Mansion holiday rentals in Hilltop

Hands down the best Airbnb stay we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and character of the house. It’s not only beautiful, but also clearly one of the more historic and unique buildings in Charleston. Can definitely recommend to anyone looking!

Our family (3 generations) enjoyed The Crooked Tree house very much. It’s a beautiful wooded setting, very private. The location was convenient to the different hiking trails, rafting, mountain biking, and paintball! The kitchen was well stocked and the kitchen, dining and family room combination was great! The game room was very popular for all ages! The rhododendrons were just a few days from blooming, so unfortunately we didn’t get to see them. Next time, we would go one week later.

We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years, but this was by far the best one. The home had everything we could have hoped for and the outdoor space was awesome. Our whole family loved their stay and the grandkids made memories together that they will talk about for years to come. Jeana was a wonderful host!

Jessie was so kind and let us check in early and check out a little late. The house was very accommodating for four families, we really enjoyed our stay.

The Bee Glade was an amazing stay and lots of fun with friends and family. The ping pong table was our favorite!

We had a wonderful time at Harmony House. The home was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. The hosts were fabulous - extremely responsive and proactive. We would definitely recommend staying at Harmony House!

Abby was a fantastic host, and the Victorian Inn was exactly as described. There were plenty of beds for our large group and the Inn was well stocked with more than enough pillows and towels. The game room was a lot of fun for both the kids and adults in our group, and the extra large dining table was perfect for our meals. The location was very close to our destination at ACE Adventure Resort, as well as fantastic hiking trails and numerous other activities. Thank you Abby for a wonderful stay!

Timothy was very responsive and explained everything perfectly. I did not even need to reach out to him cause he had everything set out, labeled, and set up for a remarkable stay which is what we had. Thanks.

5 of us took a motorcycle trip to West Virginia and had a fantastic vacation. The house was very clean. Open. And plenty of beds and space for all of us. They checked on us and communicated beyond well through the whole Process. Would recommend.

Great place to stay. We enjoyed fishing on the New for a couple days and this house was perfect for our party of 4. I will be staying at Darlene’s again in the future.

The house in Oak Hill was in a great location for our visit to New River Gorge National Park. We were only minutes from all kinds of activities in the area. We really enjoyed white-water rafting & hiking. It was always nice to come back to the house and enjoy some family time in the evenings. It has a very nice open floor plan with plenty of space to spread out. It was a plus that our two small dogs were able to join us as well. Thank you for the accommodations.

Kitchen well supplied -- an Easter feast, no problem! Wished for an ironing board for the Easter outfit but no one, including me, noticed wrinkles. Loved playing pingpong and horseshoes in the giant backyard and close to *so* many great hikes. Wished for more area rugs to stretch on post hike but get that dog friendly and rugs don't always go together. Loved being across the road from houses with an airstrip behind them. Really fun hanging on the front porch and seeing a little plane take off. Recommend!

This was our second amazing stay at this beautiful home. It is such an incredible spot with an amazing kitchen (that is incredibly well stocked) and beautiful spaces to relax and feel at home. The porch is incredible, and the lightning bugs do not disappoint! We can’t wait to be back, in fact we will likely come back every year. Very very highly recommend this home, and the host is incredibly responsive and kind.

Great little house for a weekend near the national park! Location was fantastic, 10 min drive to the National Park visitor center and bridge views, around 45 min to the other side of the park. Walkable to several restaurants, which was a definite plus. The house is at the end of a dead end street which was nice and the neighborhood was very quiet! The hot tub was an added bonus and we greatly enjoyed out stay here with 6 adults.

We just had our 4 day trip and stayed at Casey’s, The Big House at the Landing Strip. It was so spacious for our group of 9, clean, homey and the front porch was the ABSOLUTE best place to hang out! Being on the old air strip was cool. Very close to some really good outlaw trails (beer can alley, flag rock, the drinking tree, Ziggy’s and outlaw bar & grill) were some of the places we visited… with access to the Hatfield trails. Recommend this place for sure!!

Great stay, beautiful area, comfy beds!!

We had a great stay at the NRG Poolhouse. Wonderful accommodation for a large group! Elissa was very helpful and responsive.

Second time we have stayed and have enjoyed each. Large farm house, is starting to show its age but that adds to the character. Pool and hot tub worked perfectly, Only 6 miles from Fayetteville. Great place for a large group on a rafting adventure.

Ryan was great. We had initially booked a different property of his but he was honest with us that due to construction it might not be available. We were able to find a different property and book it the same day. Flash forward to getting there Ryan was always available to chat including when we had some issues with the water. He communicated clearly with some options for us and all was well in the end.

I love staying here it is always nice to be close to town and the trails.

This cabin was great for our stay! We spent The Weekend to go snowboarding & skiing at Winterplace. Was a little bit of a drive but we didn’t mind. The cabin wasn’t too hard to find permitting the weather (we got 8” of snow while we stayed). If you come in the winter I would strongly recommend driving something with 4x4! Overall we enjoyed our stay! Especially the hot tub!

This place was great. Literally it was 5 mins away from the New River Gorge NP visitor center & Bridge Walk. It was also just a few minutes to the local restaurants like Pies & Pints and Secret Sandwich Society. Walmart & Kroger were less than 10 mins down the road. Also close to Hawks Nest State Park. The house is on a quiet neighborhood right off of Hwy 19. Well appointed, clean, tastefully decorated. Perfect for our family of 4 (2 teens), and we all thoroughly enjoyed the DVD collection! Caught up on some old movies. We’d definitely look at staying here again.

Great location, really convenient. House was very clean - had everything we needed. Close to all the parks, and on a really quiet street. We had a really great time!
