STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.

Perfect stay for some relaxed and peaceful days in a stylish, clean and lovely villa. We stayed for three nights with our kids and couldnt recommend this gem of a villa enough: Gianluca is a great host: always available & super friendly. Ira is a treasure: also always available and did everything to make our stay even more comfortable. We immediately felt like home and the style and athmosphere in the villa is just amazing. We spent the sunny days at the pool with the beatiful sorroundings. The Villa was very clean and perfectly eqquiped & furnished. See you next time in Ahangama 🙌

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. The treehouse is an amazing place to stay for exploring the south coast of Sri Lanka. The location is very private and enclosed but still close to the towns of Unawatuna and Galle. The treehouse itself was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and even have a BBQ! The pool was a great size and depth with a cool rope swing. The hosts were very helpful and attentive, with a very friendly doorman. We wish we could have stayed longer as this was the highlight of our trip.

What an incredible few days at Kirigedara! The house is even better than what you see in the photos. Harsha, the caretaker and chef went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and happy. I will forever cherish all the incredible food he made for us. He was always present and available. The house is stunning and in a very peaceful location. It is away from the town and there’s not a lot of restaurants around but we were just happy enjoying the villa, Harsha’s food, the garden and the pool. I would recommend better maintenance of the cushions/couch in the living room and Cabana. Already missing the sounds of the birds and the lush green surroundings. I can’t wait to be back!

Sanjeewa and the team were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The property is spectacular and is like taking a step back in time and very well maintained. The pool area was amazing and the chef did an amazing job for breakfast and dinner with an abundance of food for us. Would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you all so much.
