Manali Homes is a beautiful villa surrounded by the most serene views of the mountains all around you! A very well maintained , spotless clean and comfortable house amidst apple orchards. Preety ji and Rakesh ji are the most gracious hosts! They own the place & are extremely welcoming in nature. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains and the apple orchards. It was truly very relaxing. Preety ji cooks up great meals and her team made sure all our requests and needs were well taken care of. They recommended us walking down to the river bank nearby and it was one of our fondest memories! What a beautiful trail with quaint mountain homes around , passing by the warm Himachali people who are always smiling and happy to help. Manali Homes was everything we could ask for! Our group of 14 comprised 3 elders and they had a comfortable stay too! Highly recommend this spectacular home away from home with spectacular views and all comforts to boast!

It was a wonderful stay, we stayed at the tree house which was a wonderful experience. It was a family vacation with our new family member our little kitten, the experience for her and us was great. The tree house, orchard and the lawn was our little one's favorite. Loved the wonderful home cooked food served, especially the Siddu and rajma. Ambrish is a very friendly host, you can ask him for local recommendation. Would recommend this place to people seeking peace and green surroundings yet drivable distance from Manali and Naggar.

The place is really beautiful- so beautiful that the pictures don't do justice to the reality. Vinay ji is a great host, always helpful and available with suggestions. A walk through the hill forest - with it's apple, cherry and wild species was a treat for all of us. The anecdotes and stories of the history of the land, local knowledge about various plant species and it's uses - really liked that part. Food was also great and like home cooked food. Our family of 9 simply loved every bit of it. My 2 year old daughter is still clamouring to go back to Kotgarh and I am promising her that we will try to be back next year 😀

one of the peaceful and awesome place to Stay

Reached the location without hitch due to the clear instructions and communication. The hosts were very hospitable and actually took us for a forest trail walk. Met some lovely people at the resort. Lovely fruit trees around the house. The rooms were clean and the dining area and balcony provided the perfect hangout place. We mainly ate at the nearby restaurants which were quite good. About 5 minutes walk from the resort are some stunning valley views.

it's a nice and clean place . caretaker is prompt and helpful. very close to Zoo you can even listen tiger roar . you can also watch snow clad mountains . parking is available with drivers room

We had an absolutely amazing time at Vama Homestead. The rooms were spacious and clean.. The host Vardaan Chawla (more of a friend) is absolutely a gem of a person..going out all the way to make our stay a memorable one..Explained us about the area and other topography..Accompanied us to a small river side hike which was absolutely stunning sight..The staff were attentive as well prompt and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable..and last but not the least being a foodie group we were served with best of lip smacking dishes throughout our stay.. Breakfast, lunch, hi tea, barbeque snacks and dinner were quite elaborate made with best of ingredients.. I know it's a bit long review but am compelled to write for the great hospitality we received.. It had everything we could wish for...If planning for a quiet, no hassles great location awesome food then just go for it.. You won't regret.. Only thing to keep in mind is there a small trek from parking to reach the resort..

Very nice budget friendly place.

For anyone who wants to spend some time surrounded by nature and away from city rush, this is a perfect place. The house is a mix of modern and old Pahari architecture. The core of the house is old and traditional while modern facilities have been added later. The outcome is a nice cozy and rustic place. We had the whole house to ourselves as Divya, our host, was travelling. However, she was in touch with us over the phone and her directions were clear and easy to follow. The house was immaculately clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped, rooms are cozy, balconies are a treat to sit in and porches are delightful. We cooked, read, lazed in balconies and porches, explored the orchard and surrounding woods and had a great time overall. Instead of taking out the car, we found a forest trail to market that was simply blissful and good daily exercise. The time we spent here has certainly energized us all. Highly recommended.

