This is a wonderful little place. The views are amazing and we had a relaxing and peaceful stay. Elin was amazing and the fresh eggs which she gifted us, were the best we’ve ever had. We are very grateful and enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay here - we booked for two days and would have happily stayed for a week. The farm is beautiful, Helin is quiet and stunning and full of friendly farm animals, and Eli and her family made us feel at home leaving out toys for our little one and letting us play with their pigs. We’ll be back ❤️

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

Had a great stay in the cabin over a weekend. Just a few minutes' drive from Mikkelparken, which was the main destination of our trip to Kinsarvik. The cabin is idyllically located among the apple orchards, and I had some quiet moments with fishing down by the fjord, while our boys had fun rolling down the hill and jumping on the trampoline that was available to us. Beautiful cottage and surroundings – highly recommended!

The house is warm and offers breathtaking views. It is well-equipped with everything we needed, and the location is just a 10-minute drive from Trolltunga and close to Odda. Our host, Airin, provided us with a warm welcome and was very responsive to our needs throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the four days we spent here and hope to visit again in the future.

When we left Marit's home, we all felt a little emotional. The trip had been such a great time of rest and adventure, and the place felt like home. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home, which saved a lot of money, and we were also able to do laundry, which was incredibly helpful since we had packed very small bags. It would be impossible to describe how beautiful the home and surrounding countryside is - I live in a farming town in the mountains and it's hard to impress me with natural beauty, but Vik took our breath away. We listened to the bells of the sheep every morning and evening and hiked in the mountains above the rental. We watched local people play soccer and children go to school and boats come and go. We drove to Flam (beautiful, but Vik is 1000% more lovely), took a ferry to Balestrand (worth it), and fell in love with the drive over the tundra above Vik. Marit was a perfect, warm, kind, lovely host and we can't recommend the rental enough. We miss it already.

We stayed at Ole's house for two nights as a family. It was fairly convenient for us to explore nearby tourist attractions. House offers all you expect and some more. Feels cozy to have a warm stove while resting in the evenings.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Comfortable, stunning views, and unique. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, and to use as a base for great hiking nearby. Nils was very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in this house, right in the middle of nature. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our meals, and the cozy atmosphere made our evenings especially enjoyable. The heat pump kept the place warm and comfortable, which was a great plus. Overall, a great spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Absolutely amazing accommodation, in the middle of the mountains, by the lake, on a farm among animals. The house was big, beautifully renovated and everything was perfectly prepared, comfortable and clean. Zofia is very nice and communicative. It was a pity that we were only passing through and could only stay one night, maybe we will come back sometime.🙏 Thanx a lot, maybe nextime. 🥰

Nice cozy place for a family. Walking distance to Flam Central

From start to finish, our experience was absolutely perfect. The place was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great recommendations and making check-in a breeze. It’s clear they really care about their guests' experience. We truly felt at home and will definitely be booking again if we’re ever back in this area. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

You feel right at home in Kristin and Morten's cottage. It is very cozy and nothing is missing. The underfloor heating in the bathroom, the hallway and the lower bedroom was quickly very warm and the living room can be heated very well with the stove in the shortest possible time (our daytime temperatures were below and around 10° in May). Firewood is free and you can also charge the e-car for free if you have an adapter for a 230 volt household socket. Both are really very nice gestures! Kristin responds very quickly and Morten was always patiently available for our many questions. The cat and the chickens, which roam freely, also gave us a lot of joy. The location is perfect for endless possibilities for day trips from Voss to Odda and Bergen. We hope to have the pleasure of spending some time on your farm again! Thanks for a great week.

This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

Trygve was lovely! The house we stayed in was spacious, beautiful, and cozy! The walk around the property was so wonderful and peaceful. Tryge was so kind and friendly to us when he showed us around his family farm. We hope to return soon. Highly recommended visiting!

Although we only spent one night at the accommodation, we took a lovely walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Sunniva welcomed us with a warm and cozy home — the fireplace was already crackling when we arrived, filled with freshly added firewood. She even showed us a newborn lamb, which was such a special experience. The place has a very charming and inviting atmosphere.

This was such a peaceful place with a stunning view. We couldn’t have stayed at a better home.

What a lovely stay! The farm is so peaceful. We went with friends and our 13 month old daughter who loved seeing the sheep, and running around the yard. The place was fantastic for kids (high chair, crib, toys). We had the best time walking around the property, cooking delicious food, going in the hot tub and we even took the boat out for a special trip! There’s a sauna 10 minutes down the road which was a treat. Easy 1 hour drive from Bergen. Highly recommend!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

Very nice place. Absolutely perfect for families with children, with a lot to find for small and large persons. Lovely and sheltered space, quiet and quiet. Very nice play and helpful hosts. We'd love to come back!

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!
