Black Forest eco-work house: nature, animals, birds!

Your flat in our half-timbered house is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, Kraichgau or to Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Our farmhouse is located north of the "Black Forest Nature Park". Nature invites you to cycle, hike and discover: orchards, forests, meadow valleys and high moors, gorges, streams & lakes! And vineyards. But you can also relax in our garden and enjoy local wine or craft beer. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat, turtles and sheep (not always on premise).

With free train/bus (Konus) you can quickly reach Bad Wildbad, Schömberg, Pforzheim or Karlsruhe with great attractions. In the house live friendly labradors, chickens in the garden – an animal charm included! The large balcony invites you to relax, and you can spend a summer evening here.

The city center can be reached in 5 minutes by car and offers shopping, cafes, restaurants and a lovely park with a large playground. A bus stop is within walking distance.

Experience the gateway to the Black Forest with its versatile hiking trails right outside the front door. Free parking is available around the house.

Bad Herrenalb: Feel at home in the northern Black Forest

Thank you for your interest in my apartment. I would be very happy to welcome you to our completely renovated Black Forest house from 1894. The approximately 50 square meter attic apartment with a living room, open kitchen, bedroom and bathroom is completely designed with oak parquet or old plank flooring. The balcony allows a beautiful view of the spa house and the spa park. Hiking trails, restaurants, thermal baths and shops are within walking distance.

Apartment right on the edge of the forest

The apartment with beautiful views is located directly on the edge of the forest in the beautiful Black Forest town of Calmbach. There is a bedroom with a bed, an extra room with a sofa bed, a small kitchen with seating, a living room and a shower. We are happy to provide a cot/crib. The apartment is accessible through a separate entrance. Outside there is a terrace with seating area. We live in the house ourselves, but leave the guests any peace :-)

Small outdoor seating area in front of the house. Beautiful view of the Lautenfelsen. Ideal for bikers and hikers.  The accommodation is best reached by car, restaurants & supermarkets are 5-10 minutes away in Gernsbach. There is a call taxi to the Lautenbach district.

Cozy apartment in the northern Black Forest, close to the spa town of Bad Herrenalb (3 km). The apartment is fully equipped and has a balcony. It is located on our separate guest floor, where we rent out additional rooms. If there are more than two people, you can rent additional rooms here Tourist tax must be paid on site There is a bus stop about 10 minutes away towards the town center, but a car is definitely recommended.

11.05-08.06 Only long stays. Pay 2 weeks, stay 3 weeks🏡 Our flat is 5-7 mins walk to the center. You can take the Sommerbergbahn (Funicular) to reach Baumwipfelpfad (Treetop Walk) or the Hängebrücke (Wildline). Two thermal baths and restaurants are also located in the center. A walk in our lovely Kurpark is a must. There's definitely an option for everyone in Bad Wildbad.