It is an amazing property to enjoy nature yet having all the facilities of home. We stayed for one month with two kids. Kids loved the open space and enjoyed watching birds and watching cows in nearby fields. We also enjoyed organic lemons and veges which are grown on property. Host is super helpful and there is a caretaker family on property which provides great service. Rainy days feels heavenly here and thunderstorms at night makes a great light show. There is also a market nearby which is very convenient.

ekant is very responsive host.just cl and msg away.helped us in finding local taxi,food delivery,etc. most sweet gesture during our stay was ekant grandmother who offered us drink,gv tour of thr farm along with ekant and also last but not liest apple from their farm.its peaceful place.bit far if don't hv own car but worth spending time.

Exactly the kind of English cottage I had envisioned for a perfect family holiday! We had an incredibly comfortable stay at this neat and well-maintained property. The caretaker was very cooperative and ensured we had everything we needed right at the cottage. The kitchen was spotless and well-equipped with all essential utensils, making self-cooking easy and convenient. The property is spacious and thoughtfully designed, which gave our toddlers plenty of room to play and enjoy. What stood out the most was how beautifully the space blends with nature — whether you’re relaxing indoors or soaking in the outdoor views, it adds a truly refreshing touch to your stay. If you’re traveling with small kids, this is definitely the kind of place you should consider. We absolutely loved it!

Loved to stay, the view from the whole patio was amazing. It was a beautiful and peaceful place amidst nature. The host was really nice and helpful. It was a great experience staying here. To be honest, we spent most of my time on the balconies.

Honestly this was my first home stay and it was soo good. firstly the Host Bhawani is a super cool host with great response time and took care of everything request that I had. from the day I booked he proactively asked me for my requests and preferences and fullfilled more than what I had. the location is soooooo amazing that it can't be described in words. once you reach the location You will feel like this is where you want to be forever with your family and friends. being in such a peace calm and isolated place you will have every amenities what you need. Rakesh is the care taker who was always available and very humble and polite and understanding. Whenever I needed anything he took care of that. Being it was the month of June I didn't thought the weather could be sooo amazing and cool. It's a house in a valley surrounded by lush green hills and covered by clouds. I went with my family and they all loved the place. The best part it felt like it's my own home.

We stayed here for 6 days whilst watching India thrash England in the cricket. Karan's villa was a peaceful sanctuary for us all to relax in and we were thankful that we were within 20 mins of the stadium and not up in Mcleod Ganj with the other fans. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the outdoor areas were perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The staff were all brilliant and we had a wonderful home cooked curry on our first night. We would have eaten there more but for the fact that the food at the nearby 360 hotel was amazing and kept drawing us back night after night. The location was perfect and not too busy with car horns etc. We all enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely return.

Ok so where is the 7th star !! If this place is available , book it in a heart beat , its at an amazing location with a fabulous staff. Well done place with all the amenities and with a peaceful view of the valley. Hidden away gem of a place

Our stay was wonderful. We went with our office colleagues and had a fantastic 4-day experience at their home. The house is situated on a beautiful farmland, surrounded by orchards and many flowering plants. The hosts and their family were incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. They have all the necessary amenities, and the accommodation was spotless and well-maintained. A special thanks to Seema Ma'am for taking such great care of us, treating us like family. We hope to return soon and create even more wonderful memories.

i am late in posting the review because of my travel but have been wanting to post it as soon as i got out of there.loved every bit of my stay at plumcove.the neat and tidy.views are just as shown in the pictures.the icing on the cake is the services of the caretaker,Ajeet and the cook.delicious meals,fresh and home cooked delivered at your doorstep. you will not feel like going out as the place has evedything you will need for a comfortable stay.the owner ensured that our stay there was as perfect as we could imagine.will definitely come back...

We had an amazing stay at this homestay in Fagu, Shimla. Everything about it was perfect! The food, tea, and coffee were outstanding, with a homely touch that made every meal feel special. We really loved the place and people there. It was peaceful and on the path of becomt self sufficient . Food is yum and healthy. It’s a really great place if you know what you are looking for. locating the place can be a bit tricky but getting in touch with the host beforehand can ease the process.
