I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Fantastic holiday with family! We had a great 2 night stay .. we enjoyed the hospitality and the villa. Mani was amazing and Kawshika cooked up amazing meals. It was peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, pool and great family time.

Stella Beach House was the perfect getaway for my family and me. The location is absolutely stunning, with an array of excellent restaurants nearby. The house itself was impeccably clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing pool. From the very beginning to the end of our stay, Amit, Chaminda, and their team were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. They prepared delicious meals for us almost every day, which truly enhanced our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Stella Beach Villas to anyone planning a vacation in Sri Lanka. It's a wonderful destination for everyone looking to relax and enjoy a beautiful getaway.

Wow wow, we had an incredible stay! The housekeeper Ari and his wife amita were so so kind, the oceanfront location was impeccable, we had an issue with the electric, but thanks to Rebecca’s quick and helpful service it was taken care of promptly and professionaly, I would highly recommend this property!

We spent a whole month in this house and were delighted! Spacious, cozy, with a lovely chill area by the river where you can relax and enjoy nature. I especially liked the rooftop – the perfect place to do yoga. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it was convenient to cook. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable, slept great. The beach is only a 5-7 minute walk and the surf spot in Weligama is about 25 minutes away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to the hosts for their hospitality!

It was such a Nice Place to live! 5 min to Mirissa Beach But still a quiet Place.

We spent a month here – it's almost a perfect place! The Internet is ideal for work, including video calls. Comfortable bed with new mattress. The bathroom is a delight! The toilet and shower are separated from each other, and the hot water is really unlimited hot water and with great pressure. The kitchen has everything except the Turks for making coffee, but it's a small thing. We made friends with our dogs and played often. They really bark, but only when someone comes, which in our case was very rare. The hosts are wonderful people, it was easy and pleasant to communicate on all issues. There is no noise insulation between our and neighboring apartments at the expense of a thin door in an adjacent wall. We rented this apartment too and used them as a separate office. When someone arrives at the villa, you can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street at any time of the day. In any case, my rating is 10 out of 10 because all the listed pros more than compensate for the minor shortcomings. Thank you!

From the minute we arrived it was a fantastic experience. The villa is amazing and even so much better and bigger than we thought. From the pool area and downstairs bar area to the upstairs kithen / chill out area are layed out so well you couldnt help to love the place. The villa has everything you think of and then on to one of the best things..... The Staff wow they were amazing . ... You have a chef available for you if you wish to dine at the villa you just pay for the groceries and they do the rest and i have to say the food was amazing we had breakfast and dinner most days in the villa. The chefs are talented and can cook a variety of cuisines and everything we got was always cooked ,seasoned and presented well.. The pool area is really good and is cleaned every morning and the kids and adults spent plenty of time in it . There is a supermarket close buy and numerous beaches that can be reached on foot or grab a tuk tuk which can be arranged by the staff

We came in a group of 4 friends. Never seen such spacious villa. Comes with 3 bedrooms (two located on top and one at the ground floor). Spiral Staircase might be difficult for elderly. First thing that I must praise is the housekeeper, his name is Lakshan and he’s the most attentive boy ever. He’s always ready to assist. He helps to cook and reheat too. Theres ample of place for us to chill. From the living hall to the kitchen to the outdoor seats we basically fully utilized the space. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the Main Street coz the small lane seems quiet at night but it’s convenient to order food via apps so we never had to walk out. By the way; we arent pet lovers but the two doggies are sooooooooo well behaved.

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. Location was good; walkable to the beach. It is hard to fully explain just how spacious the cottage is - every room is large and well thought out, even the outside veranda is enormous. The children loved the little pool, it was absolutely perfect to end our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you.

Coccocabana is a beautiful place to stay at the beach of Sri Lanka. Enjoy the garden, swimmingpool, the house , the waves ( in the swimmingside), the restaurants, shops and go everywhere with a tuktuk! There’s so much positive to tell about it…. Come and see it by yourselves.

We- my husband and I and our two kids (2 and 11 years old) had an amazing time at Eranga's place. The small swimming pool with a deeper space for the grown-ups to stand in was perfect for the little one and to cool of, the view to the ocean through the tropical surrounding was so beautiful and Eranga was one of the best hosts we ever had on airbnb. He was so friendly and always available, arranged for us to see baby turtles released into the ocean, we always had drinking water and other supplies in the kitchen.The restaurants around have delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, so there is nothing you could miss. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic stay at Talaramba Reef! We had a large family gathering for 3 nights (9 adults and 5 children) and booked both villas. The villas were beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable, with lovely and immaculately kept grounds. The place was very spacious and it felt very relaxing, and the pools were very pleasant. Ranjith and his team were incredible. They were kind, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay, including helping to organize a party and putting up a lovely banner. The food was also exceptional and great value for money. We cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Clemence was very responsive, and the two helpers were always available and cooked excellent meals for us. The house was a dream - beautifully designed with great attention to detail which sets it apart from other properties in the area. It’s spacious, well-equipped and everything was in great condition. Such a lovely stay a highlighting our long trip to Sri Lanka. Loved the house, the staff at the property, and the spa next door. Loved having our own kitchen (it’s fully stoked), and as a couple to have privacy away from the busy town when we wanted. Location to the beach and other walking distant destinations was perfect. So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

First of all, I liked the location, a very nice beach, close to everything you need, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, a store, a pharmacy, a hospital and even a police station. Very nice and kind, not intrusive hosts. We were worried that the train and the temple would interfere with our vacation, but we did not hear the temple ever, and the train only during the day, but it drove so quickly that we did not always understand that it was him. Very friendly hosts, treated us to coconuts and bananas, it was a pleasure.

I enjoyed every second of my stay with Eva at Kundala House. The energy there is beautiful, the surroundings are so peaceful and calming with the yoga shala and the gardens full of nature. Eva was consistently checking in to make sure everything was up to standard, even when she wasn’t even on the same continent. The rest of the staff around the property were all so friendly and welcoming also. The rooms are cleaned to an immaculate standard. I would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Pramod's place with my family was fantastic! He is truly an incredible host, always attentive to our needs and ready to help with anything we required. His kindness and generosity exceeded all expectations, from assisting with our late check-in due to a delayed flight to helping us organize various trips around the area. The apartment is fantastic, always clean and located in a convenient area for any interest. I highly recommend staying with him so an unique experience !

Everything was great, Nalinda was constantly in touch with us and available for any request. The house itself is simply perfect, plenty of space and really direct access to the sea, definitely the house to book if you want to spend some days in Hikkaduwa! thanks for everything

We have just got home after our trip to the Tropical Beach House in Hikkaduwa. What a totally lovely time away. Great communication with Gavin prior to the visit and out in touch with Darmith (house keeper) and taxi transport for arrival. We arrived at 2am to be met by Darmith and Saji (security) and felt at home straight away. Darmith had collected fridge essentials before we arrived so we were set up for the following morning. The house and gardens are lovely, the sound of the ocean 24/7 is just perfect and the house was spotlessly clean with good facilities. Sangrita helped to provide us with Sri Lankan breakfast foods, loved the Dahl curry and the hoppers but also gave us an awesome Brit breakfast of eggs and bacon! Chandra was on hand at night to cook a bbq which was tasty and varied. We used Tuk tuks to get out and about during our stay which were easy to find. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Lots of local bars and eateries along the beach or further into Hikkaduwa.
