Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Himalayas

We are a group of 3 families with kids. The place was better than we expected and we had loads of fun. It's a well developed property with nice views of the mountains. It is right in between Nainital and Mukteshwar. The staff was courteous and prompt. We had the pleasure of meeting with the owner Mr. Ashok and he was gracious and helpful. Must visit place !

One of my best stays and trips ever. The cottage is so comfortable and feels cozy. The porch outside overlooks the entire valley and the hills on the other side. The host’s family is so nice. Damchoe and her family made such delicious Bhutanese food for me and showed such hospitality and kindness and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Highly recommend.

We visited here for two days, along with our pet dog. It was my dog’s first trip. This stay was exactly what we had hoped for. The way they have maintained this place simply and beautifully, it felt like home. The care taker and the cook were proactive and very polite towards our needs. We would definitely wish to visit again.

The most serene and peaceful stay I've ever had been to. With cute furry friends to play with and amazing hosts to talk to, the place completely felt like a home away from home! It's perfect for family/group of friends to enjoy some quality time <3 Do go out for the forest walk nearby and enjoy the pristine beauty. (don't litter please)

I have been to a lot of Airbnbs & this was easily one of the most unusual ones. Reading the reviews I got to know there is some history associated with the place. Apparently,someone from a royal Nepal family relocated here way back in 1931 & spent the rest of his years at this place until his death in 1993. Our room didn't capture much of this history though,except for a booklet written in 1942. However,the dining room was full of stuff from the 20th century. We found a well maintained visitor book there. The place has been having visitors since over 60 years! Located in a village in Katapathar & about 400 m from Yamuna river,the property is an interesting relic of the past. It's great for someone looking to spend time away from the city. Though both of us felt that TV/free wi-fi can be provided. The caretakers were great & the food was fabulous. We had a good time at the place.

1000 characters won’t be able to summarise the goodness of JD bhai, his family, and his abode. There stay shimmers purity and so do the smiling faces of his family. For me, it’s about people as much as it’s about the place… their tranquil eco lodge amidst the pristine beauty of Jibhi compliments the beauty in their hearts. I will be back for a longer stay… many conversations await! Lots of love!

What a truly magical place. The photographs of Mount Abode are lovely but I don't think any image will do the place justice. It is a really peaceful retreat away from busy Rishikesh with the most beautiful view of the Shivalik Himalayas that will take your breath away. Waking up and opening your curtains to watch the sunrise behind the mountains from bed is so special. This is a really quiet place. No noise. No traffic sounds. No hectic energy. No crowds. There is no wifi and I had no signal personally. For me, this was completely perfect and a welcome break from any distractions. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in nature in the most beautiful surroundings - look no further. The food is delicious - simple, sattvic and made with love. You will be well-fed 3 times a day and also the chef makes delicious Chai! Yash is very warm, welcoming and accommodating. He is also a fantastic yoga teacher so hopefully you get a morning practice with him. A beautiful dream stay.

Lovely stay with Anirud and his family! they take great care of the place and create a very peacful familiar vibe. Infelt immediately at home thanks to homecooked food, a spacious garden chillout area and cozy rooms. Toilet facilities although shared were always very clean. Ani was also very helpful, he received me at night, helped me organize a trekking trip and so on. Full five stars☀️

We had an amazing time at this property! It's surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature, giving a peaceful vibe while still having all the needed amenities close by. Located in Jagatsukh village, it’s a perfect place to relax and spend quality time with loved ones. The local people are super sweet and helpful. The main market is just a short 10-minute walk downhill, and you’ll find almost everything you need there. Plus, Zomato even delivers here, so you can chill and enjoy your food without stepping out. The last 1 km drive is a bit tricky, but once you reach, it’s absolutely worth it. The caretakers are lovely - Deepa Didi cooked delicious meals for us, with so much warmth. The highlight of our stay was meeting the cute little Pahadi beauty, Nandini (Nandu), a real drama queen who made our trip even more memorable. We highly recommend this place and would love to visit again for a longer and more relaxing stay.

I came for a day, and stayed for over a month. Old Manali is wonderful, and peaceful place to stay. This guest house is in a great location inside the town. It was a bit hard to find, yet it all worked out in the end. Aayush's friend Anshul was managing the place, and helped me a lot to settle in the place. We went together to the hot spring in Vashist, and he showed me good local places to eat. Also the other guests were relaxed, and welcoming. They were all local digital nomads, we shared evening and food in the place. All in all, this place is a mellow gem in Old Manali with a beautiful view to the mountains. I can definitely recommend it for a short or long stay.

