A stunning place with breathtaking views of the hardanger fjord and an ideal location by the water. We spent four wonderful days fishing, hiking and relaxing in the very peaceful garden. Jan is a truly kind and attentive host, always available to help and answer our questions. Fresh flowers and a bottle of local cider were waiting for us and made us feel instantly at home. A fantastic experience – Highly recommended! We do hope to have the opportunity to return soon!

On a good summer day, you will have to search for a more idyllic place!

We stayed at the cabin for a few days with our two huskies during my work trip recently and we had absolutely the loveliest time! The cabin is incredibly cozy, clean and inviting, pictures do not do it justice honestly. I was definitely impressed by its coziness and overall feeling of the interior. The cabin is situated on a mountain but conveniently close to the main road where we parked our car, yet you can't hear any noises from the road once you're in the cabin. The nature around is very very peaceful. Communication with Geir was easy and effortless, he answered all of our questions super fast and we felt taken care of. We will definitely want to come back again!

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view. We were lucky to have some very good weather and so we made use of the outdoor area which was well equipped with furniture and barbecue equipment. The house was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Kari’s place is fantastic and so relaxing!! We loved having a great kitchen with everything you would need to create some home cooked meals! Being on the water was amazing with beautiful views and so quiet. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right, nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was facing the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well equipped for our holiday needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked great, but it is certainly not to everyone's taste. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is absolutely recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim

Beautiful stay in "Havgløtt" - so quiet and peaceful to be close to the sea. Enchanting steep rocks surround the cabin, and you can feel the history here. I swam every day even though the water was freezing. My dog loved it here, too! She hardly wanted to come inside. The cabin is old-fashioned in a cozy way - this time of year (March) it's good to keep the fire going to stay warm. Christian is a wonderful host, ready to help with any question or request you might have.

It does not have easy access because you have to walk from the parking, but the instructions were very clear with photos of everything. It was so easy to access like this. Everything is clean and complies with everything it advertises. Responds quickly. Beautiful place!

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

We have never received a warmer welcome in an Airbnb home. There were personal greetings and surprises for everyone and a well-equipped house. The host was friendly and flexible with check-out. Everything was idyllic and cozy. Bjørn Harry is worthy of the superhost title. We hope to return.

The stay at May‘s place was fantastic. Stunning views, awesome house, great communication with the host. One of the best equipped accommodations I have ever stayed at. Lovely interior, spectacular outside and the bot house is a true gem. We had a great time and can highly recommend.

During our camping trip we took shelter in this home during a rainy day and one night. It’s a fantastic, small, cosy cottage so it was great to have a day inside in this house. The view is amazing and we saw a beautiful rainbow over the fjord. I can imagine that if the weather is nice that you can enjoy sitting in the garden.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

This was our second time staying here and Aleksander has upgraded with a sauna and the outdoor area as well. Lovely place, quiet, everything works great, and close enough to several ski centers and other attractions with plenty to do. The perfect place to disconnect!

After crossing the forest in 30 minutes, we finally arrived at Villa Vannes. We had a great time in Hilde's tiny house, timeless. The location is just amazing, on the edge of a beautiful fjord where we could even see a whale! Everything is done to feel at your best, surrounded by nature. We were able to enjoy ax throwing, a very good dinner and breakfast concocted by Hilde. Hilde is a very pleasant and responsive host. We enjoyed sharing with her. We highly recommend it if you're looking for an extraordinary experience in Norwegian nature!

I summary, it was clean, great location and an amazing apartment to hang out in and enjoy the view of the fjord and surrounding mountains. It was a great location to stay for a visiting Salmon Eye as well, as it is a 2min walk down the stairs to the meeting point for the boat. Main bed was very soft. If you like soft beds, this is great. For me preferring a firmer mattress, this was not ideal. Also there is no microwave, so if this is something you need in your routine, just take note.

This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

Just the most magical place to stay. The views from the house were even better than the photos. Lots of games for the kids. Plenty of space. We were blessed with sunshine throughout our stay and we were sunbathing outside in early April. Hired Lars' boat for an unforgettable sail around the fjord. Possibly the most stunning view of any airbnb I've ever stayed in. Situated near to the lovely Eidfjord village, but also within 1-2 hours drive of major sights.

A Perfect Stay in a Fantastic Location! We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Anne's Airbnb. The location is unbeatable—right next to the fish market, with e-scooters readily available all around. The flat itself is incredibly spacious, offering all the amenities we could possibly need. A particularly thoughtful touch was the friendly neighbor who went out of their way to assist us. The large, airy balcony was a highlight, providing stunning views of the harbor, with ships and ferries gliding past—truly mesmerizing! Transportation was a breeze, with easy access to taxis, buses, and train connections. The flat itself was huge and extremely comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved every moment and will undoubtedly be returning. Thank you, Anne, for a super awesome stay!

We had the pleasure to spend a wonderful long weekend in Hardanger at Gro and Øystein's magnificent place. I can highly recommend it to everyone and would definitely come back!

Nice peaceful place with the water just in front of the boathouse door. You stay above the boathouse and can see the trains and the cars go by. Rustic and cozy. Portable chemical toilet and shower with river water.
