Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Hillcrest, San Diego

Wonderful place in heart of San Diego, walking distance to most things downtown. I was there for a conference at the convention center, with my family. It met all my needs, would stay here again.

This condo absolutely blew us away. After our original Airbnb fell through (a dirty unit and last-minute cancellation), we were in a panic — but Tatjana and Mark came to the rescue with one of the most incredible space we’ve ever stayed in. Located on the 17th floor of the Strata building, this unit offers views that surpass any rooftop bar or lounge in San Diego. The panoramic skyline, twinkling city lights, and bay views are just unreal. At night, you can quietly enjoy watching planes glide through the airport’s flight path — no sound, just a mesmerizing show. By day, we loved spotting naval ships and helicopters in the distance, a uniquely San Diego touch that added even more magic to the stay. The condo itself is immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly peaceful. It felt like a high-end retreat with every comfort of home. Tatjana and Mark were warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our experience perfect.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Both James and Jhen were incredibly responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The location was convenient, and all the little touches made it feel like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego. Absolutely loved the place and its location in relation to everything around it. This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend trip and the golf simulator and other activities in the game room at the complex added so much to our trip. We were able to walk to so many restaurants and other places in the area we didn’t even have to drive anywhere and look for parking or call an Uber. The host was very fast to respond and helped answer any question I had. I would for sure stay at this location the next time I have a group trip to the area.

I stayed here with my husband in December. Super cute place! Has kind of a mid-century feel to it and was very cozy It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to most of the shops and restaurants and South Park. Only about a 10 minute walk to Kindred and Buona Forchetta Neighborhood is nice and quiet, and there was plenty of street parking while we were there (which can be challenging in South Park so we were stoked) Bed was comfortable and they had extra blankets that we used since it was cold. We also used the electric charger for our EV, which was an awesome perk Overall, this Airbnb is cute and in a great location. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Jay & Judy were amazing hosts! Their apartment space was so cozy and perfect for our family. Our kids and dog loved having the fully-fenced backyard to run around in. Jay & Judy also went above and beyond, providing such a welcoming atmosphere for us. There were pastries for us to enjoy, as well as flowers and wine to help celebrate our anniversary. We would love to stay again the next time we spend the weekend in San Diego. Thanks again Jay & Judy! ❤️

Perfect location in Pacific Beach area close to a beautiful park along Mission Bay. Bikes are a great bonus and a quick ride to ocean boardwalk and restaurants. Unit has all the amenities you need including coffee, tea, spices, paper-towels, etc. . The bed was comfortable and ample space. Loved the parking on site! I will be back.

We had a lovely stay at Pineapple Haven and appreciated how helpful and accommodating Bobby was. The place was nicely decorated, kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to get going, beds were comfortable and the buildings facilities were impressive. One downside is that it’s extremely loud when the people in the apartment above are walking around which woke us up about 6am each morning. But this is beyond the hosts control so didn’t impact our rating.

Sara provided everything that needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. She also proved more than was expected, offering items that may have been forgotten. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Great place to stay in San Diego! The house was very clean and comfortable, just as advertised. My dog especially loved the large enclosed backyard and long walks around the neighborhood. It was nice and quiet at night, making for a good night's sleep!

Perfect set up for our family gathering. The place was so enjoyable and welcoming. We could have stayed in the whole time and cooked and played games and enjoyed the property and that was a mini staycation in and of itself. The hosts were very available and accommodating and even assisted us in retrieving some things we’d left behind. Above and beyond!😊

Our family had an amazing time. Perfect place to spend family time together. The rooftop outdoor space was a favorite spot for all of us. Convenient location. Quick walk to Bay and good local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Thuy’s house was perfect for our group of 6! The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all very clean and nicely furnished. The location was also very convenient, under 30 mins to all the spots we visited. Thank you Thuy!

I had a fantastic stay at Gabe’s place! It was excellent value for money—clean, secure, and exactly as described. Gabe was a great host, and I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area. Would happily stay again!

Great location by everything in mission beach! The inside was very clean, and you can hear the ocean waves break from the windows and even see the ocean from the balcony ! The reason why I rented this place was because of the beach location and all of the beach supplies that were offered. The beach gear really made all the difference!! The beach toys were amazing and kept our toddler occupied. Only thing was the surfboard is made for kids and not adults and not the best. So if you want to surf you’ll have to rent a board, but there’s stores all over, and I rented a board for $15!

Stayed 4 nights with my partner and toddler and what a great place and hosts! By far the friendliest and most accommodating. Natasha made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed before check-in. Stellar communication during our stay and very responsive. The extra toilet paper and paper towels left on the doorstep helped to spot the apt too! We really appreciated the flexibility with our reservation. Asked for a late check out as our flight wasn't until 4 and Natasha was glad to help. This saved hours in the airport but most notably my son was able to finish napping which set us up for success on the way home. This stay felt more like house sitting for family/friends than a typical Airbnb. Only issue was trying to come/go with a stroller...didn't see a ramp or entrance without stairs, probably just overlooked it. Neighborhood is very walkable w/ lots to explore. Our last stop was the farmers market which was excellent too! Definitely recommend and would stay again!!!

We had a great stay at Johnathan and Cindy's place. It felt like home for our almost two week stay. The kitchen was very well appointed with every cooking utensil you need, the bed very comfy, just everything you need. Our thoughtful hosts planned every detail, with little cute signs all over the appartment. We hope to be back, thank you for sharing your lovely place.

We stayed at the beach house for a week with extended family as our first get together in years. It was almost perfect for the 8 of us! Plenty of room, well stocked, and the location to the beach could not be beat! The garage was a little tight for an SUV and a sedan, but that was to be expected. They had a few chairs, boogie boards and toys available for use, along with beach towels so everything you need for the beach is already there. Home was clean, furniture was comfortable, and living area was nicely decorated and spacious. We did have construction happening next door the week we were there, which was less than ideal, but anytime Nancy & Kevin knew something would be affecting us they would give us a heads up. They were very communicative and quick to answer, and check out was easy with clear instructions. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to San Diego!!

Amazing home in an amazing area. Beautiful view inside and outside the home. Fair price. Appreciate the link providing information with all the nearby recommendations. Did not use it but love the easy access and information about rentals. Really appreciated the welcome gifts (coffee, wine etc.)

The condo was very functional and we appreciated the views of the water , sunsets and sunrises . Location could not be better - staring at the bay from the balcony and a short 200 yards walk across to the ocean with its beaches and walkable breaker wall path that goes for miles . Lots of local restaurants in area and a $20 Uber ride to the rest of the Burroughs . So many great places to see . We enjoyed the Hop on/off that provided great insights into the history of San Diego , California's first city . We travelled the One Day Coastal Road Trip listed on the website. Make sure you stop at "Oscars Mexican Seafood" taco shop ( take out) . Beautiful vistas at La Jolla shores and Torrey Pines . Spend the $15 to drive up to the top of Torrey Pines and start your hike, walking the 1.5 mile hill will ruin your life lol. Favorite restaurant was "Butchers Cut" in Gaslamp , had the couples night 32oz Tomahawk . So much to do , so little time . Thanks Mike for being a great host .
