I was welcomed on the spot. If you want privacy in a comfortable setting this is the place for you. All my needs were met. Oh, my own private deck off the bedroom was especially nice at the end of a long day visiting Detroit. I appreciated the sense of artistic detail by the hosts to make this house a home. Yes, there are dogs in the home but all I head was the pitter patter of feet from time to time and never a bother.

Faydra's place was a veritable sanctuary during the otherwise busy events of the Movement Festival during Memorial Day weekend in Detroit. The room is clean and cozy, the house has everything you would need to feel at home, and the neighborhood is green and quiet, really an oasis. I would absolutely stay here again.

Teena is an amazing host. She accomodated my friend and I at the very last minute. I had asked for an early check-in as I didn't have anywhere else to go. Teena and her team worked right away to get all the celaning done to accommodate us. She's super quick with her responses. Coming to the apartment I really enjoyed the place and absolutely loved the open kitchen. Will definitely coming back 😁

Overall a nice place to stay! I liked the area because there were bars, restaurants, and grocery stores all in walking distance and I didn’t have a car during my stay. The only issues I had were with the shower, which drained kind of slowly and the hot water for the building sometimes ran out. The stove is very old, so if you’re looking to cook elaborate meals this would not be the place for you, but it works for everyday cooking.
