The Nissen

Set in the majestic rolling granite hills of Harcourt North our views will captivate you, from amazing sunsets to star filled skies. A perfectly positioned location between Bendigo, Castlemaine and Maldon, your base to explore the attractions Central Victoria has to offer, including great local wineries & artisan goods. Our area is home to an abundance of nature, from kangaroos to echidnas to wombats.

Situated in the foothills of Mt Alexander, Blue Devil Cottage is the quaint original Victorian farmhouse of Hillside Acres farm. It is an ideal place for both the energetic and those wishing for a more relaxing holiday. We welcome kids and can get them & you involved in collecting eggs or feeding animals (depending on availability). For mountain bikers, you can ride through our back paddocks directly onto La Larr Ba Gauwa Mountain bike park or it’s just 2km along the road to the trailhead.

Central to the Goldfields Region, this cozy, detached bungalow provides a private retreat and a perfect base for singles or couples to explore the area. Sometimes described as a tiny house, the cottage is a mere 5-minutes’ drive from historic Castlemaine, half an hour from Bendigo, Daylesford, Maryborough and Kyneton. Enjoy fabulous views to the east from the lounge, bedroom and your private balcony across the town to Mt Alexander.

STONE EDGE is a beautiful & tranquil property set in a lovely garden located in a prime position close to the Botanical Gardens, "The Mill" & Castlemaine Town. The property consists of a main cottage & two beautiful sandstone cottages "North" & "South". These two can be let out separately or together. Both cottages have super comfy king size beds & each is unique in character.
