Fantastic spot!! Great walking access to food, the walking path, and shops nearby. Roy's is below the unit, so you hear and smell them preparing all the delicious pastries and pasties starting quite early. I bring a noise machine standardly. THE VIEW and deck makes this an epic place to stay. I cannot imagine staying somewhere better. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was super convenient.

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay over the past weekend. We wanted to stay in the L’Anise area, since we have a friend that lives in the town, and this was the best option. The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!

This was a perfect location for our stay and the accommodations were excellent. Very comfortable and clean. Host was very responsive. It was a very short visit, but we will be coming back to town again soon for a longer stay and will do it again.

What a great place to stay for a weekend in Houghton! The unit is spectacular. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Great for snowmobilers, about 1-2 blocks from direct access to trail 14 - no need to trailer. Room to park trailer and sleds. Close to fuel stop. Restaurants within walking distance, or off trail. Nice cozy and clean place, more room than typical hotel room with kitchen amenities.

Fantastic place just north of MTUs campus. Host was super responsive and took care of any minor issues we had. Highly recommend

Wow! This place was spotless, bed was comfy with lots of pillows, cute coffee bar, huge TV and really hot shower with lots of pressure (soap, shampoo and conditioner provided). Loved the cellphone holder on the wall by the shower!! The fenced in back patio and yard area were a bonus for us. Frederick sent very clear instructions to access the unit and checked on us after our first night. I reached out ahead of our arrival with a few questions, he was very responsive! Rizzo (my dog) and I came up to Michigan to hunt for rocks. The location was great for a home base for day trips. We visited Agate Beach park, Calumet Waterworks beach, Sand Point Lighthouse, Gratiot River County beach, F.J. McLain State Park, Eagle River Beach, Champion Mine Dump, Marquette, Presque Isle park, Nara Nature Park, Little Girls Point and the Champion mine ruins. If you’re looking for quiet, clean and comfortable, this is it!

This place was perfect for our family of 4 (all adult age). We had plenty of space, the beds and furniture were comfortable and the location quiet and peaceful. Watching the deer in the yard was an added bonus. We were there for an event, so did not cook, but the kitchen looked well stocked if we needed to. Lastly, I greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the house.

This stay was everything we could have hoped for in an AIRBNB. The home is attractive and well appointed, with all the essentials you could possibly need. It’s sparkly clean. It has a wonderful view from every direction. The guide for guests made it so easy to use the mechanicals; and the host is very responsive. Make sure to walk the beach every day. We did! So amazing!!

Place was comfortable and well organized, private and had all necessary amenities for a good stay away from home.

Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the property, it had everything we needed and being pet friendly was a huge plus as it was necessary for my travel plans.

This place is great and has amazing views. I didn’t get to fully enjoy the beach or lake because everything was frozen and covered in snow, but the hosts were great and cleared the driveway multiple times throughout my stay

Wow. Just wow. This place is special. We had enough room for all the parents and grandparents to spread out, and still had areas of the home left over. The view of the water is simply serene 24 hours a day. Easily the best house we’ve stayed at in Houghton.

The house was cute and comfortable! The driveway was a bit tight as we had 2 large trucks, but everything was comfortable and easy to find! Super comfy furniture in the living room and the bedrooms had awesome storage space and places to plug in the essentials plus some.

Aimee’s home was lovely and very close to MTU. It was priced a little higher than expected, even for graduation weekend. It was the last place available in a 60 mile radius from the university and we were grateful to find such a wonderful home with 4 bedrooms and a spacious common area! They communicated very well and generously gave us an extended check out on Sunday. They had a very sweet welcome basket for us with local treats. We were very happy with our stay! Thank you so much!!!
