Lake house holiday rentals in Hohenfelden

We spent the turn of the year together with friends in this tranquil cabin and it was fabulous. The place was exactly as described and very clean. Check-in was super relaxed, the host was very friendly and accommodating. Since no guests were expected on the day of departure, we were even allowed to leave a little later. We felt very comfortable right away and had a good time. Although the kitchen is a little cramped and there is no oven (which also came from the description) it was completely sufficient for us and we were able to conjure up a delicious feast here. We spent a few days in the cottage on the lake and felt very comfortable. The house offers a lot of space, very stylishly furnished and also suitable for families. The lake is absolutely fantastic and we will definitely come back again in summer. But our highlight was the sauna. We can recommend a stay at Lake Geiseltal and in the cottage to anyone.

Our long weekend at the mill farm was perfect. The yard is very large with lots of beautiful corners. As a large group, you can freely unfold or enjoy together.

Very satisfied. The location and the garden were even better than the photos suggest, you are actually after 50 meters directly on the lake (if you walk through the adjacent campsite). The three of us got a little tight in the cabin, but that doesn't bother you in the summer.

We (4, 7 and 35 years) felt very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely few days with impressive nature and great activities. Absolutely recommended were the Dragon Gorge and the brine world in Bad Salzungen. We can imagine coming back again and enjoyed the break at Frauensee.

Very spacious residence with upscale and cozy furnishings. Comfortably suitable for up to 6 people (2 bathrooms, three bedrooms - bedrooms a little noisy, so consideration is required). Kitchen equipment modern and above average equipped, both in the number of plates/cutlery, etc., and in the completeness of the utensils. Location near Erfurt/Weimar and between Eisenach and Jena ideally suited to explore the region and the historically significant places by car. Within walking distance, there is a spa with an Italian restaurant, otherwise a car is useful. Due to the immediate location on the bathing lake, it is also a great property in summer, which we could not take advantage of in October. The fireplace gives it a special flair in winter. Karen and Jörg are very nice and great hosts who are very interested in the well-being of the guests. Not only for this reason, it is an absolutely recommended starting point for holidays in the region.

We were in Großkayna with about 25 people for a reunion and birthday weekend. The guesthouse and the associated property offered us just what we needed with a well-equipped, large kitchen, spacious, clean shared rooms, a relaxed common room and large garden. Everything is very simple but cozily furnished and I felt very welcome and supported in planning the stay. We will be happy to come back and I highly recommend the house for an affordable and relaxed group stay!

Klaus 's beautiful abode is the perfect pkace for a serene and peaceful staycation close to Bamberg and Coburg. the beautiful Reuthsee Lake is just round the corner. the house is lovely decorated with all the amenities one needs and Klaus was very responsive and had given clear instructions and information about shopping and food options nearby. would love to visit again. my wife and 2 girls loved every bit of their stay here.

The place is great, picobello clean, new and fully equipped. Climate, dishwasher, etc. It couldn't have been better. The contact with the host was continuous, until arrival until departure . Our stay was just perfect! The house impresses with its beautiful location and modern, thoughtful amenities. When we arrived, everything was sparkling clean, so we immediately felt at home.
