Jason was a great host. He warned us immediately of a possible heating issue and got it fixed before we arrived to check in. The house was a perfect fit for my group, we had 4 kids and 3 adults. The kids loved the game room! The house feels homey and it’s just a short walk to the lake. We went and watched the sunset! It was beautiful!

Very comfortable and clean. Incredible view! Had such an amazing time sipping some coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night on the terrace that over looks the lake. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting an incredible experience to stay right on the water.

Great little house to spend a long weekend in (including the pup)! Will miss waking up near the water & watching all the wildlife through the big sliding glass doors - deer, light gray/white squirrels, lots of birds, ducks. Hot tub was great, nice & big, too. Comfy beds, had everything you could need, kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc.

Beautiful home in a prime location on the lake. Great owners with excellent communication. Will definitely stay again.

We spent a whole month at Rachel’s place and we didn’t want to leave! The sound of the water in the morning, the sunsets, the private pier… it was all amazing! The bathroom stole the show with the unique shower and the great bathtub. Loved every soak! The bed was also extremely comfy and the fireplace made it extra cozy. I was able to work peacefully in the space and felt very at home. Wifi was very reliable! The added bonus of the available kayaks was so fun! Time on the water was precious and well needed. Rachel was very on top of things and very pleasant to work with. 10/10 would stay again!

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway. We had 9 people and everyone had their own space. The hot tub has a great view and we loved sitting around the fire pit down at the water. Christine was very responsive and proactive throughout our stay as well. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

Judith is an extremely kind and professional host and offers great suggestions for activities and great local places to eat and shop! Location is about 30 minutes from the center of Rochester but it is a very easy and smooth drive in. House has tons of beds and lots of family and social area. Beach is great along wi5 the small private beach. Would definitely stay at again.

Our stay at the cabin was cozy and perfect for our family. Our kids had a blast fishing and stand up paddle boarding in the large pond. We look forward to staying there again!

Great place right on the lake. Perfect for a relaxing getaway

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and personally explained how everything worked and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome of Christmas cookies and wine and thoughtful decorations for Christmas. The space was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with restaurants and attractions nearby. There was the added bonus of visiting deer to see right outside the window. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. After spending busy days in downtown Rochester it was such an easy commute to the lake. It was a gift to arrive and all we had to do was settle in such a cozy and inviting home. Water, snacks, coffee, games were a nice touch too. We are looking forward to stay again in the future. I really enjoyed starting the day with the daily devotional books watching the sun rise over Lake Ontario! It’s truly a spiritual retreat and a treat to stay here.

Penny was very responsive to numerous questions. So easy to chat with over text. Helped us out with various questions that came up. Felt like an old friend, even though we've not met her in person. Would happily recommend her to our friends.

What a great spot! We came in from California for my daughter’s graduation and stayed for a week. Great access to downtown and the Univ of Rochester (15 min drive). Walking to local bars and restaurants. But best of all, the view. We spent a lot of time out in the deck overlooking Lake Ontario, even though it was cold much of our stay. Great sunsets! We hosted family for graduation dinner and it was perfect! Maybe most importantly, the beds were very comfy! Thank you for making our grad week memorable!

It was the perfect place for a girls trip! Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We were lucky enough to have a view of the Northern Lights the first night there. Wood was supplied for a campfire and they had a puzzle for us to do on a rainy day. The Finger Lakes are my happy place and this home made my heart sing!🫶

This was a great house in a great location. Nearby lots of local restaurants and wineries, and the view was beautiful. The house had lots of space, and was very clean. Pete was very responsive, gave clear instructions, and was very accommodating to our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

As described- nice place on the water great for a nice quiet getaway. I would definitely go back. Amenities are super close by and the grill and fire pit are huge adds for an awesome weekend. Some parts of the house are starting to show age a bit and some simple upgrades like bathroom doorknobs could go a long way, but the place is definitely charming and quaint!

Rented for my wife’s birthday. We had 8 people and our dog. Place is clean and spacious and host were responsive. Big living room, everything was comfortable and well equipped.

Anne’s place was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. It was plenty big and had a great kitchen area to cook in. There were plenty of places for family to hang out and plenty of bathrooms and beds. We had a great time! Thanks Anne!

Beautiful lake views! Pluses: This house is located on a hill across the street from Canandaigua Lake with a boathouse right on the water. 4 bedrooms, 21/2 baths. The house was clean and neat, and the host was always responsive. There is an indoor hot tub in a beautiful back room (though we didn’t get a chance to use it). The house is a pleasant short drive to downtown Canandaigua. Things to note: Unique layout due to the octagonal shape of the house. There is a circular staircase in the middle of the house, but the upper area can also be accessed from the back door at the top of the driveway. There are a lot of rules, but they were easy enough to follow. Security deposit is required, which I have found is not typically the case with Airbnb’s. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our extended family gathering together in this house. It had plenty of room for all of us to sleep, eat and hang out together. The lake frontage was lovely and extra fun with kayaks, fishing gear and an outdoor fireplace to enjoy. When we needed some support with house repairs or amenities, Amy was very responsive and helpful. A great spot to spend a week getting away from it all!