The location of this property is definitely worth the hassle in reaching it! they have a helpful staff who was kind enough to accept our multiple food requests.

The place is exactly as seen as the photos. The rooms are a bit small but the stay is at a high altitude, justifying the same. Deorital trek entrance is 1 min away. Water can be a problem since monkeys reign havoc in the area. The road farther up makes for a great morning walk and gives a panoramic view of Sari village. Only downside was that the food was a little on the costlier side but then that happens when the nearest market is 20 km away. Dev is a great host and makes it easy to feel at home. Will recommend this property. ❤️❤️

Would absolutely love to return!

What a beautiful location! Left a piece of my heart back at Aashraya. Had the most fulfilling three days. So much to see and do around. Life slows down a lot in places like Aashraya. Depi is a great host. The staff is wonderful and attentive. Definitely returning!

The place felt like home. The caretakers were always responsive and helpful. The place was spacious and clean and had good views. Our pet received so much love and warmth, something that very few pet friendly places are able to offer. Will definitely visit again.

This place is a paradise in Bengal. The greenery, rooms, food is all good. We stayed here for a night but it’s definitely worth spending more time here. Need to get down few flights of stairs from the main road to get to the place. Staff are attentive and helpful. We had a lovely stay here

I almost wish I could keep this place a secret and not write a review so that people don't visit and the place remains hidden in the vast, beautiful and alive wilderness. But here I am. This is a place for peace lovers, sunset lovers and mother nature's devotees. Fantastic experience at Kapil’s place. Kapil was kind enough to answer all questions we had prior to our stay It is definitely even better than the pictures/description. Very welcoming, courteous, informative and helpful staff. All our requests were catered to. The two level ARH is modern, well built and beautiful with stunning views of the river and the wilderness from the rooms and the balcony. We did the Corbett safari (Sonanadi region) which was just 5kms away. Special shoutout to Sonu (caretaker) who helped us spot a tiger in the vicitnity of the AirBnB. Definitely recommend to check the place out. Other things to note - 1. No internet or cell network. Only BSNL works for calling. Jio has very limited network. Truly disconnected experience! :) 2. Recommend an SUV since the slope down from the main road is steep and not well paved. 3. There are 2 full beds- one on the upper level (no AC) and one on the ground level (with AC). There is one large bathroom on the ground level.

the place was outstanding, away from city's crowd and rush. have beautiful surroundings with greenery and having view of snow capped mountains from balcony.

It was a peaceful stay right in nature's lap. Specially the view from balcony was mesmerizing. One special thanks to the caretaker Deepak who took really good care and became our local guide for sightseeing and other activities.

Our stay at Corbett Rajae Homestay was truly special! The place is surrounded by nature, making it peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I really enjoyed bird watching every morning, spotting so many beautiful birds right near the homestay. The grassland spot was a great place to sit and enjoy the open views. The best part was the Sonanadi Zone safari, where we saw stunning forests, elephants, and even a tiger! The area is full of wildlife, and the birds here are just amazing. A visit to the hidden KTR waterfall made the experience even better—walking through the forest to find this secret spot was magical. The hosts and staff were warm, friendly, and took great care of us. The Uttarakhandi food they served was delicious, simple, and full of local flavors. If you love nature, adventure, and good hospitality, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended! ✨

At YogMatra EcoStay there is no reason to leave & i ended up staying for 2 weeks! 🥰 I enjoyed delicious, freshly cooked meals mainly made from the local vegetables.😋 When the sun was out, I took a bath in the river/waterfall nearby in the cleanest and most refreshing himalayan spring water. The surrounding meadows invited me to practice yoga and meditation.🧘🏼‍♀️ Although, I hardly could communicate with the village people I was welcomed warm-heartedly by everyone and regularly invited for a cup of hot & sweet chai. 🫖 Even though the EcoStay is located at such a remote high altitude location, the mudhouse is equipped with all necessities: e.g. warm showers are possible 🛁🫧Ahhh, and the view from the balcony - stunning. When you open your room door you can witness the sunrise and the himalayan peaks from your bed. 🌄 Mohit, the helping hand keeps the place clean, tidy and makes the best Chapatis! 😊 And lots of cuddles to Kittu & Kali 🐈🐕Thanks for making my stay so comfortable. The view from this property is 10/10. you get full glass windows in the so that you dont have to sit outside for it. Care taker was very polite and arranged everything we needed till late night. Along with everything, delicious home cooked food completes everything.
