Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hérouville-Saint-Clair

Très bon séjour chez Elise durant lequel nous avons pu profiter en famille. Une maison spacieuse, dotée de tous les équipements utiles. Hôtel très accueillante, accessible et agréable! Je recommande vivement!

We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

Super séjour chez Céline, logement idéal pour 8 personnes, très propre, bien équipé et proche de tout. Hôte très réactive, ce qui est très appréciable. Nous reviendrons l’année prochaine!

Beautiful property in a stunning setting, perfect for our week of touring the Normandy landings. Claire is very helpful and the property is even better than in the pictures.

3eme fois dans ce lieu et par n'importe quel temps et n'importe quelle période de l'année, le charme opere toujours.nous nous y sentons tout simplement bien tant cest paisible.Le gite est super bien équipé et les enfants adorent les jeux, le jardin, Fernand l'âne etc... Bref nous espérons simplement revenir une 4eme fois :-)

Great bar, artisan charcuterie, patisserie and market right on the doorstep. Private rooftop terrace with top quality furniture. Parking through secure gates. The host sends helpful photos and messages for access and advice. Can't wait to return.

We stayed at the apartment for two nights. The apartment is central. Easy to travel on foot to the tobacco shop, bakery, and various other shops, as they were all within the town centre (about a minute from the apartment). The apartment was also within walking distance to the beach, harbour and restaurants. The apartment was BEAUTIFUL. So spacious and beautifully decorated. Alizée provided every thing you could possibly need and explained how to work all appliances and shutters thoroughly. We would certainly stay at the apartment again. I haven’t got a bad word to say about the flat.

Axel’s place was in a great location for people looking to be within walking distance of great restaurants and nice shops and bakeries. It had a good amount of space for a family. He was a great host. Very helpful and responsive. Although there is no designated parking, we were able to find street parking within a reasonable walking distance.

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

El apartamento de Angelique esta perfectamente localizado. Justo al lado de la Abadía de las Mujeres y cerca de las principales atracciones de Caen. Para explorar y conocer la ciudad no hace falta carro. Todo esta a distancia que se puede caminar. Es importante destacar que la unidad está en un 4to piso y no hay elevador. La anfitriona de Angelique es excelente, sumamente atenta y su disposición nos ayudó grandemente a resolver un problema con la renta de nuestro vehículo. Estamos más que agradecidos por toda su ayuda y por hacer de nuestra estadía una verdaderamente inolvidable. Lo único que fue inconveniente fue el estacionamiento para nuestro vehículo pues no hay un control sobre eso y fue muy complicado el poder estacionar el mismo. Deben saber que si rentan vehículo es muy posible no tengan espacio para estacionarlo. Aparte de eso, todo estuvo excelente y recomendamos este espacio para su visita a Caen y Normandía. Fuimos a MT. San Michel, Étretat y sitios del D-Day.

Ce petit studio fort bien situé est parfait pour un séjour reposant. Pour ceux n'étant pas véhiculés, les commerces et la plage à proximité sont un vrai plus. Laurence est très accueillante et serviable. Les chiens sont les bienvenus; Le mien a beaucoup apprécié les balades en bord de mer, une partie de la plage étant autorisée au chiens même en période estivale.

Nous avons séjourné le temps d'un week-end entre amis (12 personnes) à la Villa Boubou ou Philippe nous a accueilli chaleureusement et y avons passé des excellents moments. Passionné par les véhicules Américains nous avons pu échanger sur le sujet, un bon moment de partage. La chatte gardienne des lieux😉😄, est adorable et n'a pas manqué de nous accueillir et passer des moments avec nous. Équipements au Top. La Villa Boubou est une bonne alternative et bien située pour visiter musées et plages du débarquement. Petit plus, une boulangerie située à 50 mètre et un super U avec son drive et essence a 500 mètres. Nous recommandons vivement la Villa Boubou et ses hôtes Karine & Plilippe. Laurence et Christophe

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une grande gentillesse. Le logement était impeccable, confortable et parfaitement conforme à la description. Chaque petit détail témoignait du soin et de l'attention de notre hôte, rendant notre expérience encore plus agréable. Nous repartons avec de beaux souvenirs et une seule envie : revenir ! Un immense merci Adélaïde pour cette belle expérience, et à très bientôt, nous l'espérons.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Wir haben zu 6 (+Kleinkind und Hund) Weihnachten und Neujahr bei Marianne verbracht! Es ist ein schönes,gemütliches und modernes Haus mit Meerblick! Jedes Paar hat seinen eigenen Bereich inkl. Badezimmer. Der vollumzäunte Garten war super für unseren Hund und der Kamin hat die richtige Stimmung gebracht! Der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen! Mit dem Auto ist man schnell bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ist relativ schnell an allen typischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Normandie Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Wir haben das Haus so vorgefunden, wie wir es vorgestellt wurde und wie wir es erwartet haben. Der Hausteil ist gut und sympathisch eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns der Wintergarten. Hier hätte ich allerdings im Hochsommer bedenken, da eine Abschattung des Glasdaches nicht möglich war. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Stunning villa and has everything you need. The space is even nicer in person and hosts were very nice and flexible. Bring your own coffee and coffee filters though and towels :)
