House holiday rentals in Hinds County

I travel a lot for work and often stay in AirBNBs. Edgar/Travis's place is not your routine AirBNB. The house is much larger than I expected and was very clean. There is also a very large fenced backyard which is perfect for traveling pets. What makes the house so unique are the eclectic decorations from someone who appears to be well-traveled. It really was like stepping into someone's well-loved home ! Definitely would stay here again if I were in the area.

This property was a great find for a sporting event we were coming down to participate in. The beds in the main house and carriage house were quite comfortable and the pool and pool house were where we spent all of our time. I will say that the main house is very old, so if you are expecting a sparkling new facility, this is not your place. The pool house and carriage house looked relatively brand new, so we had a couple guests that were afraid of the mannequins in the house and so they slept in the carriage house lol. Overall, a beautiful property, easy to find things around town and definitely worth a stay.

Denise and her local contact Cameron did an amazing job taking care to provide an excellent home for our group for the week. They were accommodating and responsive. Could not have asked for better hosts!

We stayed a couple If nights to visit friends. The place was very nice and spacious. The location was peaceful and beautiful, and having the added security of surveillance cameras on the property made us feel safe. The host was also very responsive. Very happy with our stay

The Moody General was a wonderful place! We stayed there for a wedding that was occurring at The Raymond Venue close by. It was a fantastic place. We will definitely stay there again if we are staying in Raymond! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed Sherry’s home! We loved the character of the house and the modern amenities she included! This included fans in the bedrooms which is life or death for a Texan! 😊We will definitely stay here again!

This might be my favorite Airbnb ever! It was away from everything (which is what we wanted). The house set up is beautiful and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! My husband and son enjoyed the 3 green golf course and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the pond. The place is just as described. The beds were so comfortable. Nicole was a fantastic host and so responsive and helpful with local recommendations! She had so many amenities that I think hosts overlook, that were really stand out. This is small, but the fact she had dental floss available was a huge plus for me! I’m an avid flosser and have ran out before so the fact she had that available was a huge plus! The place was amazing from the get-go but the small details genuinely pushed it over the top!Overall it was a fantastic stay and if I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be rebooking!

The host was very precise and informative. Clear instructions upon checking out and leaving. The neighborhood was nice, with friendly neighbors. The house was very clean. The decor really made me feel right at home. If I’m ever around the Jackson area I will definitely stay here again. Thanks again Antonio!

It was lovely. Located in a sweet, well-preserved neighborhood with lots of charm. The yard truly was an oasis with birdsong singing out from the mature tree canopy that covers Redwing Avenue. The house was so comfortable and airy. I will definitely try to stay there again in my next trip to Jackson.

We love staying at Aprils place. Great access to Bentonia and Jackson. Highly recommend.

Great place; the pictures look just like the home! Tiffany was very responsive and prompt with any questions or concerns that we had about anything. She also made it very easy to check in as well as as checkout. I would definitely use this place again when traveling

Thank you for having us for the night. It was a quick stop on our travels & your place totally met our needs. The rooms were all clean and we could tell that a lot of work went into renovating a classic house. The kids especially appreciated having access popcorn & and we needed water bottles. Those extra thoughtful touches were a pleasant surprise.

Enjoyed our stay very much! If you love all the charm of an old home, this is a great one. Visiting for a downtown wedding weekend. Perfect location - close to downtown without being too close :)
