Holiday rentals in Hästängsudd

Very important to have a car. It was an easy drive from ARN airport. Lena gave us recommendations for food shopping along the route, so we arrived ready to relax. Lena and John (and Mark) were all helpful and friendly. Cabin is clean and cozy. Lena helped with an extra request. Of the different ways to get to Stockholm, we chose to drive to Täby Centrum and ride the light rail service. At Taby Centrum, there is a large mall with two supermarkets and a liquor store. Shopping and transit combined. Pay parking to use transit, two hours free underground parking while shopping. Parking at the cabin is great: the closest we have ever had to an AirBnB. If ever back in the same area, we would stay again.

Our family had a wonderful one-week stay at Daniel and Malin’s house - the perfect home with the perfect hosts. The house and property are stunning - just as beautiful as in the photos. Everything inside the house was very well-appointed and in great shape - comfortable and clean bedrooms, great kitchen, lovely bathrooms, great electronics (WiFi, smart tv, Sonos home audio). The terrace and outside areas were great and we had numerous meals and family gatherings outside. The area is so tranquil and beautiful, with the stunningly beautiful lake only an eight minute walk away. We even spotted deers in the garden in the evening. Daniel was the perfect host - very helpful and responsive, and very generous in sharing everything their home had to offer, including their son’s toys and books, which my four year old son just loved. We’re already planning another stay here next summer, and cannot recommend this home and host highly enough!

3.Aufenthalt bei Magnus- immer wieder ein Genuss. Keine Frage bleibt unbeantwortet, blitzschnelle Lösungen für einfach alles. Das war nicht das letzte mal. Sei es noch zusätzlicher Tee, Äpfel aus dem Garten, egal - Magnus ist immer da - ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Dieses Mal zusammen mit meiner Frau für das Wochenende da. Es hat Spaß gemacht und war entspannend. Spaziergänge zum nahen Strand, prima Restaurant am Strand, herrliche Umgebung, parken direkt vor dem Haus…alles gut.

Chalet très mignon, cosy et chaleureux. L’emplacement est parfait, l’environnement magnifique, les couchers de soleil étaient splendides. Nous avons même vu une aurore boréale 🤩 Tout était parfait et nous avons passé un excellent séjour!

Nous avons fini notre voyage de 15j en Suède de la plus belle des manières avec cette petite semaine chez Jan. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis à l'aise dans la maison, que ce soit les adultes ou notre fille de 3 ans. Le calme est parfait, la maison excellement équipée et les petites attentions de Jan complètent ce tableau idyllique. Petit bonus, la barque prêtée par Jan (avec gilets de sauvetage dans de multiples tailles) permet des promenades et même des parties de pêche (là aussi, équipement fourni)! Nous étions véhiculés, mais la proximité du terminus de bus permet de rejoindre soit le petit supermarché en 5min ou l'embarcadère de Vaxholm en 30min moyennant une correspondance. Le calme est absolu, et les biches visitent le jardin (immense!) matin et soir. Pour couronner le tout, Jan est un hôte accueillant et présent sans être envahissant, l'un des tous meilleurs de nos expériences Airbnb et autres. Il a rendu notre séjour inoubliable!

Vi hade ett helt fantastisk dygn i Marias stuga, som ligger bara några meter från vattnet. Härlig bastu och mysigt sovrum med skön säng och helt underbara täcken! Stor altan utanför med grill och bra sittplatser. Fridfull och vackeromgivning med härliga gångstigar. Inga bilar! Mycket trevlig och välkomnande värd! Tack! ♥️

This is a fantastic place. If you like simplicity and peace by the water. The hosts were very generous and excellent. If you like Swedish stuga simplicity and charm by the water (and yet still close to Stockholm by car) this place is for you. We completely fell in love with the place.

We came right before the season began, so things were extra quiet! The host met us at the bus stop which was a short walk away and VERY easy to navigate. He was so helpful when we wanted to go explore other islands and if something wasn’t in the rental space he got it for us! Also, I wish the states took note of FLOATING SAUNAS!!! That was such a dream!
