Holiday rentals with beach access in Herne Bay

Loved our stay at Stacey and Damian’s. Perfect location in Cliftonville. Easily walkable to the old town, but also within reach of the lovely Walpole Bay and local shops / bars. Beautifully decorated space that was perfect for the 2 of us.

I loved my stay at Fee’s place. Fee is super welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. The space is clean, comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated & filled with homely touches. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

I had lovely few nights in Margate. The flat was in a great location, a few minutes walk from Old Town and with lots of lovely restaurants and shops nearby. I had everything I needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay and will be visiting again next time I am in Margate. Recommended!

Enjoyed our second visit with Antony and Gonzalo. Had stayed 6 weeks in 2019 and became friends with them then. Made it a point to spend 3 nights with them on this trip and it felt like old home week. Antony is very knowledgeable about architecture and grand British homes so he can offer advice on where you may be able to see historic buildings and interesting houses. We hope to visit with them again on any future trip to England.

Had the best few days in Margate! This airbnb felt so lovely and homey and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend and come back myself!

Had an enjoyable three night stay, in a very comfortable 2nd floor flat. Beds, sheets and pillows fabulous. Two large bedrooms with small en-suites. Norman was excellent in responding to any queries we had. On site parking great, near to a bus stop but didn’t use it. We walked into town down a gentle hill, but there is a large car park at the bottom of the hill, if the distance is too far, this is very close to the town. There is noise from the road outside but as long as windows closed not so bad. We live in a very quiet area so probably more noticeable for us. Heater and air con tower in each of rooms . Everything we needed was available. Whitstable lovely, nice shops, harbour nice too as is walk along boardwalk to the old Neptune. Tankerton slopes also lovely.

This is the third time we stay here and we would stay again without hesitation. The breathtaking view, lovely flat with comfy beds and clean kitchen and bathroom are unmatchable.

Just had another wonderful stay at Sea Sprite! Susan is an exceptional host who really wants her guests to have the best possible stay. The cottage is super clean and very well equipped with many basics provided. Susan has chosen very tasteful furnishings which make the cottage a really pleasant place to stay. The bed is really comfortable and plenty of towels are provided. The location is perfect - in the quiet historic part of town within a short walk of the many good restaurants, cafes and pubs in Deal. We will be back as soon as we can!

Thank you Sophie, the house felt like a home. The books, the toys, the rooms, the garden an added bonus for the little people. “but why can’t we stay longer” asked grandchild. Appreciated the earlier check in, and thank you for your flexibility and understanding with our car problems.

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. What a wonderful time we’ve just had in Rob’s beautiful beachside apartment. It certainly had the WOW factor with gorgeous furnishings, fabulous balcony and amazing views. The location was spot on, being located along the quieter end of the beach but still within easy walking distance to some cool bars and restaurants. We visited the bus cafe and beach bar with DJ set a stones throw from the property, along with the Fez bar, Bottega Caruso and the Micro brewery further into the town. The Turner Gallery, crab museum and TKE (all free) were great too. The communication with Rob and Fila was very pleasant and super efficient! We hope to return!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slip Cottage. Great communication from Steve throughout and perfect location for beach, restaurants, etc. Literally just off the main street but still quiet. Lovely touches like providing handwash and bubble bath! Lots of towels and toilet roll also. Highly recommend staying here.

The house, furnishings and equipment exceeded our expectations. We felt right at home. The house is bright, spacious, clean and very tastefully furnished. Parking in the street is no problem. Lots of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. We will definitely be back.

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Stayed at Beth's place while in Whitstable for a wedding at the castle. It was super close to the castle itself, 15 minutes or so to the main shopping streets, and 5 minutes to the beach. The house itself is really clean and has everything you could need and more. It felt very homey and I think it is actually nicer in person than in the photos! Beth was also really responsive and everything was easy and well explained. A really great stay!

A beautiful well decorated and comfortable flat with unbeatable views of the harbour. Great communication with the hosts made everything easy. Thank you for a great stay! We hope to come back soon.

We had wonderful stay at Simon and Laura’s apartment. The place was clean and felt really homely. We were able to walk into town for bars and restaurants, but there is also a few coffee shops and cafes at the end of the road which was useful. Very kind and responsive hosts. Thank you :)

We were greeted by Phil and Jenny who made us very welcome and they went through a few things with us. The accommodation was first class with a view outstanding. Everything was of good quality and the bed was comfortable. The walk in shower was great and hot. What more could anyone possibly require We will go again. Many thanks Phil and Jenny

The highlight of the apartment was certainly the beautiful view, we enjoyed watching the boats go by. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, even has vinegar if you bring some fish & chips home! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a full sized hairdryer. All very appreciated. The path in front is easy to get to Margate from, we found the path down along the beach to be less windy and more enjoyable. Tiarrah's Pizza bar is close by and does fantastic pizzas and cocktails. I slept amazingly well too. We were offered an early check-in too which allowed us to get more time on holiday. thanks!

Highly recommend Jiten and Kathryns’s place. Very good location near the old town and the flat itself is clean, well decorated and a pleasure to stay. Jiten and Kathryn were very easy and straightforward to communicate with and made our stay very relaxed.

Great apartment in great location. View one could never tire of!
