Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Hikkaduwa

We had a very comfortable stay in the apartment, it was a great place to base ourselves and travel around Galle and the southern beaches each day. If we had any issues, they were responded to quickly and efficiently. The apartment security is very good, and so helpful having a supermarket in the complex. We would definitely stay here again.

There are always a few small things such as low water pressure and no hot water, cooking almost if you want to cook the local cuisine for daily cooking not enaught but very clean accommodation, 3 rooms 2 bathroom with air conditioning only one room, but a fan in the living room, very nice terase! Close to Main Road and beach!

Would highly recommend staying here!! Especially as a solo traveller it was so important to find somewhere safe and in a convenient location. So close to the beach and many local restaurants, you’ll find everything you need at walking distance. The local family that lives next door is very supportive, always being one text message away with doctor service and making delicious breakfasts for me.

Wow! Nous avons passé un séjour magique de trois semaines au Nomads Colive. Par ou commencer: la vue sur le lac, le style de la chambre, la fenêtre de la douche qui donne sur la jungle et les oiseaux, les bruits paisibles des animaux ou des chants du temple bouddhiste à côté, notre balcon, nos voisins les singes (mieux qu'un safari!), le personnel adorable toujours présent pour répondre à nos besoins, le quartier avec que des gentilles personnes qui vous sourient. C'était incroyable! C'est situé dans un quartier résidentiel donc vous ne serez pas à côté des restaurants: mais sans hésiter, venez ici! Vous serez au calme et en pleine nature, c'est tellement ressourçant. En seulement quelques minutes vous serez en ville, en tuk tuk ou en scooter que l'hôte peut arranger pour vous. Je conseillerai à n'importe qui de venir ici, nous reviendrons !

Ethan is a wonderful host who has a nice property. the house is easy to find navigating through google maps and the check in is easy. The Propery is close by to the Galle beaches and not much of a hassle to find it. Ethan has a nice house which is well maintained. The house is tastefully done with great amineties. Breakfast is not served but the Kitchen is well equipped for cooking basic stuff. The bedrooms are large and A/c is quite Effective in all the rooms. WiFi is available which was of a good speed. We only stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved the place. There is a supermarket downstairs in the same building which will meet your small grocery needs. The Caretaker of this house Sameer is also very helpful. Ethan is very hospitable and keen on explaining the places nearby, suggestions, etc. Shall surely look forward to come back to stay Again..!!

A few friends and I Stayed at this apartment for one night. The location was superb. Short drive to Galle fort as well as unawatuna beach! The amenities were as described and the kitchen was well equipped. The only negative thing to say was the furniture being a bit outdated! Other than that, superb host and location for anyone wanting to come to Galle or unawatuna. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at this apartment! The residential complex is very comfortable and quiet, and the apartment itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Everything was convenient and thoughtfully arranged. The host was very responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions and assisting whenever needed. I definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

The place was fantastic. Priyantha (the housekeeper) kindly check us in and was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. The flat looks exactly like the photos however there were small bits of cleaning that David was very quick to help sort out! The location was a ~10 mins tuktuk from both Galle Fort and Unawatuna making it great if travelling to both and would recommend going to Tea Zone Unawatuna if you want some amazing local tea. It was very secure as well with security at the entrance of both the building itself and the tower entrance and a great view of the city and the coast from far away. Generally a good stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Sam's Condominium-neat and clean apartment with stunning views and the soothing sound of waves . The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect coastal escape.

We stayed at Sanjayas place for four nights. The family was super kind and helped us with local advice such as restaurants and must-sees close by. They arranged transport to the house and again when we left. Their hospitality was warm and made us feel welcome. We would definitly recommend this place to others.

Wowww. Where do I even begin?! We were stunned by how much more beautiful this place was in person. It exceeded all our expectations!! The location can’t be beat. Corner unit, two floors, multiple balconies & floor-to-ceiling windows/doors to catch the beach & gorgeous sunset views from any angle! The bedrooms with attached bathrooms, common areas & divine master suite are so spacious and luxurious! I have to give *high praise* for how well maintained this unit is by Dodampe, his lovely caretaker Upul, and the cleaning staff. The place was sparkling clean - kitchen, curtains, sofas & other furniture/fixtures seemed almost brand new! Incredibly high standards for cleanliness, presentation & keeping unit in excellent working order with no issues. Our family of seniors, young adults, and children had lots of privacy for ourselves as well as generous common areas to spend together. Many thanks to Upul for his warmth, responsiveness, all his help & advice. He even brought a welcome gift!

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

We stayed in the apartment for a month. Everything was great, nice apartment, private area. There is a swimming pool and a gym on site. The staff is helpful. Many thanks to Danoja, we checked in earlier than the agreed time, all issues that arose were resolved promptly (even those that arose due to our stupidity), friendly communication. Thank you very much! We will definitely come again!

Die Unterkunft ist schön und direkt am Meer. Wenn man nicht in dem Restaurant im Gebäudekomplex essen möchte, benötigt man aber immer ein Taxi zum nächsten Restaurant. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde immer Rücksicht genommen und diese auch erfüllt. Weiterhin wurde uns beim organisieren des Transfers zum Flughafen sehr geholfen.

We had one of our best airbnb experiences globally at Mahakiya Fitness, at which this apartment is the best lodging of all the options. Private, stylish, beautifully furnished, but with easy access to a great health food restaurant and the amazing fitness / HIIT classes at Mahakiya. And the most hospitable and friendly staff. Thanks for everything; we look forward to returning !

