This was my first experience with Airbnb, and I am really pleasantly surprised. Everything worked smoothly from booking to check-out. The apartment was just as described: clean, well equipped and in a great location. Caro and Andreas were always available and very helpful. If I come back to Düsseldorf or the surrounding area, I would definitely book this apartment again for the same period. Clear recommendation!

I am so glad i found this amazing place where i spent a month enjoying the sights and sounds. A perfect place to get away from it all but still be in touch with the sights. very easy to get to from the airport, close to Düsseldorf and Cologne. Even better inside than in the pictures. Almut and Guido are so welcoming. there was no washing machine in the house and they installed it very quickly. I really enjoyed living in this house and highly recommend it to everyone.

The apartment corresponds to the photos and you feel right at home. For very tall people, this is probably nothing but otherwise the apartment exudes a lot of coziness and style. The view is of course top with a view of the countryside. All in all, a great stay. I will gladly come back. 😊👍🏼

Wow. This was an amazing place to stay. Louisa was so kind and friendly and really went above and beyond. The apartment was perfect for our needs and the amenities were great. If you like cooking and preparing food, this has absolutely everything you need. I would definitely stay there again. Fantastic.

Perfect in every way. Thomas was an incredibly hospitable, kind, and helpful host and made us feel so welcome from the very first moment. The place itself was perfectly clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything you could need. The kitchen was well supplied, the WiFi fast, comfortable bed, very nice TV, great bathroom and washing machine for clothes, and it was overall just a completely ideal space for our extended stay. The location is also perfect and only about a 15 minute walk from multiple grocery stores like Aldi and Rewe. Public transport from this location was also incredible and it was easy to cheaply get to cities like Cologne/Düsseldorf for nice day trips. If we are ever visiting North Rhine-Westphalia again in the future we will certainly be wanting to stay here again. Out of over 40+ Airbnbs we have stayed in, this is one of our top 3 favorites, easy. 5/5 in every category.

Welcomed in the driveway by our gorgeous hosts Petra and Gerd. Shown through the wonderful studio and spent the next 3 days exploring Köln and Bonn. Beautiful courtyard to sit and relax in the afternoon/evening. We went to the local Greek restaurant the first night we were there and another night we had a lovely charcuterie in beautiful surroundings of the studio. This is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in out of 170. Highly recommend, this host is definitely 5/5

Anne's property is beautiful. It is peaceful and quiet and the area is wonderful.

The stay was hassle-free. I have been a booker for 8 years and this accommodation was the best we were able to experience. The 1st period went over 4 weeks and we were happy to be able to extend it again by 6 weeks. All in all, I would like to give 5 * with sincere hearts. Thanks so much Armin Zacharias

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We felt very comfortable, the apartment is beautifully furnished and we lacked nothing. Communication was straightforward and our questions were answered quickly and competently. The location of the apartment is in a quiet residential area, free parking is available right outside the door and you can quickly reach the nearest supermarket. Cologne is very easy to reach. The next visit is already booked. Thank you both!

Everything about this place is amazing! But especially the view outside - breathtaking once you walk in!

Iordanis' place was excellent in all respects - it was spacious, well kitted out, warm (as we visited in December) and homely. Access to ample parking was very useful too as we had two cars with us. Iordanis was a very responsive host and was accessible whenever we needed him. The Christmas tree with the lighting was a nice touch as well!

Alexis’s was super host and her place is amazing very well equipt flat also she kept for us the dinning table full of fruits and l Coffee tea smal bites bread every thing was great actually quite safe area close to many restaurants and grocery i have to come every year to cologne for work and this will be the place to always choose

Pietra's place is beautiful, cozy and super well located. For those who like to cook, the apartment is perfect! We spent wonderful days in Dusserdorf.
