Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Hastings County

Karin is a great host, very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our one night stay there with our infant son. Cherry on top was delicious homemade breakfast.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in Tweed at Doug's beautiful house. Everything is really clean, and there are many things to do to enjoy. We were able to use their canoe and go fishing, and Doug had prepared a fire pit for us to roast marshmallows at dark. I would recommend to anyone how wants a nice stay out of the city, or while traveling through the area. Thank you!

Wow! Karin is a Suoer Host. Friendly, gracious and super interesting. Her place is a real B&B in her home. She greets and welcomes you and cooks you a full breakfast in the morning. The waterfront setting is spectacular and very peaceful yet close enough to Bancroft and all of its features. Very highly recommended!

Sherlyn was very helpful leading up to our stay. Very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us when we asked for an early check-in time. The space is lovely and the bedroom was clean and comfortable. The home-cooked breakfast was generous and tasty. Sherlyn and David are excellent company, friendly and easy-going. Made it feel like the home was well cared for, as were we. Will happily return to Sherlyn’s Bnb for any future visits to this serene and charming part of PEC.

Douglas place was calm and serene. Was impeccably clean. Breakfast was amazing . He and his wife were very friendly and Douglas gave wonderful tips regarding things to see in town. I was very glad to find that place with such a nice host.

Not our first time staying here. Perfect location and lots to do on the property and surrounding area. Karin is very patient and understanding of my handful of a child and was very playful and kind with them. Thank you Karin for your great hospitality

Candace and Mitch at Digory Kirke are wonderful hosts. The care and thoughtfulness put into the Bower / Blue suite created a mini retreat. The attention to detail and especially the simple yet incredible breakfast platter is stunning (served with a hard boiled egg from their chickens). They are friendly and offered suggestions that did not disappoint. The location is set in the country, north in the county and is peaceful and tranquil--easy by car to travel throughout the rest of the county. I would highly recommend staying at Digory Kirke!

We enjoyed three spectacular nights at Kings Inn, Quinte West, in late Aug. 2021. The house is gorgeously renovated in true regal style. The hosts, Candace and Pierre are wonderfully warm and gregarious and genuinely wanted to make our visit special. We chose our own time for breakfast which was a delicious gourmet experience (thanks to professionally trained Chef Pierre). We also enjoyed cooling off from the heat wave in the pool and having 24/7 access to 'The Buttery' stocked with a wide range of snacks and drinks. I highly recommend this regal B&B.

David and Jeanette were incredible hosts. We showed up quite late and were still greeted with a glass of wine. David offered great recommendations for the county. The room itself was perfect - very clean, fully stocked, comfortable. The breakfasts were also delicious! Please do note that Prince Edward County does charge an accommodations tax (implemented in 2021) that is not included in the air bnb price. We were unaware of this before coming to the county. David and Jeanette were very transparent about this fee and made the process simple!

It’ was a great experience and friendly atmosphere. We and Our dog feels like home. We definitely want to get back again soon.

Karen and George are awesome hosts. Beautiful property, scrumptious breakfasts, and wonderful company. We really enjoyed staying at the Runaway Rooster, lots of good eateries and wineries just minutes away. Karen and George gave us lots of recommendations, we absolutely adore the outdoor sculpture garden!!! We will definitely be back and are considering an extended stay so we can really unwind and enjoy the tranquility!

WOW! This was a proper bed and breakfast experience. Karen and George were so welcoming and attentive. They had great tips on local spots and were also keen to hear our feedback and experiences with local establishments. The breakfasts were phenomenal and we woke up excited to see what would be served each day - as people who don’t normally say breakfast! They were healthy and filling, but not heavy so they set you up wonderfully for a day of exploring the county. The house and property are absolutely gorgeous and were even better than the photos. We stayed in the Roost (room with en suite) and we didn’t even get a chance to use the nice balcony - a long weekend wasn’t enough time to fully enjoy their space. The central location was a great home base, with the beach, wineries and restaurants all within a short drive. Highly recommend choosing Runaway Rooster for your PEC trip. We were treated like family and were truly sad to go when check out time came around.

Absolutely perfect! The room and bathroom are beautifully decorated and sparkling clean (actually the entire house is)! Breakfast is like eating at a gourmet brunch spot. Eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes are just a few of the delicious things we had. Karen and George are wonderful hosts and full of excellent recommendations. 10/10 would stay again!

Thank you very much for the perfect stay! We were one of the first guests and hesitated to book an Airbnb without any evaluations. Luckily we did nevertheless. The direct lake view and access was stunning. Julie paid attention to every detail and even more. For example bathing salt and charging for smartphone and even watch were available. Our highlight was the gazebo and view of the sunsut. Hopefully one of our next holidays will lead us to sandbanks again.

Juliana is a wonderful host. She is extremely kind and accommodating and very helpful with everything. Her home is warm, well kept and very comfortable. He breakfast was above and beyond expectation. Everything was home cooked with love and attention to detail and was super delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Juliana's lovely home. Thanks for everything.
