House holiday rentals in Hermosa Cóbano Beach

We had the best time at Richards place, and loved the location being right next to Rocobar to grab a bite to eat. The beach is amazing, we would definitely book again.

Absolutely perfect for our girls’ trip! Villa Koa was everything we hoped for and more. The house is spacious, beautifully laid out, and the beds were super comfy. The backyard and views were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and catching up. Just a heads-up: the villa is nestled in the mountains/jungle, so bugs are part of the experience—but nothing unexpected for the setting and totally manageable. You’ll definitely need a 4x4 with high clearance (we had a Suzuki Jimny and it handled the road great). The house is not walkable to town or restaurants, so having a car is a must. Special shoutout to Sophie, the concierge—she was amazing! She gave us fantastic local recommendations and helped plan some great outings. We had a brief issue with the hot water, but concierge responded immediately and maintenance got it sorted right away. Already planning our return next year—can’t wait!

Everything was amazing including the chef I hired. The massage therapist for my retreat was top notch. Marisel the house manager was top of the line! She was very responsive and took care of all of my needs for my women's retreat as well and scheduled the massages and transportation. Sergio our driver for our excursions was the best. The customer service was phenomenal. My only challenge was I scheduled a beach picnic, and the description said there was a path to the beach. This is a path right along the driveway separated by greenery (not sure why the path was even built when you can just walk down the driveway and end up in the same place and easier. This path includes about 50 steps and about 8/10 cement stepping-stones that lead to a gate, you then walk across the street to another path that's not good for elderly or anyone with knee/hip/leg challenges as it's over debris, rocks, roots, water, mud etc and at least another 1000 steps if not more (not good at distance).

Make sure you have 4x4 and book this place, you won’t regret it!!!!!!!

The setting was simply beautiful, the owners of a sympathy that has become rare these days without forgetting the quality relative to the cleanliness of the place, that is to say perfect to not exaggerate anything. Our family loved this home! Perfect place to enjoy our family vacation. Peaceful, beautiful scenery, spacious…absolutely perfect for us.

We stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful place and had a relaxing time. The pool, the jacuzzi and the big kitchen were our favorites. The best experience was the wildlife which surrounds the villa. We saw 2 different kinds of monkeys, toucans and many more animals which directly came to our backyard. We can highly recommend this place. Just make sure that you bring your own car, to get to the beach or nearby restaurants. We would definitely come back again!

We had a great time at David's place. It had everything we needed, was spacious, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the pool and the beach is within walking distance. David was proactive and helped us arrange nice dinners, had tips and was very flexible. Thanks David! We definitely recommend his place.

This is the only place we love to stay at in ST! It's perfect for our family of 5. Best things about it are the location-it is steps from the beach and our favorite beach bar Rocamar, proximity to Hermosa beach where our kids surf, and we also love the daily cleaning. We will be back!

This place exceeded my expectations in every way. It has been the best airbnb experience I’ve had thus far. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures . Great location close to everything you need beach, restaurants, stores etc . The hosts are also so helpful and kind . Jon's place is an architectural masterpiece, nestled amidst breathtaking vistas. The attention to detail will cause you to admire every nook and cranny. And Jon himself made us feel like royalty with his charm and care. The WiFi offers 200/14 Mbps, so staying connected was a breeze. The mattresses are firm and comfortable. Foodies, this kitchen is your playground, fully equipped and ready for culinary masterpieces. Excellent showers with good water pressure. An amazing swimming pool that is perfect for a refreshing dip and for watching the birds and monkeys. Because of the louvered doors, the living room had a significant mosquito presence (the bedrooms have mesh screen doors). There were some barking dogs in the neighborhood. Despite these issues, our overall experience was fantastic and we would warmly recommend staying with Jon. Local tip: check out the Blue Mist beach club. It's close by and offers a relaxed atmosphere with huge beanbags to lounge on and watch the sunset.

We had the best time staying in Santa Teresa! The town was easily accessible from Mike’s place by ATV. Mike was very responsive, the home was very beautiful and in the jungle! We saw Monkeys outside of the bathroom windows multiple days!

A beautiful stay, we were greeted by don Elkin with a refreshing lemonade and the visit of a monkey family next to the lodging. The house is fresh, has good ventilation, the kitchen and dining room near the pool are great The beds are like hotel, our nights were great. The area is very rural and there are very rich restaurants, De Raíz and Atardecer Dorado are very good recommendations Bicycles were great for our family Melissa and her team are very helpful and helpful We hope to go back

Had an amazing stay ! Location gives you a real feel of Costa Rica, she was not kidding when she said you need a 4X4 to access the property. Love the home, love the view, and love the easy communication with the host.

Pictures do not do justice to the view from this property ! Host was amazing , recommend renting ATVs , host arranged for them to be delivered for us, we loved riding them into town , to the beaches and visited Montezuma and the tide pools. We look forward to renting this property again on our next visit to the area !

Beautiful place with amazing views! Every morning we saw monkeys and beautiful birds from the terrace, and the butterflies all day. Close to cute restaurants and to the beach. We had a wonderful time!

The villa is gorgeous! We really loved it, the design is very unique with stunning view! The location is very comfortable, few minutes ride from the tide pools, and the other beaches of Mal Pais. Away from the mess of Santa Teresa, but yet close enough to visit for restaurents, beaches, and morning bakery. Judita was very nice and responsive, helped us with everything we needed. The house is really immersed in nature, as you live on a tree together with the wild life. Very unique place!

Had an insanely beautiful stay at Casa Marmara! Spent 2 weeks surrounded by beautiful nature & felt right at home. The house is STUNNING. It felt so open & relaxing with the doors that open fully & the pool right outside. Everything was spotless upon arrival and the cleaner came every 3 days! The beds were super comfortable, AC was very powerful, and had no issues the entire stay. Ricardo was super responsive and always replied quickly when we had any questions or needed recommendations! The road to the house is rough, so definitely have a 4x4 car or rent a quad in ST, but it’s the perfect mix of close to town and private/quiet. Very safe neighborhood as well! Cannot recommend this place enough, definitely coming back for another getaway in the future!!
