Within walking distance of shops & restaurents, whilst providing you with a peaceful base to return to, watching the waves lapping the beach.

Relax and unwind in this artist-run bohemian retreat. Tucked away in the village of Preston, surrounded by orchards, you'll enjoy a peaceful 'get-away' yet be in easy reach of local amenities and Kent's stunning coastline. The studio is blissfully quiet, set back from the cottage with its own entrance under a vine-covered pergola, with access to a large garden. Your host is happy to interact as much or as little as you like, and will gladly share the best experiences the area has to offer.

The cabin has a comfortable double bed, smart TV, Wardrobe, breakfast bar/laptop work station, several USB points, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, sink/drainer with hot & cold water A chemical toilet is provided in the cabin for night use. There’s a private toilet & a wonderful hot shower both outside (as per photos) for guest’s use. The front decked veranda adjoins an outdoor kitchen with 2 ring gas hob & brick built BBQ overlooking a large garden that has a lovely view of the sea/sunset.

Nice quiet area with fields and woodland walks nearby Keys left in door - guests can let themselves in, we are generally around if you have questions There is BBQ area and a heated pool (shared with hosts) for stays of 2 days or more. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please try to keep them off the furniture. Do not leave them unattended. Entry is via a side gate with a lockbox for key retrieval. Little William is a 1 bedroom self contained lower ground floor flat in a Georgian House, 5 minutes walk away from the beach in Herne Bay. The flat is priced on two guests sharing. The bedroom has a double bed with super comfy mattress, in a quiet rear room. Lounge/dining area with TV and sofa that converts to a bed for extra guests. (There is a charge of £10 for additional linen for the sofa bed). Kitchen, bathroom with shower and a courtyard area with table and chairs.

Beautiful bolthole near the White Cliffs of Dover

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.

We look forward to hosting you in our cosy, seaside-themed cabin set in our garden. Suitable for couples or friends as there's also a sofa bed if needed (please advise at the time of booking). (Please note we are unable to accept children under 12.) Perfect as a base for exploring the local area of Herne Bay with great trails for bikes/walks and runners. A welcome basket for a light breakfast is provided, along with teas, coffee and milk/juice.
