Alone In The Woods With Your Own River Nearby

The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. The apartment is located 3.5 km from the center of Balestrand, where there are shops, an aquarium, museum and cool cafes. From Balestrand you can travel with speed boat to Bergen. We offer plenty of space in our garden, relax on the bench located on the "rock" with a view of the fjord and the neighboring village. Do you want to barbecue? There's a steep path up to the cabin that takes about 10 minutes. Please bring linens and towels. Bring your own firewood and you wash the cabin yourself. Originally built in 1792, this Pocket House was once named "Smallest House in Bergen" by the local media. Situated in calm Sandviken the city center is a 5 minute bus ride or a 10 minute bike ride away. The nearest bus stop is a short 2 minute walk, and there is also a city bike parking spot practically right outside the house. Whether you want to experience Bergen by sea or Bergen by mountain this house is well situated to accommodate both.

The cabin is located at Krokeide in Fana, only 30 min. to the center of Bergen, and 15 min. to Lagunen, which is one of Norway's largest shopping centres. It is 15 min. to Bergen Airport.
