Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hillsboro

The view!!!! Truly spectacular and more magnificent and stunning than the pictures. We took advantage of Cynthia’s recommendation and hired Chef Ian who spoiled us with an amazing dinner and selection of wines for my husband’s 60th birthday dinner that included our two adult children and their significant others. The six of us all stayed at the home together for the vacation and it was perfect. The house is a short drive into town where we enjoyed great takeout from Social Goods one night and another evening had a yummy dinner at Rosmarino, meeting the warm and welcoming owner. Chef Ian put us in touch with his friend Aaron who drove us to three different wineries on Saturday and he even picked up our preordered lunch. Aaron was so kind and funny and born and raised there so had great tips and information to share. My husband and I are huge runners and found some good areas to run within a short drive from the house. All in all, a top ten place and wonderfully responsive host!

Dario’s place was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we have stayed at. Clean , great decor and lovely neighborhood. We came in for a grad school graduation from Pacific university , the location was so convenient. Arrival and departure instructions were so easy. I highly recommend staying here for any visit.

We stayed here for a family trip to celebrate my son’s graduation, and it was the perfect home base for our vacation. The house was spacious, clean, and very inviting. My sons can be quite particular—on past trips, they've missed having a gym—but this place had everything: a gym, a sauna, and even an outdoor hot tub (which we didn’t use, but it was a nice touch!). My wife and kids enjoyed the sauna and gym a lot. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of cutlery, and while we didn’t cook, we appreciated having a kettle for tea. We brought board games from home but noticed the hosts had also stocked some in the cupboard—very thoughtful! The location was another highlight. Portland itself is a beautiful, scenic city, and this house is nestled in a picturesque spot with lovely views from the windows. It was easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit, and my foodie children loved the local eateries. Overall, it was a great experience and a memorable trip for the whole family.

Second time staying here and loved it. Great place, comfortable bed and couches. Perfect little kitchen for quick meals. Extremely toddler friendly!!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb with a group of 11 people. The house was spacious and perfectly set up to accommodate a large group. We really appreciated all the features that made our stay comfortable—especially the multiple washing machines and the well-stocked kitchen, which had plenty of utensils and appliances for cooking big meals. The living area was a standout—it had lots of comfortable seating and was a great space for everyone to relax and spend time together. The bedrooms were also very generous in size, and all the beds were super comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and modern, with everything we needed. The backyard had a great setup with a fire pit, which looked like a perfect spot to hang out, though unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of the rain. Overall, it was a fantastic place for a group stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to others!

The Burrow was a wonderful and beautiful place to stay. You are in the middle of the forest with the city right next door. Leslie was a very accommodating host and was so responsive to any questions or needs. The space was clean, beautiful, and thoughtful. The art are on the walls was amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking for relaxation with a side of the city.

The house has an amazing view out back. nice friendly neighborhood Walmart grocery store. 2 minutes from the house plus many other restaurants and things to do Minh was very quick to respond to any questions I had. we had a 40-hour drive over from Ohio and we got there an hour and a half two hours early and he was very generous letting us check in early. the house is very spacious. lots of room has a real nice room downstairs that is almost like a second living room. plenty of room to park. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the Portland area. we would definitely be using this location when we are out here working again. couldn't ask for a better host

Property was in good condition, my family had a comfortable stay. Will definitely visit them again. Also Ricky and his team are very committed. We lost one item and followed up after 1 week. His team was able to find it for us arranged the pick up. What a wonderful host! Thanks 🙏

We had a lovely stay at Adrienne’s place in Happy Valley, Oregon! Adrienne and his wife are such a sweet and welcoming couple—it truly felt great meeting them. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with stunning balcony views and a refreshing breeze that made our time there extra special. The space was well-equipped with snacks and all the utensils we needed for dining, which was a thoughtful touch. When we requested it, they kindly helped us by setting up a portable air conditioning unit, which made our stay even more comfortable. They also baked and shared delicious muffins with us, which was so thoughtful and sweet—it really made us feel at home. Overall, a wonderful location, a cozy and well-maintained home, and such kind hosts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Happy Valley area!

SO. MANY. STAIRS. 😂😂 be prepared to climb so many stairs to get to the upper unit. BUT WELL WORTH IT!! Just be prepared to take a few trips if you have a lot of bags or heavy stuff. The stairs definitely made us get our steps in hahaha. The host was extremely responsive and even let us check in about 30 mins early because we happened to get into town so close to check in. The bed was super comfortable! The couch was so comfy too for a nice yap about it. GIGANTIC SMART TV in the living room. My friend and I kept saying “this tv is freaking huge” every 10 mins hahahaha. Great space, love the sky lights, the patio was cute. Would book again!

We actually booked Joe's place after our original place was too warm for sleeping. He was quick to respond, let us check in early and his place was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. 10/10.

This was my fourth time staying here. Fireplace Flat feels like home to me now as it is located 2/10 of a mile from my daughter’s house that she was renting while attending the University of Portland. I feel safe and comfortable at Fireplace Flat even traveling alone and I have a routine when I stay there.

Katya's place was a gem of a stay. Cozy and peaceful setting surrounded by a beautiful garden. The great location was walkable to coffee shops, parks, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of staying at Paula’s place for a few days in May. Whenever I am traveling in the Portland area, I always check availability here first. Magnificent property, tranquil vibe, a true gem amongst the treetops. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Great place with access to Max and a number of other activities on the Westside of Portland. We were able to navigate to a Timbers game without much trouble.

This was by far the best Air B&B we've stayed at. We got in just before the summer prices hit which was even better. The pool (and hot tub)is heated and NOT chlorinated (must be salt water) that is super important for some of us. PLENTY of space to not be on top of eachother. 🗝 One thing you want to keep in mind, there are spices, but no condiments whatsoever.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hex Odyssey! The house was stunning and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making our arrival and departure a breeze. Our host, Lance, provided incredibly clear instructions, which made navigating the property easy. What truly made our experience special was Lance's hospitality. He was not only friendly but also incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome basket and a bottle of Argyle sparkling wine waiting for us, which added a lovely touch to our stay. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Hex Odyssey to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

I had my bachelorette party here and it was perfect!!! The house is clean and modern and the views are incredible. It was perfect for a big group! Also so close to several wineries. The perfect getaway spot!

This is an absolutely stunning rental with great amenities. We wish we had more time here! We stayed here after our wedding night, and it was the perfect spot to feel special as newlyweds. Well before we checked out the following day, we were already talking about wanting to rebook for a future stay. The farmhouse is beautiful and feels simultaneously rustic and luxurious. I highly recommend this place.

We had an incredible stay at the Hex House! The photos really can’t capture how comfortable and cozy the space really is. The instructions were easy to follow and Lance communicated everything before we arrived, so no need to reach out while we stayed. The weather was cool and wet so we didn’t get to use the pool, but the hot tub and sauna were great! We had a group of six and there was so much space. We can’t wait to come back again, maybe next time with our partners! Thanks so much!
