lovely spot for some quiet outside time. backyard is spacious and welcoming. plenty of options for seating to enjoy sun or shade. kitchen was absolutely amazing to prepare food in, well organized and nicely laid out. rooms were tidy and clean, plenty of space to sleep 6 comfortably. would highly recommend this spot

Fantastic location, stunning property. We really enjoyed our girls weekend at Jay’s. It was exactly as described and the house was beautifully designed and for the most part, very well-maintained despite being in the country. It’s not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. We had a hiccup in the beginning of our stay, but Jay is a masterclass in hospitality and used it as an opportunity to really turn things around for us. Jay is responsive and efficient and as guests we really appreciated that. We hope to be back!

Host is responsive and accommodating, place is clean, spacious and quiet. Kitchen is fully equipped to use, utensil-wise (no salt/pepper/spices). Thank you for a great, last-minute stay.

We had a lovely stay with our 3 kids. The pool was the perfect temperature and there were clear instructions on how to work everything! we enjoyed being slightly tucked away while still only being a 5-8 min drive from stores/restaurants.

Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it easy and comfortable for us to settle in. The location was great, and communication with kiki was seamless throughout our stay. She was responsive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again in the future. This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

Francis's 3 bedroom cottage on the lake/river is an excellent location to decompress, fish, canoe, kayak, mountain bike or walk the woods to see Ontario's wildlflowers. The cottage is tidy and it has everything one may need when cottaging. The cottage is a very short drive to the beautiful quaint Town of Hastings. We were able to stream the hockey game (Oilers vs Panthers) and we watch Netflix in the evening after cooking a late dinner on the campfire. There is a propane BBQ but we prefer to cook over a fire. Neighbours are quiet and friendly. If you are looking for a family vacation or an adult weekend getaway, I strongly recommend Francis's cottage- you will not be disappointed.

Is perfect too good a word? Gorgeous space with so much attention to detail. Spent most of the time in the kitchen, watching wildlife thru the floor to ceiling windows. Tatiana was super warm and responsive - especially when a storm knocked power out for a few hours. Loved the stay and we’ll definitely return!

This is our second time vising Woodfield. This is our getaway place from Toronto to enjoy the backyard in peace. Aiden is so friendly that we feel right at home. We will continue to visit in the coming years as well. HUGE thank you and cheers to Aiden!

There is a reason why Emily and The Knotted Hill have such great ratings; because they are both wonderful! The home is beautiful, spacious, and updated, along with the hot tub made it even more enjoyable (we even heard loons in the evening - just magical). And Emily was very friendly, thoughtful and helpful in all our interactions. She was happy to offer help and provided us with a great list of suggestions of how to best enjoy our short stay in PEC! Thank you Emily for helping us have a lovely time at your beautiful home!

This beautiful cottage exceeded expectations. Stayed for 10 nights, was very comfortable, spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The location is fantastic by the lake, so peaceful and only a 15 min walk to heart of town. Anne Marie was a great host, would highly recommend to anyone coming to visit Cobourg

The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!
