Lake house holiday rentals in High Rock Lake

Amazing home right on the lake. Lots of room for our whole extended family. Kids loved the kayak, paddle boards etc. Great directions on how to get there and access everything. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook big family meals. Definitely would stay again.

We absolutely loved this place! We didn’t do much as we were in town to visit family, but are planning on coming back in the summer. The beds were all very comfortable and there was so much room!

My friends and I had an amazing weekend staying here! From the early mornings drinking coffee on the dock to kayaking and laying on the water hammock to relaxing in the hottub and chilling by the fire at night! We were able to have easy access to all the amenities and had plenty of space in the house for everyone! Kitchen had everything we needed and even with 8 people we didn’t run out of clean towels! Grocery store wasn’t too far and we even took advantage of karaoke night at a local bar. We also went to a drive in movie that was a quick 30 minute drive away. We only had one minor issue upon arrival which Kristen was extremely quick to resolving. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to any group big or small!

We loved this house! It felt brand new, it was super clean, well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. We’ve always dreamed of having a lake house of our own and this place just further intensified that vision! It felt SO quiet and private. I’ve stayed on other areas of HRL that felt much more congested with noisy neighbors where you are forced to hear someone else’s playlist all day. You won’t feel that here! The swimming right off the dock was so good. We rented a pontoon boat with a tube and pulled our teenage girls around for hours! The game room was perfect for when we got some afternoon rain. I’d definitely stay here again. Heather was very communicative. Check in/out was easy. I’m sure this is mentioned in the listing but it’s not a good place for anyone with mobility issues (lots of steep inclines to walk up). Though, we met our stair goals each day and are heading home with stronger calves!

My family and I had an awesome time at their lovely lake house. The galley kitchen was cute, great for buffet style eating. The house was bright and airy, the sunsets were amazing. There’s plenty of yard in the front and back for yard games. There’s boat access right around the corner, walking distance. Would definitely recommend their vacation home.

We loved our stay there with family. It is beautiful and peaceful. Kept the kids entertained in the game room during a storm. Debbie is a wonderful host had chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen that didn't last long. We would recommend her gorgeous home for anyone who is looking for a wonderful, peaceful lake view.

The home was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully updated. The large screened in porch allowed us to enjoy a lovely view in a quiet location of the lake. Landscaping and dock area were attractive and provided lots of fun. It was obvious the owners took great pride in providing thoughtful amenities for their guests to have an enjoyable experience. The only thing that didn’t work for us was taking our boat out of the water there on the property. The gravel driveway made it too difficult to get the traction needed to pull trailered boat up steep incline. The alternative was to drive approximately 10 minutes to Buddle Creek Wildlife Boat Launch to trailer boat upon departure. We enjoyed our stay at this High Rock Lake home and hope to rebook next year.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful home. Everything was exactly as shown and would totally recommend this place to other family’s that enjoy sitting by the lake and enjoying the amazing views. The host was an amazing person that was very responsive and understanding to my questions. I would surely be back to visit again!

Jaime's cute house was the perfect place for our stay on Badin Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Really like the covered parking too since it rained a lot during our stay. It was nice to be able to unload the car without getting too soaking wet!

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

This was the perfect place, it was peaceful and accommodating to our needs. The host was extremely pleasant and quick to respond when we needed them. I can’t wait to visit again for a relaxing weekend! I highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and overall really loved the experience. It was the perfect size for the two of us and felt cozy. They had a perfect spot on the lake and we never saw the neighbors, so although there are houses around it felt private. The balcony was our favorite part and we enjoyed having our meals outside. What I will say is that I wish there was a fire pit. There was gas fire pit in the pictures so we assumed there would be one and even brought stuff to make snores, but there is none. We are love being outside but having no fire pit was disappointing. There was also a plethora of bugs which made sitting outside last sundown nearly impossible. Don’t get me wrong i understand we are at the lake in June, but a fire pit or some sort of bug zapper mechanism would have done wonders. I would also not recommend for larger groups as there is only 1 bathroom and steel stairs to access it. Overall we would definitely book again and actually plan to!

If you are looking for a good place to fish this is one of the best spots so far we came here for my boyfriend Bday and this was the most fish he ever caught we enjoyed it. Grilled food and did roasted marshmallows. The host was very responsive Amber & Her husband. I Didn't have no issue with them as long as you communicate with them and follow the rules everything is good about them. They answered every question If you dont like the bugs then this not the place for you and if you are not good with walking the stairs just know there are steep stairs to the doc but if you love to fish then this is definitely the place to come you will have some on and off moments with the fish but if you patient enough you will have so many fish you can have a fish fry . Caught crapees & catfish. If you want to fish at night there are a few lights provided but I would recommend to bring extra just incase and place them where you going to stand at we fished till 10-11 on some nights We will be Back!

Janna's lake house is adorable. Beautifully decorated. So clean. and that view makes for great sunsets. I loved it. Can't wait to visit again. the neighbors are great too!! highly recommend!!

If you’re thinking about this place, do it! The photos don’t do it justice in terms of size and beauty. Beautiful home and beautiful, peaceful, private surroundings. Lincoln was perfect and responded in a timely manner. He was helpful, accommodating, and proactive. This was the perfect place to celebrate the life of my Dad, whom I recently lost. He would have loved it. Thank you so much for having us, Lincoln! 10/10 across the board!

This place was perfect for our crew of 8. Everyone had plenty of room and the space they needed. The location could not be beaten with the water being right across a private road with your own dock access. We spent many hours out there and in the private pool in the backyard. The host also let us check in early since we were ahead of schedule. Five star stay

This is a lovely house with lots of room to spend big family time together. In a really beautiful setting. Host was incredibly responsive and it was a terrific experience. We were in town for our son‘s wedding and the house was just perfect for our needs.

Enjoyed this lakehouse. Had all the essential amenities. Check in was easy. Beautiful views by the firepit.

Brendan was proactive and responsive making sure we could get into the clean + stocked house and also sharing with us local events and great restaurants nearby. We were able to enjoy the water via the dock: swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding on a nice secluded part of the lake. There is a ton of water fowl and we enjoyed watching all the birds including an egret & heron on the dock one morning. We grabbed local BBQ nearby the first night and get some groceries to cook + grill at the house to maximize our lake time. Next time we'll check out the market before heading to the Food Lion and see if they had local produce. One morning we went to DT Lexington. Cute town! We'd enjoy coming back to visit!
