Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hillsboro

This was our second 3-week stay at Tiffany’s place. It is a very comfortable, spotlessly clean home that is within a few minutes of everything you need to enjoy a stay in the Hillsboro area. Convenient to sights in Portland in under 30 minutes. Easy check in, easy parking, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and a responsive host. A great place to stay!! Would just caution that babies and young children might be disturbed by extremely loud engines turning on and off usually in the late afternoon.

Yuting is a great host. Her place is truly one of the best homes I’ve been to with all the things you need for a pleasant stay. It is located in a beautiful and calm neighborhood. You can always count on Yuting’s timely and friendly communication. My family was so pleased to stay there and we would definitely recommend anyone too.

If you are traveling with a large group, this is the place for you! It is so spacious and cozy at the same time. Sitting in the down stairs living room was so relaxing after a hectic few days of graduation prep and moving my college kid out of her dorm. Thank you Sylvia and Ryan for hosting us in your lovely home!

Rick's place was clean and comfortable and perfect for our extended weekend stay. We enjoyed the games and hot tub and would definitely choose to stay there again! He is a responsive host and pleasant to work with!

The place was clean and easy to find. Surrounded by lush green we felt peaceful and comfortable. Yuliya is great with communication and proactive. Kids enjoyed the popcorn machine, outdoor play and hammocks. Kitchen had all the required equipment to cook homemade food.

Tiny but perfect for our needs! Loved the little touches they added and the studio looks really nice. They even were able to let us check in a little early which we appreciated.

Very kind host who was super responsive. Home was in a beautiful area the yard was peaceful and quiet.

The neighborhood is quiet and the place is a quick drive to so many things to do. The darkening window shade in the main bedroom is great for sleeping in. After a day full of activity, it was nice to come home to the hot tub. Sometime back a reviewer said the trampoline was not usable. While I didn't use it, there was one in the backyard that looked absolutely fine to use. Perhaps the old one was replaced? Anyway, just letting others know who are interested in the feature.

The house is truly beautiful. Everything is very peaceful. I recommend it 100%. Everything is exactly as it appears in the photo. Communication was very good. A beautiful house.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place and perfect for one or two people. The shower was spacious with two showerheads, the bed was comfortable, and outside area was exactly what I needed. I kept the bedroom windows open because I like to be cool, and there was very little noise, except an occasional serenade by a nearby frog. Easy to get to from the freeway, though my GPS had me on the next street over, but it was easy to figure out where I needed to be with Rebecca’s directions before I got there.

This space was neat, simple and the perfect size for a weekend getaway. It’s housed in an old building with high ceilings, right in downtown Forest grove. It was a bit noisy during the afternoons since it’s on the Main Street but the host provided earplugs which were made good use of by my husband and I. Close to everything this town has to offer, this airbnb was a good match for a comfortable weekend stay for a couple.

This is my favorite air bnb I’ve ever stayed out. The location was great, the space was so beautiful and so affordable. Jim was amazing so friendly and helpful with recommendations. He didn’t make us do any of the cleaning, had seltzer waters and coffee for us on top of everything else, and was just so lovely and pleasant. Thanks so much Jim! Your home is so wonderful.

This was my fourth time staying here. Fireplace Flat feels like home to me now as it is located 2/10 of a mile from my daughter’s house that she was renting while attending the University of Portland. I feel safe and comfortable at Fireplace Flat even traveling alone and I have a routine when I stay there.

Amazing Airbnb! The location is great- being close to the city yet having a bit more quiet. The owners are truly the best. They continually went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their communication was consistently impressive, from my initial inquiry prior to booking all the tickets at through checkout. I was traveling with twin newborns & they were so helpful in setting my trip up for success. The Airbnb itself is thoughtfully arranged & more than you could ask for. Their back yard is AMAZING! Great open green space, camp fire area, dining & a great play set. We plan to be back soon! (: 10/10 would highly recommend!

Had a great time staying at Keith's beautiful and peaceful not alot of traffic so sleeping at night and waking up was nice I enjoyed the full kitchen and nice refrigerator and freezer bathroom was clean couch was comfortable TV was nice and everything was picked up and clean very walkable if you wanted to go to the store or just on a walk with other beautiful nature areas around grocery store if walking is probably 7-10 minutes away and grateful that he left some information and instructions by a lamp indicating what was nearby and close and how far away it was there are stairs you need to climb to go down and come back and get into the place tho I didn't think horrible and the bathtub is deep if you wanted to take a bath or just enjoy taking a hot shower like I did

We really enjoyed our stay with Jared and Stephanie. Great accommodations and helpful responsive host and hostess. We will be back.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway to wine country! Great value, walkable to downtown, and central to wineries.

Spent a couple days here and it was a perfect location. Quiet at night, although be aware there is a train nearby. I was up early so it did not interfere with my stay. The place is close to everything you need. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. The place was very comfortable and would stay here again.

Great place, very clean, lots of amenities. A little hard to find and chack in, but the photo directions from the host really help. There is a grocery store about a 1 min walk from the apartment which was really handy. Close to the water and centrally located. Overall, very nice.

Great value and it was above my expectations when I walked into the house. I had a great use of the kitchen and the AC was definitely a huge bonus during the summer heat. Rich was very good in communications and I felt like I was well taken care of

I live nearby and needed a place to stay during a minor remodel - picked this one because it was so close to groceries and restaurants. Very convenient, clean, comfortable, well-stocked kitchen. No problem finding parking on the street. No AC, but stayed cool and pleasant even when the weather got hot. My only complaint was flies (outside) from the chickens next door - Bee got fly traps right away when I mentioned it, but there’s only so much she can do.

We enjoyed the large spaces, especially the living/dining/kitchen area. The dining table was ideal for board games, and it was nice that we could all sit comfortably in the living room. The bed linens were very soft, even though the beds themselves weren't as comfortable (for us -- very subjective). The master bath had some minor detritus in the tub from the skylight too, but everything else was spotless. All in all, we had a lovely time, and Mary Jean was thoughtful, respectful, and helpful.

Definitely best for a solo traveler or couple. Would recommend traveling light just so you’re not tripping over your luggage. The neighborhood felt super safe and was quiet. Definitely would come back in the future :)
