What a lovely stay! The farm is so peaceful. We went with friends and our 13 month old daughter who loved seeing the sheep, and running around the yard. The place was fantastic for kids (high chair, crib, toys). We had the best time walking around the property, cooking delicious food, going in the hot tub and we even took the boat out for a special trip! There’s a sauna 10 minutes down the road which was a treat. Easy 1 hour drive from Bergen. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten wunderbare, entspannte und sehr erholsame Tage in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus. Die Realität übertrifft noch die Beschreibung und die Bilder. In den Tagen unseres Aufenthalts hat es leider sehr viel geregnet aber dem Regen über dem Fjord vom Wohnzimmer aus zu zuschauen war wirklich sehr entspannend. Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen und hält alles für einen tollen Urlaub bereit. Die Lage und die Aussicht auf den Fjord ist einfach traumhaft, fantastisch und wunderschön. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

Ein tolles Haus mit ganz besonderer Lage. Mit einer überdurchschnittlichen innen Ausstattung. Eine unglaubliche Aussicht. Und die Nähe zum Wasser ist unschlagbar. Einziges Manko ist der Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Ausparken ist recht schwierig da es direkt an einer Straße mit 80 Zone liegt. Und die sicht durch einen Felsen eingeschränkt ist. Das Boot ist okay und preislich günstig. Aber leider ist das Boot bei Ebbe nur über eine Leiter erreichbar die über dem Wasser Hängt. Und zu einem sehr wackeligen schmalen schwimmsteg führt. Für ältere Menschen oder Kinder nicht geeignet. Hervorzuheben ist noch die Kommunikation mit Hans. Ein wirklich engagierter Vermieter der sich gut um seine Gäste kümmert.

I had a wonderful stay at Jarle's home. The location is absolutely fantastic, nestled in a peaceful spot with breathtaking views of the fjords and surrounding mountains. It truly felt like an escape into nature. Getting there was a breeze thanks to the detailed instructions provided by the host, which made the whole experience stress-free from the start. The house itself was cozy and very well equipped – everything we needed was right there, making it feel like a true home away from home. Jarle was exceptionally kind and attentive, always just a message away if I had a question. It is clear he and his wife genuinely care about their guests' comfort and experience. That said, the place does have a lived-in feel, so if you're looking for a more impersonal or hotel-like stay, this might not be the perfect fit. But if you appreciate character, comfort, and a sense of being welcomed into someone’s home, you’ll love it here. Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Direkte Lage am Wasser mit riesigen Panoramafenstern - da kann man auch bei schlechtem Wetter auf den Fjord schauen. Bjarnes Haus ist großartig; viel Platz, mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht, eine tolle Küche, zwei sehr gemütlichen Sesseln für den entspannten Blick aufs Wasser und vor allem dem Whirlpool als echtes Highlight! Dass es hier ruhig ist, war zu erwarten, da es etwas außerhalb in einer friedlichen Ferienhaussiedlung liegt. In direkter Umgebung sind schöne Wanderungen durch die Natur Norwegens möglich. Bjarne war ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war schnell, freundlich und hilfreich. Ein Problem mit dem Gasgrill hat er direkt gelöst und diesen repariert. Wir haben uns wohl bei Bjarne gefühlt!

This was a perfect location and Frank was the perfect host. From the moment I contacted Frank he was always responsive answering my many questions about the area. He communicated regularly and his check in instructions were extremely clear. We arrived earlier than the arrival time and Frank allowed us to check in early. He even met us there and took the time to review the map of the area and make suggestions. We were so well taken care of. I don't think I have ever had a host go so above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The apartment is very spacious and is exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable and the area is very quiet even though it is close to everything. There are many restaurants and coffee shops conveniently located near by. The apartment is not only close to town, but also convenient to the Floyen Funicular and the hiking trails in that area which is a prime location. Frank and his Air B and B made our vacation in Bergen perfect.

Dette er andre gongen vi overnattar hjå Eldbjørg, og det er alltid like triveleg. Fin og roleg plass, med fantastisk utsikt. Reint, gode senger og god kommunikasjon både i forkant og under opphaldet. Takk for oss!

På en god sommerdag skal man lete lenge etter et mer idyllisk sted!

