC worked like a charm, and the mattresses were comfortable. There was an easy 5-minute walk to the beach and beach chairs were supplied. This house is located on the quiet end of the island and was nice for evening walks. The living area was on the top floor and featured more comfortable seating for visiting, playing games, watching TV, and family meals. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to a repeat visit!

This was a beautiful stay! Great location, very peaceful, everything was clean and there were a lot of things in the storage closet (chairs, bikes, toys, etc.) for guests!

This was a fantastic place to stay with our children and an even better location! We have made a tradition of camping at Holden Beach for the past 8 years for my son's birthday but decided we wanted to maximize our beach time w/ less set up and tear down. We were so lucky to find this adorable little cottage! VERY convenient to the beach/pier. The outdoor set up underneath the house was perfect for us to just hang in the evenings. Would definitely recommend this house and stay here, again. Thanks for making our 8th year at Holden Beach one to remember!

We very much enjoyed our 30 day stay at "Come Sail Away"...it truly felt like our home away from home! It was clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs. Kim and Jeff were wonderful hosts and we highly recommend staying at this lovely home!

Great location! Walking distance to the beach or a 2 min drive to the Holden Beach peer. Quiet (off season) with great outdoor spaces. Loved the dock and balconies. Per friendly was a big deciding factor. Overall exceeded expectations and we did not want to leave! Thank you for sharing such a peaceful space with us, it felt like home.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy’s place. The house was clean, didn’t have a bad smell, and without stains. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking items we needed throughout our stay. We were steps away from the beach, which was great and the views were amazing. The house is located in a perfect spot. A couple miles from the point to view sunsets and 8 miles to restaurants and shops. The house is also located in between 2 public beach access points so the beach area behind the house was never busy with other beach goers. We appreciated the baby and kid items at the house for our family. Our only complaints were that the wifi wasn’t very fast, and the walk path to the beach was a little weedy. Overall this was the perfect house and beach spot for our family vacation. Check in and checkout instructions were simple and Sandy was very helpful when we had questions and easy to communicate with. We have already recommended this house to others and would love to go back.

This listing turned out to be an ideal place for two combined families (9 total people) to spend a vacation. As advertised, the location is close enough to spot the ocean between the first-row homes, with a huge private expanse of grasslands behind, and just a short walk from the public beach access. I think "space" is the perhaps the key word that comes to mind -- parking for 6 vehicles, and a massive open top floor living space in which our whole tribe could congregate for meals, movies, games, conversation, Bible study, singing, etc. Our host was responsive and informative, proactive in sharing important information, and seemed to genuinely care that our vacation was the best that it could be. The only minor (and it was minor) inconvenience is that while the home has two full baths, one is within the master bedroom suite, which complicates sharing it more with those guests not sleeping in that room. We made it work just fine, though, and would definitely return here again!

It smelt amazing upon walking in! Gave it more of a home feel. Everything was super clean! Loved the extra touch of toothbrushes/toothpaste. All the little things made our week great. Easy beach access topped off our stay and I would highly recommend this place!

Perfect place for my kids and I to stay for a quick beach visit. Mark is very kind and responsive and his place was clean and very convenient. Highly recommend!
