The UPSTAIRS “Cardiff Penthouse” has been remodeled by Professional Interior Designer and she pulled out every creative element in her wheelhouse to give this place the edgy contemporary modern look. It evokes sophistication with spanking new Chef’s kitchen surrounded with custom black cabinets, modern appliances with touches of rose gold and brass. Each room has been beautifully furnished with custom designed furniture to further compliment the sophisticated rock star personality. The master bedroom has extra seating with a walk in closet and the master bath has been completely redone with black tile in a 3D dimension. The brass fixtures and designer wallpaper in both bathrooms make it a Las Vegas experience. The entire penthouse offers full ocean views from the bedroom, large luxurious swanky living room and kitchen. You can also lounge comfortably on the deck which further captures the magnificent ocean views. It's also within walking distance of a world-class specialty market, Starbucks, and leading restaurants, as well as the Pacific Ocean.

Private Guesthouse with Bay View Deck

The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.
