Townhome holiday rentals in Hanover County

Great accommodations!…. I usually stay at good hotels, but wanted to try out my luck with an AirBnb location. No regrets!

Catherine was a great host. Since she was a long-time resident of Richmond, she had recommendations for Civil War sites for me to see. Catherine is the reason I enjoy staying with an Airbnb host--I felt at home and had concierge tourist services!! I will definitely go to Catherine's the next time I am in Richmond.

Everything was amazing such a beautiful home, Cecilia was an amazing host,communication was great and she was very understanding on every aspect so I really did appreciate that,everything was great ,would definitely book again and highly recommend :)

Our girls' overnight stay in Richmond at this home was fantastic. Spacious. Good parking. Also great air conditioning, which for "women of a certain age" is super important! :-) Very responsive to our messages. We will stay here again.

Meg’s place is perfect for a base to explore Richmond or relax! Airy, spacious, and just a few blocks away from all the museums, restaurants and shops of the Fan District and Carytown. Would absolutely stay here again!

I had a pleasant stay here. The living room TV is large and great for Xbox or movies. Both bedrooms, and the house in general, was clean and tidy. Surrounding area has great access to stores.

The price was great. It was a littler further out from where we wanted to be (downtown) but that wasn’t too bad and honestly beggars couldn’t be choosers (it was a busy weekend for hotels/abnbs). My sister and I were a little anxious about staying in an abnb with the owners but we barely even saw each other and it didn’t feel weird at all. Things to note that may be pros or deal breakers or suggestions to host 1. Bed is very soft. For some people not an issue but it’s worth noting. 2. No tv in room. 3. Upstairs felt a little warm. We actually went and bought a little fan. Luckily the nights were cool so it wasn’t bad at night. 4. The key box was a little difficult to maneuver. 5. There was a mini fridge in the room which was great and they had some waters stocked! 6. We didn’t have to share a bathroom. 7. No mirror in room. 8. They have a kitty (which we loved) but I know some people have allergies!

After issues at a different property Toyin was so gracious and granted me an early check in. She consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well. This property was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was extra clean and was stocked extremely well. The neighborhood itself was interesting- when we arrived there were people physically fighting in the street. That drama continued throughout the day. After the first day the neighborhood was fairly quiet until nighttime.

Best airbnb experience so far! I definitely recommend Carlton’s Place.

This place is absolutely gorgeous!! The owner is attentive and accommodating. From our first interaction I felt comfortable and excited for my stay. The house was clean and spacious and the area was close to everything. You have access to the second and fourth floors with plenty of seating, entertainment, balconies, and refrigerators on both floors. I highly recommend this place!!

Dietrich was very welcoming and communicative. Absolutely beautiful house and great comfy bed!

As a family of 5 (3 teenage boys), we were all very comfortable. The house was clean, smelled amazing, beds were comfy with TVs in each room and I loved sitting on the front porch. Neighborhood was beautiful/historic, neighbors friendly and easily walkable to shops/restaurants. Great neighborhood to run/jog to nearby parks. We loved our stay!

Johnny’s place was great! All of the hosts were responsive and helped in every way they could. The TV wasn’t working and Johnny came as soon as he could to fix it. Very nice place and the area has a lot of great food spots! 10/10 for me! Will be back!!