Die Hütte von Eli ist wirklich toll. Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage. Die Umgebung ist spektakulär, man kann tolle Bergtouren unternehmen. Elis Mann hast uns sehr gute Tourentipps gegeben. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Holzofen macht es schön warm. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Abschalten und um das echte Norwegen zu entdecken. Ich würde sehr gerne wiederkommen.

we hebben villa tippetue vlot gevonden, heel mooi gelegen met zicht op het Sognefjord. we moesten inderdaad eerst door een stukje bos van ongeveer 70m. helaas niet veel geluk met het weer, we hebben elke dag wel een beetje zon gezien. het huisje heeft een heel mooi terras met zicht op het fjord en een gezellige woonkamer. er waren kaarten aanwezig voor wandelingen in de buurt , ook gedetailleerde geplastificeerde kaarten . helaas was het heel lokaal deel niet aanwezig, waarschijnlijk per ongeluk meegenomen door een vorige bezoeker. we hebben de noorse kaarten app gedownload Norgeskart. de wandeling stupet naveset tronvik - op de flank daar - is ook goed aangegeven . er is een laddertje en een gedeelte waar touwen de afdaling assisteren (onze hond kon vlot zijn eigen weg errond zoeken). de ondergrond was nog goed nat en soms glad (begin juni) in hoyanger ook mooi wandelen. naar flam is het een dikke 3h rijden. aan te raden!

We loved the opportunity to stay in an authentic Norwegian cabin that was at least 250 years old. From outside it looks like a modest cabin but opens to a spacious and warm living room and dining area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is a good shower. The two upstairs bedrooms, one opens to the kitchen, had great views of the mountains and very comfortable beds. Great venue to visit Flam, Borgund and Urnes Stave churches or to hike. The farmers market at Laerdal was excellent.

Marta’s apartment was great for a couple of nights in Voss. The space was comfy and bigger than expected and we particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We would happily stay here again!

Et utrolig sjarmerende sted hvor vi fant roen med nydelig natur og flotte omgivelser. Masse kjekke ting for både store og små. Anbefales på det varmeste, vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders das Schwimmbad hatte es unseren Kindern angetan. Es war wenig besucht in dem Zeitraum, wo wir da waren.

Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold! ·      Den storslåtte utsikten over fjorden og Sandholmane var en fryd å våkne opp til hver dag. Huset ligger idyllisk til i et uforstyrret hjørne av en stor park, noe som virkelig bidro til en rolig og avslappende atmosfære. ·      Leiligheten var både romslig og ren, med et interiør som forteller en spennende historie. Vi satte stor pris på hvor godt utstyrt alt var, noe som gjorde oppholdet vårt enda mer komfortabelt. ·      For de som verdsetter en god natts søvn, er dette stedet en sann oase. Sengene er komfortable, kombinert med den fredelige beliggenheten, omgitt av natur, skaper det perfekte forhold for en dyp og uforstyrret søvn. Ingen støy fra trafikk eller byens lyder, bare den rolige susing fra naturen rundt. ·      Svømmebassenget og badstuen med utsikt var høydepunkter for oss. Det var en glede å kunne slappe av og nyte disse fasilitetene i slike vakre omgivelser. Som alle skjønner, de besta anbefalinger – et helt spesielt sted!

Beautiful house and garden. We stayed with our one year old son. He loved the pool, trampoline, raspberries… The house is well equipped and everything works very well. There are some animals (cows, pigs, ostriches, llamas, etc.), nearby on the track towards panorama hotel, which is also fun. We had a great time :)

Kjempe fin leilighet og perfekt sted for personer med små barn!

We very much liked this apartment we shared with 2 families and a dog. Each family had it's own floor with 2 separate bedrooms and bathroom with the middle floor used as living/dining and kitchen with a small outside patio. The swimming pool next to the reception is a nice addition when you have kids. Furthermore, the indoor parking garages with free spaces connected to the second entrance of your apartment is nice, as well as the charging facility for your electric car (not free). Geilo is nice in summer, but this spot must be great during the winter season located next to the slopes and ski elevators.

The stay at Ina's was pleasant. She is easy to reach and was very friendly. The location of the apartment was great, and you can go on beautiful hikes!

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.

Wir waren mit 4 erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern im Foreneset. Sehr schöne Häuser mit Pool, was vor allem bei schlechtem Wetter für die Kids super ist. Angeln ist dort auch gut. Makrelen kann man vom Steg füttern und natürlich auch fangen. Bei uns war Ende August der ganze Hafen voll. Wer größer Fische will kann vor der Insel Ombo zwischen 50 und 100 Metern gut angeln. War nur 2x kurz da aber konnte große Pollack, Schellfische, viele größere Leng, mehrere Flügelbutt und einen 90iger Dorsch und einen Seehecht mit Naturködern fangen. Insgesamt ca 15KG Filet in 7 Stunden. Allerdings ist das Angeln dort nicht einfach und viele kamen mit der Strömung/Drift nicht klar. Die Boote der Anlage sind auch gut. Wanderungen haben wir direkt im Ort nur eine gefunden, sonst muss man etwas fahren. Mit dem Boot kann man auch tolle Ausflüge machen und auch zum einkaufen fahren. Shopping/ Großstadt sind von Foreneset mit längeren Fahrten verbunden
