Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Himalayas

One of the best Airbnbs of all times! The location is great and approachable. The views are a great mix of forest, valley, orchard and hills. The property is clean and well planned. The appliances are new and the furniture and beds are comfortable. The food was simple, home cooked and we also tried local Himachali food with oh so delicious desi ghee. Above all the host(s) are amazing. Right from the time of booking Sachin was jn touch with us and guided us properly. As soon as we arrived we felt at home in this beautiful an and practically designed abode. The entire family was lovely and ever so welcoming. Sachin and his wife Parul were the perfect companions and guides through local attractions. They took us for cherry and apricot picking, showed us around the village, took us for a picnic at the lake and also took us to a local fair which was so much fun. They were really responsive and accommodating. We got to see and be a part of HP culture too. We will definitely go back soon.

Atul is a superb Host. He ensured our stay is delightful and comfortable. His parents are blessings in disguise for guests. Atul is so well informed about the Himalayan region and is courteous to offer any assistance required. We are definitely visiting him soon this year again 🙂

My stay was comfortable. The view was amazing. Experience was welcoming.

The place is as described a one AC bed room with attached bathroom setup with a lift. The place is a maintained by Heera who is a real Heera in life. He cooks home cooked meals, cleans the place, maintainence hygiene, and very helpful. The place is close to airport but off the main road. Car parking facility is available nearby along with common washing machine.. The ventilation and non availability of windows or balcony is a drawback, but that's what you get for the price. Overall a good affordable place to crash in for the day or night before heading for the airport.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Verandah, Bhimtal. We were a group of 4 senior citizens, 5 adults, kids, and an infant, and the property turned out to be the perfect choice for all age groups. It’s clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible by car — a big plus when traveling with seniors and little ones. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional hospitality. The staff — Krishna, Chandan, Himanshu, and Anmol — were incredibly polite, warm, and always available when needed, yet respectfully invisible when we wanted our space. Their service was seamless and thoughtful in every way. A special mention to Amrit, the owner, who is kind, humble, and genuinely cares about her guests' experience. We were there to celebrate my son's 5th birthday, and thanks to the team, it became a truly memorable occasion for all of us. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful, cozy, and heartwarming getaway in Bhimtal. We'd love to return!

We had an excellent stay at Marley Villa! From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome set the tone for a truly memorable experience. The hospitality was outstanding, and it was absolutely worth spending three days here with family. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, and the food was extraordinary—delicious, home-style meals prepared with love. You name it, they’ll make it! Every one of us enjoyed the food, especially the kids. Special thanks to Uttam, Ujjal, and our gracious host Jay—kudos to the entire team for going above and beyond. The villa truly feels like a home away from home, and its location is perfect, close to all the happening places in Shimla. We will definitely return whenever we’re in Shimla, and we highly recommend Marley Villa to friends and family. If there was a rating above 5 stars, they’d deserve it!

This is Glamping in an environmentally responsible fashion. For all of us who want to stay in an unspoiled Ganges retreat, and see, without culturally distorting and damaging what we have come to enjoy and interact with, this place can't be beat. You get to stay right on the shores of the Ganges and eat the most amazing food while taking in the nature around you. Before our journey communication with the host was especially important given the some what remote location. Inder Jit, our host, made arrangements for us to visit near by sites and transport to and from the airport and supplied the most amazing 3 meals a day. We were in want of nothing. Inder Jit is a wealth of information about the area as well as many other parts of India and is a great story teller. If you want to stay in the Rishikesh area I can't imagine finding a better fit then this. It was fabulous!
