Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hammarbyhöjden

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Vi tillbringade en helg i stugan och hade det fantastiskt trevligt. Stugan var ren, välutrustad och hade allt vi behövde för att känna oss hemma. När vi kom var sängarna bäddade, handdukar framlagda för alla och vi möttes av en fin välkomstgåva i form av hembakat bröd och fika, en omtänksam gest som verkligen uppskattades. Stugan ligger otroligt vackert, med magisk omgivning och en rofylld miljö. Det fanns många fina platser både inne och ute där man kunde slå sig ner och bara njuta. Kommunikation med värden fungerade utmärkt, och det märktes att det var viktigt för hen att vi skulle trivas. Vi kan varmt rekommendera ett besök, vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Es una casa molt maca amb un estil vintage, plena de detalls de coleccionisme (decoració , complements etc) i moltes habitacions, cadascuna amb molta personalitat. L'entorn es molt maco i tranquil, al costat del bosc. Inclús va aparèixer una daina i es va seure al jardí del darrera que es preciós. La seva situació es perfecta si també vols conèixer l'entorn d'Estocolm ja que està a 15 minuts en cotxe o transport públic, que és molt a prp de la cada (metro i tren).

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huis van Felix. Het is een heel persoonlijk en fijn huis, soms vergeet je dat je in een grote stad bent. Zelfs herten gezien in de tuin! Er waren wel werkzaamheden in de buurt van het huis, maar gelukkig hebben we daar vanwege de feestdagen geen last van gehad. Bedankt voor de heerlijke week!

Deze prachtige woning is echt een aanrader! Het ligt op een rustige plek net buiten de stad, maar is met het openbaar vervoer of met de elektrische stepjes die overal te vinden zijn, heel goed bereikbaar. Mattias reageert heel snel en we hebben meerdere tips die hij gaf opgevolgd. We zouden zeker terugkomen!

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung unseres Sohnes in diese schöne Unterkunft und haben uns dort gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Check in klappte hervorragend und alles war genau beschrieben und mit Fotos erklärt. Das Häuschen ist perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtet- es fehlt an nichts! Wer nach einem Besuch in der City Ruhe, Erholung und Natur sucht, ist hier bestens untergebracht. Wir waren nur mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs- das war kein Problem Dank einer sehr guten Verkehrsanbindung. Auch im Garten in Wassernähe kann man es sich richtig gemütlich machen und den tollen Blick genießen. Kajsa und Jesper sind sehr sympathische Gastgeber, mit denen wir einen sehr netten Kontakt hatten. Wenn wir wieder einmal in Stockholm sind , kommen wir gerne wieder in dieses tolle Haus zurück!

Absolutely loved my stay in this one-bedroom apartment in Södermalm! The place was very well furnished, spotlessly clean, and immediately felt like home. The neighborhood is vibrant yet relaxed, with food options, cozy cafés, and beautiful parks just around the corner. It’s easy to get everywhere on foot or by public transport, and I quickly felt at ease in this creative, welcoming area. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a comfortable and authentic Stockholm experience—would definitely stay here again!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt!

Gràcies a la generositat de la Sofia de deixar-nos casa seva, hem pogut gaudir d'uns dies de nadal meravellosos a Estocolm. El pis té tot allò necessari per a una família formada per quatre persones i la Sofia és molt atenta: qualsevol dubte que li fas arribar, te'l resol, sempre amb rapidesa i amabilitat. Recomanaríem aquest allotjament per descobrir la capital sueca. Està en un entorn molt tranquil, però molt ben comunicat. Gaudireu segur!

Natalie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Sie ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat alles, was man so braucht. Durch die Nähe zu zwei U-Bahn Stationen kommt man sehr schnell ins Zentrum. Ein gut sortierter Supermarkt ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Stockholm.

A perfect place to stay in Stockholm for a couple. The district is one of the most pleasant in the city, easy to get everywhere. The flat has everything you may need. Raisa is very responsive and helpful. The price is great for such an apartment in this area. I would easily stay there another time I visit Stockholm.

Great place to stay in a wonderful part of Stockholm. Uzi was a great host, easy to communicate with, and full of good recommendations to enjoy the best of Södermalm. The Coop next door was very convenient, and the apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend, and would gladly stay again!

Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Södermalm war für uns genau der richtige Stadtteil. Man erreicht mit Bus oder auch mit der Metro alles schnell und unkompliziert. In den Nebenstraßen kann man wunderbar schlendern und alles erkunden. Wer Smart-TV (außer Netflix) oder deutsches Programm (außer ZDF) gucken möchte, braucht eigenen Stick oder Ähnliches. Guven war ein toller Gastgeber und immer für uns erreichbar. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Für uns war alles perfekt. Wir kommen wieder!

The most wonderful host! Great, clean and homely flat close to metro. Extra points for a lovely view over Södermalm’s rooftops :) Would definitely book again!

Perfect stay! The place is gorgeous and well kept, even better than the pictures, it’s spacious and has a lot of natural light. Perfect location in the heart of SoFo, a lot of bars and restaurants and an easy stroll to the other islands. Barbara was amazing, super nice and helpful, answered every question and gave us a lot of suggestions. We had the best time and would definitely come back

Very nice neighborhood, easy check-in and check-out, clean, quiet. Everything was great. If you have a car, it is a superb location. If you don't have a car, be prepared for some walking to reach public transportation. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the metro or train station. There are some bus stations nearby as well (5 minutes walk), but bus service is not that frequent. In total, great place and location.

Все пройшло чудово! Lina була дуже любʼязна, прийняла нас трошки раніше часу заїзду, за що ми вдячні. Поруч тихо спокійно, є парк в якому можна прогулятись і дуже красива природа. Недалеко є транспорт на якому можна доїхати куди завгодно. Все зручно і дуже затишно. Також є супермаркети зі всім необхідним. Плюс заклади де можна поїсти. Дуже вдячні за теплий прийом🥰!!

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Jag är väldigt nöjd med lägenheten, den passade mitt besök i Stockholm perfekt. Eiad var en väldigt bra värd och gav oss instruktioner som var enkla att följa. Parkeringen utanför lägenheten var också väldigt smidigt.

Alejandro was always quick to respond to my questions and patient as I learned how to use various appliances. The location is convenient with easy access to two separate public transportation stations, delicious restaurants, two supermarkets, a beautiful nature preserve with trails and swimming from the dock in front of the building. The apartment is very comfortable with a lovely terrace and fully equipped kitchen. We were provided with early access which was helpful after an overnight flight to Stockholm. We would love to return some day!
