Great little hotel in a central location close to the lake. Rosie, Anne and the boys working there are so helpful and friendly.

I was careful about chosing my hotel and am so glad I chose Aviary hotel! The location is perfect - it’s in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, yet the hotel was very clean, the furnitures were comfortable and most important of all is that it was quiet inside. I couldn’t hear any noise inside the bedroom. Having a peaceful and clean place to rest was so important. I was told that the hotel was recently renovated. Also, the staffs at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Gave me some great spots to try some delicious food. Am so thankful, highly recommend!

Thanks for giving me a ride on the motorcycle to the convention Centre a couple of times Did not have a car to receive me at the airport even when I had pre booked it. Also their estimate of taxi fare is very inaccurate.

I had a lovely stay at Toki! The room was small, but had everything I needed. The retreat is beautifully located in the middle of nature, so that should be your main focus in coming here. There are no walkable restaurants etc, you’re really out in nature. The staff is absolutely lovely and kind, but communication is hard. We did manage with a mix of english and google translate :)

Her place is neat and clean and is well equipped. If you stay here, you can enjoy there with lake view.

We had a wonderful stay. We would have liked to stay longer, but unfortunately there is quite little to do in the area. The rooms, service and pool were great (except for the rats in the ceiling and regular rats poop in bed).

I saw an odd entry on Airbnb where I could stay in a museum about Muong Culture (Vietnamese ethnic tribe) Well that certainly got my attention. On reading further it talks about a contemporary art space, with a strong following among local and international artists. … now I’m hooked! I booked a 3 night stay, which I now regret… I should have booked for the whole week. I was greeted like a long lost friend by the director and owner of the museum along with 10 amazing artists painting in all different styles… large gallery quality paintings, sculpture, ceramics and large public installations. The food, mostly traditional Muong food, is amazing, eating many things I may not have considered. There is a Muong Restaurant but this wasn’t open during my visit, so I was left with a choice of a meal prepared for me, or to share the many many dishes that filled the table to overflowing. After the evening meal the singing and partying continued late into the evening. I will miss my new family

It was a trip with my 2 and 5 year old and I think it's the most memorable place I've ever been to in Vietnam. The surroundings were so beautiful, and I am willing to visit again.

This place is located in the heart of old Quaters. Every hyped place on social media , cafe , Resturant, sightseeing spot is just walking distance from this hotel. The service provided was top notch and I recommend this place and host to anyone and everyone who plans to stay in central part of Hanoi old Quaters area - the tourist location.

The wesr lake facing penthouse is awesome with lots of free and open space. One bedroom is very spacious and second one is small. The beds are comfortable. The property include all necessary kitchen amenities and toiletries. Jason is excellent host who is always willing to help. He arranged us a perfect luxary trip to Halong bay. I would love to stay here again and recommends for everyone.

The hotel is very well located on a quiet street next to the cathedral. Room is spacious. But the bathroom, the shower in particular, is full of mold and not very clean… It's more of an old hotel than a rbnb apartment.

Incredibly cheap, exactly what you want as a landing spot or a back packers respite. I got a high up floor with sick views. You’re a bit outside of the action but as a result you feel like you’re really in Hanoi Hanoi. Staff was so sweeet - like having an Auntie to welcome me back every time I returned. Responsive owner in Airbnb messenger as well. It has just the bare bones but it’s clean and open.

We had a lovely stay. The wooden house is at the end of a beautiful and traditional village. It is quiet. There is a nice and shaded sitting lounge area at the house. The communication with Son was great. You can order on site, juices, coffee and some dishes. Son had a card on his phone with a selection of dishes. The beds were comfortable. We were a family of five there and would do it again.
