Nice accommodation, for a weekend. With the airfield next door, it's definitely a cool experience. The view from the houses could have been a little nicer for the area. You have to get your water for the accommodation in a canister, but that's not so bad either. The sanitary facilities were okay, but can be improved. Very nice staff.

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

The accommodation was wonderful everything as described. On site it was wonderfully quiet, you always had the impression you were almost alone even though two thirds of the houses were occupied. A very nice place to relax and allow everyday life behind you. All friendly. Only the price through Airbnb is too high Thank you for the wonderful time and we will be happy to come back

Constanze and André are super nice and very communicative hosts. They had many tips for us and were always available for questions. We (a family of 4 with young children) felt very comfortable in the house and garden, with barbecue, fireplace, pool, playground, trampoline, bicycles and the hangover. The location was optimal for us: With the bikes we were in the old town of Weimar in 10 minutes, on the other hand you could also walk directly across the field to the Ilm or ride a bike on the Ilm bike path. A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!

Great for longer stays, has everything you need, pool and sauna was such an extra. Really liked it, recommended!

We had a wonderful week in the cottage. Mario and Silke are very nice people and always helpful. The house is very cozily furnished, nothing is missing and there are lovingly made details everywhere. The sunsets on the veranda were a dream. Our kids had a lot of fun in the great pool. There is so much to do with and without children in the area that we only managed a fraction. Very good was the fairy world and the fairy cave in Saalburg and the climbing forest and the summer toboggan run in Saale.

The lake house Pippa is a fantastic accommodation! Located directly on the lake, with sauna and whirlpool, no wish remains unfulfilled for a relaxing break. We would recommend it at any time and would be happy to go back. The only thing that bothered us a little was that after booking and paying the accommodation price, there were additional costs. That was somewhat non-transparent. We would have liked it to be clear at the time of booking what the total costs would be.

We visited Cor and Marie José's place for a family get-together with 12 people, from age 1 to 87. The place was perfect for a group with diverse needs - beautiful and cozy bedrooms for privacy and a lovely kitchen and dining area for lots of fun-filled family time. Cor and Marie José were super helpful and wonderful hosts. You can tell that they are passionate about what they do. They are just very warm and welcoming people that make you feel right at home in their house. We can highly recommend staying at their place.

Excellent, clean and spacious apartment. Loved the area around with the Storks nest and other birds of prey flying around.

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

We had a wonderful stay in Bettina’s house. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was incredibly peaceful. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden for breakfast and dinner admiring the beautiful view. Bettina was very friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions for day trips using the local tourist card. We rather carelessly left a personal possession behind and Bettina very kindly sent it back to us. We would really recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay here!

Very satisfied. The location and the garden were even better than the photos suggest, you are actually after 50 meters directly on the lake (if you walk through the adjacent campsite). The three of us got a little tight in the cabin, but that doesn't bother you in the summer.

Our short vacation was very nice, cozy and relaxed. We felt very comfortable and the house is also suitable for older people with a walker 😊 (there were three of us ). Breakfast was also delicious. In the surroundings is the spa park Bad Steben, the spa and the very beautiful Frankenwaldsee ( swimming lake ) We were in Haus Tanne ( a nice cozy log cabin ) Super friendly hostess :)

I booked the apartment for a colleague. The communication with Christian was impeccable and the colleague was also very satisfied with the apartment. I'd love to come back.

Everything is great! Good communication and how incredibly nice Nadine's parents are, who brought us to the bungalow.

Kranichfeld is a beautiful village with two supermarkets and various shops within walking distance. The house offers plenty of space and has a nice view of the village. From the village, a cycling route runs south and north. There are also beautiful walks to take from the village. Making your own food is fine in the kitchen, but there are also good restaurants in the village. For our bikes there was space in the garage. Sven is a pleasant host and knew how to solve a problem with the hot water immediately and came up with good tips for cycling routes. We'd love to come back!

We spent a few days at the Teddy and Doll Festival in Sonneberg and stayed here because it is nice and quiet. It was the right decision.

We booked the place for a weekend and celebrated our family reunion there. We particularly liked the secluded location and the proximity to the forest. The children could play carefree outdoors, also the large group room with long table and cozy oven was just great! Thank you!

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't miss anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. Thank you Mandy again for this wonderful break we were able to experience and the little touches that made it even more special! ❤️

Dear Manja, all 4 of us really enjoyed the stay in your beautiful house - from the great location and the breathtaking surroundings to the absolutely extensive facilities with all the loving details and the great hospitality! It was a perfect week all around with great hikes and wonderful bike rides thanks to your super bikes! If you are looking for a quiet place, this is definitely a recommendation. The house is spacious, clean and everything we needed was present. Even plenty of coffee, tea, detergent, spices, oil, etc. The area is quiet, with many small beautiful villages where there is little entertainment. But if you drive a little further, there are also beautiful cities to visit. There are many cycling routes nearby where you do not have to cycle on the larger roads. You really get to the middle of nowhere on those routes. Benjamin's parents live 2km away and are very friendly and helpful. Benjamin responds quickly and appropriately to messages.

On the occasion of a city trip, the four of us spent the weekend in Borgitta's beautiful apartment. Communication was super fast, uncomplicated and warm. The three bedrooms (two single rooms and one double room) and two bathrooms were ideal for our needs. The kitchen and the adjoining utility room are equipped with high-quality appliances and everything you need. A supermarket is just around the corner. Very convenient. The apartment is equipped with countless exciting books, so it was almost a shame not to have time to browse. :) We felt completely comfortable and can recommend the accommodation 100%.
