Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hardangerfjord

We agreed that Marta's accommodation was clearly the most beautiful on our 3-week trip to Norway. As other guests have already written, the view from the apartment of the fjord and the glacier was breathtaking and even more beautiful than in the photos. Marta was a very nice and very accommodating hostess. The furnishings in the apartment and kitchen left nothing to be desired. And also for my wife, who unfortunately fell ill shortly before, there could not have been a better place, as there were enough retreat options and she could recover quickly. Our son also loved the space and the toys in the apartment. The area in Hardanger is incredibly beautiful anyway and from there you can reach an incredible amount of beautiful nature within 45 minutes. We would come back anytime and thank Marta and her husband Mekjell very much for their hospitality.

Rosendal, the nature, the mountains, the culture, the weather. Everything was wonderful. The courthouse, Anita and Dag and the swimming area as well. We had a brilliant long weekend and didn't miss anything. We gladly came back...

Such a lovely little house! Everything was just so, and we were as cozy as could be. Don't shrug off the mentions of the steep and narrow stairs inside the house -- they really are as described! We walked to the place from the light rail stop with our luggage, and it was about a 15-minute walk, mostly uphill. It was manageable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Definitely one of my most beautiful rented homes on Airbnb. The house is decorated with care, feet in the water, calm, kindness of Torstein and Ida. We are the opposite of the anonymous key boxes that are multiplying everywhere. I would recommend it 100%

The house is very modernly renovated and beautifully and stylishly furnished. We felt comfortable there. The bed was super comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The location by the lake was super quiet and perfect for switching off. We liked it there, but the house could use a little love in one place or another. Communication with Benjamin was great and he responded quickly to questions.

We had the pleasure to spend a wonderful long weekend in Hardanger at Gro and Øystein's magnificent place. I can highly recommend it to everyone and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Eve's beautiful house! The property was clean and offered breathtaking views that made every morning special. Eve was an excellent host with fantastic communication throughout our stay, providing helpful tips about the local area that really enhanced our experience. The location is truly exceptional, with countless options for activities and places to explore nearby. The highlight of our trip was spotting small whales during breakfast - what an incredible and unexpected treat! The house itself is great and perfectly situated to take advantage of both the scenic surroundings and all the region has to offer. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. You feel yourself surrounded by a long waterfall with its beautiful water ambience and snow capped mountains. There is a breeze whose freshness is immediately felt once you open your lungs for it. The cabin is noise proof. Bathrooms are in top condition and kitchen is well equipped. Beds are very comfortable and we never felt tired after waking up daily. Highly recommended place if your target destinations are Odda Tyssedal Rodal

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town to hike Trolltunga and this place was conveniently located right at the turn off the main street towards the trailhead, about 13 minutes. The host was very communicative and responsive and had local recommendations for us. Everything was great and we would stay here again. Thank you!

Gunlaug‘s place is super cozy with everything you need! It has super beautiful view outside the window. We would love to stay a bit longer but got other plans. Gunlaug is super friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend it!

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

Gunnar and Reidun's house is in my top 3 Airbnbs I've been able to discover. The value for money is great, the house is great, the view is just amazing. And they were extremely flexible and understanding with our constraints, thanks to them!

The star of the show is the location. I dare to say: one of the most beautiful fjords we’ve seen. Maybe even one of the most beautiful spots we’ve ever seen. The town feels like time stood still and you have the fjord to yourself. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I would 100% recommend to stay here to check out the Geilo area.

The place is beautifully located, with a spectacular view on the fjord. The apartment is very nice, well maintained and super clean. We had everything we needed, the only suggestion is to include an hairdryer if possible. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed a lot our stay! Thank you :)

The photos can’t capture the beauty that’s right outside your window when you stay here! The space itself was beautiful. Anna was so thoughtful and kind and made great recommendations while not being intrusive at all. Just the absolute best and definitely a highlight of our Scandinavian tour! You can walk up to the waterfall you can see right out the back door and I highly recommend doing so! There are so many places around the area to see and so many tours out of Flam. I recommend the floating sauna experience. This was the perfect countryside break after visiting Scandinavian cities. Loved it!

Great little apartment with good views, nicely located in relation to the ski lift. Possible to walk to the cover, but can quickly get a little sweaty from the walk😅 The apartment had everything we as a party of 3 adults could need. Recommended further!

This is a beautiful small apartment that is perfect for 1-2 people. It was spotless and well equipped. The location was perfect. Everything you could need is close by and the parking garage we used was behind the apartment and easy to access. Great experience.
