Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Heist-aan-Zee

Het was onze eerste ervaring met AIRBNB. Alles was dik in orde. Mathias was ook heel erg vlot in zijn communicatie. Ideale uitvalbasis om ergens naartoe te trekken. Alles was op wandelafstand Restaurant, toffe cafeetje, bakker, slager, winkel.... Wij komen zeker nog eens terug

Great Bruge location. Peaceful, walkable streets. super close to the main tourist attractions but still very quiet. 3 floors (VERY steep stairs) but manageable and plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen had enough for us to make a few meals (grocery store very close by). We were spoilt with 3 toilets and a soaking tub. Wowee! We'd stay here again if coming to Brugge! Amaryllis gave great recommendations for second hand shopping and even help call us a taxi. Wonderful host!

Perfect verblijf voor gezinnen met een jong kindje. Ons zoontje heeft super hard genoten van de dieren en geleerd van de boerderij. Het huisje had alle comfort en is goed gelegen als uitgangspunt voor dagtripjes. Het was maar een weekje, maar het voelde qua beleving en ontspanning aan als een hele vakantie maand. Zeer veel deugd van gehad!

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréable! L’accueil fut chaleureux et l’hôte nous a fournit plein de bonnes recommandations pour la visite des alentours. La maison est tout simplement magnifique , parfaite pour une petite famille!

Hilde welcomed us personally in her accommodation, which is a former storefront beautifully transformed into a cozy living quarter. Every room was designed differently, but each had its own charme. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

AMAZING!! No other word to describe it! We had a fantastic stay at Annicki's place! She was very responsive and so helpful. The house was perfect! The pictures are great, but it is even better in person! The entire place is sparkly clean. The game room is fantastic, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is equipped with everything that you need. We would like to just move there! I highly recommend the stay - you won't be disappointed!

We vonden het in lief huisje zo fijn. We voelden ons gelijk thuis in het mooi ingerichte dijkhuisje. Waar we meteen merkten dat Iske goed nagedacht heeft de knusse ruimtes bruikbaar en praktisch aan te laten voelen voor een korte verblijfperiode. Alles klopt. De voortuin was ook geweldig om in te zitten met het mooie weer dat we hadden. In de fijne stoelen kijken naar wat zo nu en dan voorbij komt over de wat hoger gelegen straat. Fietsende en wandelende ‘Sasputgenoten’ leuke katten en honden met baasjes. Met vrij uitzicht over het groen aan de overkant van de straat. Meer hadden we eigenlijk niet nodig. De elektrische fietsen die we konden huren van Iske waren perfect om de omgeving te verkennen. De tip die we van haar kregen over een pad te fietsen heel dicht langs (of eigenlijk tussen) de Westerschelde door was de beste. Het water, het uitzicht, vogels, koeien, grasland. We komen zeker een keertje terug om meer van Zeeuws Vlaanderen te zien en van het huisje te genieten.

Beautiful house, very clean, modern amenities, one of the best places we've stayed. Gerda and Sigfried offered early check in, left a lot of food/snacks for us to enjoy. The house is spotless, even cooking tools and utensils appear new which is usually hard to find in Airbnb. The owners take care of the house as it was their own. The location is very quiet, a outside the center but it can be easily reached by bus or ~30min walk. Highly recommend!

Wir haben uns bei Laurent sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist lichtdurchflutet und sauber, das Auto stand sicher in der Garage und zu Fuß sind es wenige Meter bis zum Strand & Stadtzentrum. Im Garten scheint nachmittags herrliche Sonne. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, für 2 Personen sehr komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist gut, 2. Reihe vom Strand aus gesehen,mit dem Nachteil, dass der Blick auf das Meer von den schrecklichen Hochhäusern fast vollständig verdeckt ist - was wir aber so erwartet hatten. Sehr schön, dass es hier im 7. Stock zwei Balkone gibt. Vom hinteren hat man dann sogar einen schönen Ausblick auf etwas Natur und einen Teil des Ortes, der aus schönen Häusern besteht. Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr gut, freundlich und schnell. Wir hatten etwas Verwirrung mit dem Abstellen von Fahrrädern. Das kann in einer Einzelgarage, die sich im zweiten Untergeschoß eines anderen Hauses befindet, was nicht offensichtlich war. Hier hat sich meine Frau ungewollt in der Garage eingeschlossen und hat, da das Haus eigentlich momentan leersteht, sehr viel Glück gehabt, dass sie von einem Nutzer der Garagen befreit wurde. Unglücklicher Zufall, aber da sollte man vorsichtig sein (keine Abwertung dafür).

