Lake house holiday rentals in Higgins Lake

My family had a great stay at Kelly’s home. The location is really everything you could hope for on Torch lake. The private beach and access to the water is really a game changer if you want to enjoy some time on Torch with small kids.

Great location for ice fishing. Listing is accurate, spacious and clean. Will definitely book again and look forward to checking this home out for a summer trip. Host is very responsive, friendly and helpful!

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

It was very nice at the mangy moose. Nice lake, nice house. I would stay here again. John is very nice too!

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

Jessica and Pamela's place was exactly as described - but better. There was nothing that felt like a 'second place.' It's very clean. The furniture is nice and comfy. The appliances, dishes, cookware, flatware are top-rate. A large Kerig coffeemaker with either a pot or pod as options (filters and pods are provided - I always wonder). The outdoor furniture is great. Kayaks and a paddle boat are available. We brought a small fishing boat, the lake is clean and quiet - there is a loon's nesting area! It's very peaceful, so many birds to be heard. Jessica and Pamela were very responsive. We had a bit of a hic-up (our fault) as we got situated and the communication was immediate. I would HIGHLY recommend their place and hope to be back. PS: the Blue Heron restaurant in Cadillac was excellent (closes at 2pm).

Peaceful lake vacation with lots to do on the water. Our family loved the kayaks, paddle boards, rowboat, and large mat to play in the water. Everything was there to simply enjoy a serene family vacation on the lake. My son brought his fishing poles and they went out fishing in the boat and kayak and played all the time on the lake. We also enjoyed having my family over who we were in town to visit, and all sit at the the water’s edge in the numerous comfortable chairs provided, just catching up. Everything was perfect for enjoying one another’s company. The house itself is spacious and accommodating for a large family. Comfortable beds, plenty of area to hang out and be cozy while watching a movie, or separate the kids off from those who stay up a little later in the adjoining kitchen area. A perfect place! Book now absolutely.

From beginning to the end of our stay, this home was exactly what we wanted for a private celebration. There were 7 of us and we each really liked this place. We could walk to town which was super fun or just hang out in the backyard . Some of us did the sauna and some just sat around the bonfire. As we were sitting there several times deer walked by. It was in town but felt very secluded and peaceful. Highly recommend and would stay here again

My family loved this cabin. It was one of our favorite AirBnBs. Beautiful backyard and hiking trails. Cool and funky decor. The front porch was nice to drink coffee on in the mornings. We took a peaceful canoe ride. Kitchen was supplied and everything was clearly labeled. Thank you for the stay.

Beautiful views from the deck and inside the house! Very clean and well kept. Many fun places to walk to near by.

This was perfect for our little getaway from home! The water was so relaxing as well as kept the kids busy. They generously have paddle boards and kayaks which were a huge hit. The board games surprisingly kept our teens busy for hours at night so we loved having those. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Had a great weekend at Alex'x place!

This place was one of the best air bnbs we have stayed at! We were allowed to bring the dogs and they absolutely loved the place. Nice big fenced in yard was perfect for them (which is hard to find!) We all felt right at home. The party barn was great when the weather wasn’t that good out. We would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed here for a business trip, there was a ton of space for us all and very peaceful! The house was very clean and nice! The yard is peaceful and private and very quiet!

We had a peaceful weekend enjoying the lake. The kids especially liked the paddleboat. We had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Me and the boys had bachelor weekend at Jason’s house! The pictures still don’t explain the full picture, the house is simply GORGEOUS. I will recommend Jason’s house to friends and family and will be back anytime I visit TC! Thank you Jason for letting us use your home.

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Debra was wonderful to accommodate our needs to be able to check in and get to our Elk viewing in a timely fashion. House was very clean. The area was beautiful with lots of fresh snow.

We had a wonderful stay at this Fife Lake Airbnb! The home was spotless and beautifully modern, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the lake, absolutely peaceful and picturesque. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

I was incredibly happy with our stay here and felt right at home. This might sound silly, but I love that they leave all of their cleaning supplies there so I could clean and vacuum throughout the week. I also loved how there was a closet with hangers, empty dressers, and a clothes hamper. I didn't have to feel like I was living out of my suitcase. I loved the design of the house, especially the kitchen. It's what really set this home apart from others for me. We brought our own paddle boards but the water was still pretty cold, so we opted to use the kayaks Brandi provided instead. We so appreciated that and it was such a short drive to the water! I would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time at Chelsea's place! Elk Rapids is so beautiful to begin with and the cottage felt so tucked in and private but close to all the fun things. A big storm rolled in while we were there so our beach plans turned into the loveliest time of rest reading by the fireplace and watching rhe lightning over Bass Lake. We also just loved the design and layout of the home, which is something we always consider when booking an Airbnb, and it was actually more beautiful than the pictures depicted! The very open kitchen and dining area with the more intimate bedrooms really would make a sweet family space to stay as well! Will certainly book again!

Home was well stocked with all the necessities and supplies! We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend on the lake and evenings by the fire. The space was accommodating for 6, 2 adults and 4 teenagers.
