Brandi and Steven are EXCELLENT hosts. Their place actually was more beautiful than the pictures. It was beautiful lit with lamps everywhere, the aircon was already running (which was essential due to the humidity of East Texas!), and it SMELLED AMAZING. I don’t know how she got it to smell so good, but it made a big first impression upon entering the home. The place was extremely well-stocked, tons of rags and towels and lotions and soaps, tooth brushes and deodorants and toothpaste, just everything you could need! And Brandi and Steven themselves were the highlight! They are SO accommodating and welcoming and humble. They let us walk through their yard to get to the dock and use their kayaks, and Lake Caddo is truly magical. You can tell they LOVE this place and want to share it with others. We are already planning another trip back in the winter!

We visit every year and are always so happy with our stay. It’s a great home with comfy beds, gorgeous surroundings, and all the things we need for a fantastic family vacation!

This was our first little family vacation for our blended family. It was absolutely the best and absolutely beautiful place we chose from. There was plenty of beds for a family of 6, 4 teens and 2 adults, couch space, and dining. The teens LOVED the slide on the side to use instead of the stairs! It's close enough for little day trips to Lindale and Jefferson; and the bait store was a short 10min drive. We would definitely chose this place again every time. We'd give this place 5+ stars if we could!

Tammie was one of the most gracious hosts I have encountered. she was very helpful and flexible. she even helped my friends with a place to stay as well! Grade A 100% class act!

Perfect place to stay for the Mud Run 2025. Very close to the public boat ramp to launch the boats and keep at the house. The inside was very well clean for our two babies. Overall would recommend to stay again.

This house was so beautiful and very well taken care of. The back porch is perfect for quiet morning coffee with a beautiful view. We had such a wonderful time. Our host was wonderful and took such great care of us and took time out of his busy schedule to make sure we were comfortable and settled in. I highly recommend.

Rented out for my work crew and it was spacious and comfortable. Very close to my job site so it was convenient for us. Would highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay! The cabin was clean, quiet, and perfectly equipped—especially the air conditioners, which kept us cool during the hot Texas summer. One of the highlights was being able to fish right out of the backyard—such a treat! We also got to visit with some incredibly kind neighbors, which made the experience even better. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing week. Highly recommend! As a side note: we heard from the neighbors that the guests before us had packed 8 college students and 5 cars into this tiny cabin—yikes! That explains the unfair 1-star review we saw. Don’t let it fool you—this is a tight-knit community of wonderful locals, and our experience was nothing short of amazing.

It was a great place to stay. We came down from Mississippi for a weekend of fishing. Cypress View was spotless. Very close to the public boat ramp. Very well kept home. Highly recommend

Caitlin’s place was perfect for us. I needed to be close to the Caddo/Dallas clubhouse to be able to spread my mom’s ashes. After we had the ceremony, it was a nice peaceful place to rest and reflect on the day. She had everything we needed, including mosquito spray and sunscreen. The bonus was the lake and a cafe was right across the street.

Keith’s home is a hidden gem and we are glad we could stay at this beautiful lake facing property. It’s walkable distance from boat tours and to the lake. The home was well stacked and tidy. Keith was very responsive as a host and considerate with our last minute ask.

Great location near the water where we were able to launch our canoe for a little paddling and fishing. Place was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much.

This was such a fun place to stay that provided enough room for our big family. Teresa is a kind and generous host. She communicated quickly and well with us. We would stay here again- loved the town of Jefferson!

We had a great 2-night stay at Kelly and Shelley’s place! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and there were plenty of thoughtful touches throughout the house. this little house was perfect for our wedding anniversary weekend! we brought our boat and had the absolute best time at Caddo Lake!! Jennifer was super helpful and checked in on us! :) The king size bed was soooo comfy!! the neighborhood also felt very save and the boat ramp was super easy to get in and out of, and the dock was just across the street. the best part was the location!! short little boat ride to see the beautiful Government Ditch and hang out at The Cathedral!

Location location location! If you are there to take your boat out on Caddo Lake, the location on the water is ideal! Just minutes from a public boat ramp. A short ride across the lake to Johnson’s Marina! The perfect combo of lake life with creature comforts

April is very responsive and helpful if needed during your stay which is always appreciated. The view of the lake is gorgeous and yard space in back is great for little ones. We enjoyed our little getaway and always enjoy April's places to stay.

My stay here was incredible; the home and the property was secluded and peaceful. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who needs to get away from everything!!

Our friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Whiskey Barrel! The house was beautiful, super clean and had all that we needed! We took this trip so we could all “escape.” We definitely did that! We didn’t leave the property one time! This house checked all the boxes for us. There was so much to do to keep entertained. Pickle ball, kayaking, fishing, hot tub, darts, smart TV’s kept us entertained for our weekend. We brought our pups with us and it was nice that the front yard was fully fenced. If you are bringing pups, they will have to stay in the front yard (that is the only area fully fenced.) Perfect getaway house with everything you will need. Jennifer is a wonderful host and was super responsive! She even checked on us several times throughout our stay. Can’t wait to return!
