How long it takes for payout methods to be ready

Adding a new payout method is quick and easy, but it does take a little time for the new method to be ready. While your payout method is being reviewed, it’ll show as Pending.

How long it takes for payout methods to be ready

Payout options and currencies differ by country and region. The average times for when payout methods are ready:

• Fast Pay: Ready instantly, if eligible (available for USA only)
• Pay by card: Ready instantly, if eligible
• PayPal: Up to 2 business days to be ready
• International wire: Up to 2 business days to be ready
• Western Union: Up to 2 business days to be ready, depending on the country
• Bank account: 3–5 business days to be ready
• ACH (direct deposit): 5–7 business days to be ready (available for USA and Puerto Rico only)
• Payoneer Prepaid Debit Mastercard: Generally, 2 business days for approval and 4–15 days until you get your physical card
• MLC card: 24 hours to be ready (available for Cuba only)
• VaCuba: Up to 2 business days (available for Cuba only)

What happens after your payout method is ready

Once your payout method is ready, the Pending status will be removed and you can use it to get paid. If you’ve already selected it to be your default payout method, it will now show the Default status next to it.

Setting a default payout method ensures that any upcoming payouts can be released automatically, so be sure to choose a default payout method, if you haven’t already. Once your payout method is ready, Airbnb will release any paused payouts within 24 hours, if there are no other restrictions. After the payout is released and appears in your account, the processing time may vary by payment method provider and region.