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

Nuwan and his family treated us to a memorable stay at their house. The location was very good, just over 1km from the main road and easy access to Hikkaduwa beach and resort. They were very helpful with regards to recommending places of interests, and providing taxi transport to and from town. The house had a very homely feel, was comfortable and had all the amenities. Most of all they were incredibly friendly and approachable. l highly recommend Nuwan for long and short stays. Thank you for being a wondeful host

This is good housing. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom. Large dining and living room. Some of the furniture in the house needs updating. Large yard with different fruits, parking place. Without personal transport it will not be very convenient. Squirrels, monkeys, peacocks often appeared in the yard. This is cool. Also responsive and friendly host, helped us and quickly resolved emerging issues.

Dhanushka is a great host, he and his family made us feel so welcome. Communication was great and there were no problems in the month that we stayed there. It was a real experience of the local Sri Lankan village life and we loved it, especially Dhanushka’s family and our wonderful neighbours across the street.

What a fantastic trip - Gorgeous villa, staff, and stay! We just returned from a truly memorable trip to the Lake Koggala House. Our group of 4 couples arrived after Christmas to celebrate our friends’ wedding and New Year’s festivities. The villa exceeded our already high expectations. What a treat! It is even more beautiful and immaculate than the photos. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautifully designed. There are many sitting areas including a spacious air-conditioned movie room/ living room. The views are amazing! Big windows, bedroom terraces, and open spaces allow guests to see plenty of scenery. We’ve stayed in some lovely places, but this house blew us away. The pool overlooks the lake and a sprawling, well-kept garden. There are float toys and relaxing places to sun bathe. The villa team (Vijitha, Chef Ranga, Chandra, etc.) worked hard to ensure our comfort, safety, and fun. Their warmth made us feel like family. From the start, communication with the House Manager, Emma, was fast, easy, professional, pleasant, and informative. We felt at ease booking the house despite the busy Christmas and New Year holiday season. Emma sent tons of helpful information about the accommodation, area, and villa team. Thanks to her help, we were well-prepared for a streamlined arrival. Emma even graciously helped one guest who needed a sudden change of drivers during a pre-arrival trip. This happened right around Christmas, yet Emma was able to provide a new driver to pick-up our friend who was staying 4 hours away in Yala National Park. Thank you, Emma! Emma was also on-hand to answer any questions via text or email. What world-class hospitality! Laundry, yoga, and massage service is available. We also enjoyed a lovely boat ride around the lake visiting various sites. BIG thank you to Chef Ranga who created incredible meals! Wow – each dish was a culinary delight. We loved gathering around the open dining area over one of Chef Ranga’s gourmet meals. He made everything from a Sri Lankan breakfast to homemade pizzas to savory meat-veggie hand pies to a whole decadent seafood dinner. We were beyond spoiled by his food and attention. Vijitha was also key in helping organize our stay. He coordinated our arrival with our drivers as the house is tucked back within the lake area. Vijitha was always there to assist with anything that needed to be done. The ladies (Chandra and another lovely lady) took care of the cleaning and laundry. They couldn't have been nicer or more eager to help. One day before we realized it, they even grabbed our heavy shopping bags as we ran inside from an afternoon rain! The whole team provided 5-star hospitality!! The Koggala Lake House offers fantastic value-for-money. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend others to stay. Nice place with great location close to the ocean! Kind and friendly hosts, sometimes treated us to a delicious breakfast, although it was not included.

Piumi and her family are very nice people. During our stay there I unfortunately had stomach problems and the family did everything they could to make me feel better. They are honest, lovable people. Piumi and her dad speak good English so there was no problem communicating either. Her mum prepared delicious food for breakfast or dinner and always had a kind gesture or two towards us. There is a beautiful jungle around the house where monkeys were jumping every morning, but we also saw a mongoose and a monitor lizard in the garden. The bathroom has good hot water, which is quite unique in Sri Lanka. I can only recommend them if you want an authentic Sri Lankan experience! Thank you truly for everything and hope to see you in the near future.

Отличный дом для комфортного отдыха в Шри-Ланке. Фото полностью соответствуют действительности. Дом большой, на первом этаже живет хозяин с семьей, все этажи выше оборудованы под сдачу гостям. В каждой комнате есть все необходимое: кондиционер, мини-кухня с новой посудой, огромная двуспальная кровать и раскладывающийся диванчик для 3 человека. Для каждой комнаты своя терраса. Достаточно быстрый интернет. Территории вокруг дома нет. Но много растительности, на которой можно наблюдать множество животных. Мы видели дятла, бурундуков, огромных обезьян. Восторгу не было предела! Единственный минус- это расстояние до пляжа, неторопясь идти минут 20, не меньше. Поэтому утром мы ходили пешком (не жарко), а вот днем с пляжа приходилось брать тук-тук за 120-150 местных рупий. Хозяин Лаксири-очень приятный, тактичный и обязательный парень. Помог нам поменять доллары по лучшему курсу чем в аэропорту, устроил трансфер за оптимальную цену, предлагал раз в день подвозить до пляжа бесплатно (не воспользовались). Мы провели прекрасные 6 дней в гостеприимном доме Лаксири, окунувшись в атмосферу жизни местных жителей! Рекомендуем.
