Cottage by the lake Edsken in Hofors.

On the border between Gästrikland and Dalarna next to Edskens camping and swimming area is our cozy cottage next to our main building. Edsken is one of three lakes Edsken-Fullen-Grycken that is connected to each other and is excellent for paddling, fishing for perch and pike. In the winter, a 4.5-mile ice skating rink is plowed on the lakes. 45 min to Kungsberget. 60 min to Romme Alpin. 9 km from the cottage is one of Sweden's most beautiful golf courses. It is close to stigrik forest, nice exercise tracks and bike trails

Fantastic lake view in large Villa in Stjärnsund.

Large villa with spectacular lake view in popular Stjärnsund. Uniquely decorated house with that little extra. Two large verandas in both directions, where you can enjoy the morning sun as evening sun and an amazing sunset. It is less than 50 meters to the jetty with a wood-fired sauna and only 300 meters to the nearest beach. Boat with electric motor and canoes are available. An hour to both Romme Alpin and Kungsberget and if you like ice wax bathing as much as we do, are awake open all winter.

Historical cottage close to nature, lake, and golf

Our cottage, called Visthuset by Långnäs Herrgård (Långnäs Manor), is an old larder from the 19th century. In early 2000s it was renovated and used as permanent residence for some years. Since then it has been a self-catered holiday rental for up to 4 persons. The cottage is situated by the lake Stor-Gösken, roughly 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club first tee and Hofors Padel. Hofors and surrounding areas offer many possibilities for sport and sightseeing. Please see our guidebook.

Cozy cottage in Stjärnsund

Welcome to our cosy house in Stjärnsund. It is a perfect getaway for a family that wants to enjoy nature in Dalarna. The cottage has a fantastic view over the lake Grycken and with a short walk down the garden, you can have a swim from the bridge. It is also possible to enjoy the day at the public beach a short distance away. It is a walking distance down to the village where you can enjoy lunch, buy food, visit the market, miniature golf or visit the newly opened local brewery.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Welcome to Hofors and our fantastic house which consists of two apartments. The upper floor of 150 sqm is for rent. We live at the lower level so just ask us if you have any questions. Sheets and towels are included. Välkommen till Hofors och vårt fantastiska hus som består av två lägenheter. Övre plan på 150 kvm är för uthyrning. Vi bor på nedre plan så vi hjälper till med alla era funderingar. Lakan och handdukar ingår.

Ca 1 mil till affär,bensinmack. 3,5 km till Gammelstilla Wiskey, Restaurang o Loppis.

Beautiful old house in Torsåker

Separate two bedroom apartment in turn-of-the-century house, situated on the outskirts of the small village of Torsåker with beautiful views of the hills and fields. Perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. (We are closed over the winter months because of the energy-prices. Welcome back in the spring, we open up again at the end of april 2023!)
