Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with possibilities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. The cabin is located just by the path to Himakånå, and has good hiking opportunities The property is fenced, which makes the place safe for children. The living room window has a great sea view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 sleeps 3: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot in length 150cm Please pay attention to grazing animals outside the property. Free parking is approx. 150m from the cabin, to come up you have to go a steep climb but one can drive closer to load off luggage.

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.

Naustet is brand new and part of the sea house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunity. Building and furniture created by renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the dock. Naustet is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the garden has 5 km of hiking trail.