Superbe point de vue et appartement très agréable

Wij hadden een heerlijk verblijf. Ligging is top, appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, propere ruimtes,… Anton was heel bereikbaar. Wij komen zeker terug!

Mooi en gezellig appartement aan de dijk van Heist. Uitzicht op de zee en de duinen. Op wandelafstand van het strand, bars & restaurants. Isabelle is een heel vriendelijke host die zich flexibel opstelt en snel antwoord! Hier komen we graag nog eens terug!

Das Häuschen ist sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche bringt alles mit, was man braucht. Auch die Ausstattungen der Zimmer sind absolut ausreichend. Da wir nicht einheimisch waren, wussten wir nicht wie das Müllsystem funktioniert und mussten schlussendlich für den Müllbeutel noch 2 Euro bezahlen. Es wäre toll, wenn das im Rahmen der Reinigungsgebühr mit abgedeckt wird, sodass man nicht den Mehraufwand mit der Müllentsorgung hat.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal Gast in dieser Wohnung und wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Unser Urlaub war perfekt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Wir werden einen dritten Urlaub dort nicht ausschließen;)

Bruges is a very compact city,and nearly all of the key attractions are just a short stroll from the apartment. We had a bulky/heavy suitcase which made the stairs up to the apartment a bit challenging and there are no cooking facilities, but that was made clear in the description, and everything else was perfectly fine. We would happily return, and highly recommend the apartment to other couples.

Komplett eingerichtete, saubere Wohnung mit Garage (ideal für Motorräder). Es fehlt an nichts. Vom Schlafzimmer aus hat man sogar Meerblick. Der Strand ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Die Gegend ist ruhig und freundlich. Die Anweisungen sind klar und sehr hilfreich. Der kleine Hund nebenan ist sehr süß und begrüßt einen nur einmal. :) Den Müll müsst ihr am Ende selbst entsorgen. Es kostet 1 oder 2 Euro, 75l. Klare Empfehlung! Vielen Dank

The flat is super cute and located in a great location. It’s close to all central attractions with paid parking just 3 mins away as described. Also charged at the lot which was helpful with my EV. It is on a main road so can be a bit noisy, but I’d absolutely recommend this place and stay here again.

We loved our stay. Sara was very responsive. Check-in was easy, and the stairs were easy to navigate. The location is outstanding with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and retail stores. It is a very spacious apartment, and there was plenty of room for our group. We felt at home even though we stayed just 5 nights. When return to Ghent, we would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans l'appartement de Mylène. L'appartement est équipé de tout ce dont vous avez besoin et la literie dans la chambre est très confortable. La terrasse est spacieuse et la vue sur la mer magnifique. Les jours de beaux temps, c'est un pur plaisir de de profiter de cette belle terrasse. Pour les jours plus gris et venteux, on peut continuer à bénéficier de la belle vue sur la mer de l'intérieur de l'appartement. Si vous aimez regarder la mer "vivre", c'est l'endroit idéal. L'accueil de Mylène est chaleureux et elle veille à ce que votre séjour soit le plus confortable possible. Nous reviendrons très certainement!

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Es war alles super. Das Studio ist sauber, sehr schön gemütlich eingerichtet und der Ausblick auf das Meer ist traumhaft. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr ruhig, direkt am Strand und man kann einschlafen mit Meeresrauschen… wir haben es sehr genossen und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

L'appartement est très bien situé et dispose d'une superbe vue sur mer. Le logement est spacieux, lumineux, moderne et bien équipé, c'est un plaisir d'y séjourner. Bert est un hôte accueillant et très réactif.
