Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. This natural gem is located north of Helsinge in the North Zealand of the Kings with views of open fields and forests. It's 200 meters to the forest where there are good chances to go on a mushroom hunt or just go for a walk in the lovely nature. It is very common for the forest animals to go right outside the windows. For example, it could be deer, deer, and red deer. You can charge your electric car with us. We have a separate electricity meter, so it settles according to the daily prices found on other public charging stations.

Unique new wooden house in wonderful nature

Blåbjerghus is a brand new well insulated wooden house. It is simple and beautifully decorated and there is just about everything you need. The nature around is simply wonderful. You can hike, run and bike straight into the woods. From the house there is a fantastic view, where you can see Roskilde Cathedral in the distance, and a few meters from the house there is a view of Roskilde Fjord. Close by is Jægerspris Castle and there is a beautiful little beach with a jetty. A peaceful place to stay
