La casa es hermosa si cabe mucha gente, nos dejo entrar antes para prepararnos para una boda y la ubicacion fue perfecta, pero algunos electrodomesticos no funcionaban bien por ejemplo el coffee maker, el control del porton.

Our group of 2 couples stayed here for a few days. We fell in love with the place and the host. This gorgeous, peaceful hillside property has lush gardens and trout pools surrounded by forest. The house is clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Bedrooms/bathrooms offer privacy, while common kitchen/dining/living areas are inviting and practical. Steve is an exceptional host and a wonderful human being. He made sure everything was in order and that we had great coffee. His local knowledge and tips were valuable. We’re grateful fans!

Place location was very convenient and safe. Nice amenities (two pools, gym, basketball court). Location staff very helpful.

This is my 4th time staying here and I just booked my next stay in a few months! One of my favorite Airbnbs and hosts on the planet. Candy is an angel, so helpful, flexible, and responsive. And the house is everything I need and more. My favorite parts are: 1) the king room with huge bed, wrap around balcony, and amazing hot tub, 2) the waterfall installation that creates the calmest ambiance in the living room, and 3) the beautiful rooftop views of the whole city and the mountains. I’ve brought friends here and they’re wow’d every time. Cant wait to be back in October!

Our stay was great. The house was great too and as described. It’s in a quiet area with a gate it’s close to the airport and not far from San Jose. Carolina was a wonderful host providing recommendations for my family and I. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Really enjoyed this private little getaway in the city and near the airport. Walkable to a small supermarket and restaurants. Clean, comfortable bed, cozy, helpful and welcoming hosts. We were able to bring our little dog no problem. Would definitely stay again.

Un lugar muy hermoso con jardines muy relajantes en contacto con la naturaleza. Si buscan un lugar con buena ubicación cercano a muchos restaurantes pero alejado del bullicio de la ciudad y con mucha naturaleza para relajarse es el lugar indicado

Nos hospedamos en esta cabaña el fin de semana con mi familia y la experiencia fue simplemente espectacular. El lugar es demasiado lindo, rodeado de naturaleza y con una de las mejores vistas al Valle Central que hemos visto. La cabaña está muy bien equipada, todo impecable y cuidado hasta el último detalle. Se respira tranquilidad y se siente una conexión real con el entorno. Está ubicada muy cerca del Volcán Barva, lo que la hace ideal para quienes disfrutan de la montaña y el aire fresco. Sin duda, un lugar al que queremos volver. ¡100% recomendado!

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

Fui con mi esposo y unos amigos! Nos pareció espectacular el lugar! Únicamente que el lugar requiere de algunos mantenimientos tanto en el exterior como en el interior. Tenerlo en cuenta si van. Pero por lo demás, excelente localización ya que está rodeado por naturaleza, es tranquilo y silencioso. Justo lo que buscaba

Beautiful and clean appartment complex in a quiet neighbourhood of San Jose. The host was great and met us inside the gate. Highly recommended for long or short stays.

Great affordable place for full country Costa Rican experience. The house is located at the far end of the street on the left. The house was repainted blue (not orange anymore). We really enjoy our stay, we did a charcoal BBQ, walk in the small path and enjoyed the pool. Enersto received us and made a walk through around the property. We had the necessary things to cook, however, bring your cooking oil, spices and dish cloth. Each room has his own bathroom. We didnt had warm water but, it's was fines given the hot weather. Highly recommand this place and the owner!

Great view of the city lights at night. The place was very well furnished, comfortable bed and sofa. Walking distance from a great vegan diner, a Subway's, pizza and sushi . Close driving distance to a Starbucks. Very close driving distance to San Jose.

we loved this house! It got all 10 of us with plenty of space and great kitchen to cook in. Beautiful house very safe and we would totally book this place again!

great spot in between downtown San Jose and the airport. we enjoyed all that restaurants nearby and easy access to the amenities.

This was one of the most beautifull Airbnb I ever had! If you want to get in touch with nature (and yourself), you should go here. The river next to it is awesome to take a swim. We couldnt do the vanille tour, but I think its awesome that Werner opens his farm up for this! I would recommend staying longer than one night, to enjoy the place even more. Its clean, we loved it and would come back 100%. The outside shower was awesome!! We had a 4x4 and I think its easier with a car like that if you come by yourself. If you have a 4x4 you will like to arrive by day. Once you've driven it, you can easily drive it in the dark ;)
